TYYY !!! i just happen to get too invested in impa when hwaoc came and i just never let go of her ever since WAHAHA i really wish she had more screentime/was included a bit more :(( she is zelda's advisor/friend after all!!! so i try to do her justice with one silly drawing at a time.

even then, i can't create such stuff without people like u!!! it's kind words and interactions like these that drives me to create with joy and passion 😭💕‼️ SO THANK YOUUU u have my heart and my art <33

why are some of the little quirks r stylistic choices u like to give characters when you draw fanart? (for example i like t give the skin tones between two characters more different in hue or emphasise heart shapes. idk xD)

i usually give the characters' loose hair/i like making them slightly messier than they are in canon!!!

for example, the one i like to do the most is giving zelda loose hair strands!!! i just think it's fitting if i draw her hair that way in my style :))

lil stuff like this is evident in other characs too :))

in my impa drawings, i usually give her bangs !!! in contrast to her canon design where her sheikah eye tattoo is completely visible, i like having my impa's tatt be a little hidden just bc why not HSHSHS i love making the lines/strokes on her hair circular-ish??? idk but i've learned this style of drawing from my sis!!! shoutout to her for that 8)

ALSO WHILE WE'RE AT IT, HERE'S SOME LINKS TOO!!! i tend to give him spiky messy hair bc it fits his brave and adventerous character!!!

other than that... i guess i try to keep as close to canon as possible??? or i may just not be aware of the other quirks i unknowingly put/do in my art LMAO

i wonder where the idea of chilchuck being a deadbeat came from when theres like. no textual evidence for it ?

he knows what all of them are up to; he still writes to flertom and she sent him his neckwarmer, so that to me implies that they at least have a somewhat positive relationship?

its more ambiguous with meijack and puckpatti, but since meijack is also a picklock, i wouldn't be surprised if he taught her himself, considering how trades are often passed down through families, and because he talks about sending people to her if he dies.

also the way he talks about puckpatti is very like... it's obvious he wants her to take things more seriously, but he's accepting, and his tone here reads more fond to me than anything else.

like, he keeps his daughters' old toys under his desk? that doesn't scream 'deadbeat' at all, it screams 'empty nester' who doesn't know how to reach out or is scared to do so
