the girl’s words brought a smile to jamie’s lips. careful with the straight, they thought to themselves. jamie was easy to get excited. “i hope i’m proven wrong.” they replied, thankful of the cafe’s event and the free drinks, as they grabbed a glass from the bar. “care to join me?” they asked bailey, still leaning towards the bar.

it a second. a long one, but she caught her. her eyes widened and a cheeks heated instantly. ‘ i’m sure you do… ’ nipping at her bottom lip, she fixated on the tiles beneath them. two teas. three of those random rainbow drinks. It was safe to say she wasn’t exactly feeling like herself at the moment; or perhaps she was more herself than usual. there was no reason to sensor what was said– aside from her essentially telling them that she was straight. besides that however she let her hair down, so to speak. ‘ nice to meet you, jamie. ’ cocking her head to the side, she eyed them for a moment. ‘ who says you are? ’
