Owd Hob, Boggard Boss

Dressed in mossy robes and wielding a amber staff, Owd Hob serves as chief for the malicious fae residing in the Lycinshire Marshes, The Boggards. With a gleeful cruelty, he directs his followers to trick, terrorize and terminate any trespassers in his domain. At first it was purely for enjoyment, but recently Owd Hob taken up role as the protector for the marshlands. With the expansion of civilization and growing pollution, the swamps are at risk of ecological collapse. This goal of protecting the swamps from threats both inside and outside it, combined with Owd Hob's sadistic temperament, had resulting in him being labeled as an ecoterrorist.

A sketch of a character of mine, based on the folklore character of the same name.Hes rather obscure character, but breathing new life into them is something I enjoy a lot.

The Mossymoon Inn

In the sea of fields, farmlands, and forests surrounding the isolated Malpoze Town, the Mossymoon Inn is one of the few places travelers can rest with a roof over their head. The Pebrerell family who run it treat guests with a rustic hospitality that'll make you feel like an honorary member of their clan. The food too is amazing, being made with fresh produce harvested from the fields the family attends to. The only major complaint is that the rooms of the Mossymoon Inn are somewhat cramped. 4/5 stars. - The Travelers Guide to Midwest Kaiba

'The Maw' Concept Sketches

A charismatic conman that's a prominent figure of an emerging cult. The gospel of this controversial religion places great emphasis on material wealth and technological worship. 'The Maw' had become an effective preacher for the group, leveraging people's greed, ignorance, and insecurities to create true believers. The fanatic nature of the group, alongside the incentive for monetary gain, makes attempting to dispel belief extremely challenging.

Playing around with a new character and his design, who's still unnamed. A group that's a satire of crypto/NFT/tech types and the culture around them in the context of a fantasy setting is something that's been rattling around in my head for a while now. I'll be fleshing them out more in the future.

Selph Loathing

Putting on the armor you wore when alive feels wrong in a way you can't articulate. This was supposed to be a moment of reclamation. Instead, a gnawing guilt eats at you... this armor doesn't belong to you, does it? It belongs to Alcryst, not her corpse foolishly seeking something that can never be reclaimed.

Selph in-game had their new outfit obtained, and it's causing their extensional and identity crisis to kick into overdrive. Naturally, a redraw of a meme is a good way to mark this occasion.

The other day, on my Selph art I made for ace week, I got a handful of comments saying that they where cool ace representation- and that made me think some.

I suppose I found it ... Curious? because when I think "character representation" I think of big projects or shows. Stuff like Todd from Bojack Horseman for example. Selph mostly exists in me and friends heads, with the artwork I make, and my audience isn't large on any accounts. And in truth they're only ace because I am, and I don't know how to make/write/play as an allo character lol.

Granted, with how few ace characters there are in media, I suppose my undead edgelord can help fill in that gap.

Amidst Mankind

"No body was identified, but what appears to be extraterrestrial blood was found in the crash site. Reports of a human-like figure walking away from the wreckage also have made. Could it be that a visitor from beyond the stars is now walking amidst mankind?"
