Where it all began.
*chapter six*
Tommy and you begin to walk out hand in hand laughing to yourselves when suddenly Tommy stops , you could feel his whole body stiffen.
“well well Mr Shelby didnt want to have to come looking for you but here we are” he spits , “oh believe me Mr kimber im only here to come see you” tommy says clenching his teeth. “well get in the car your coming with us and dont make a seen her too” he points his finger at you.
Tommy looks at you already apologetic for what he was going to say, shes only a dirty whore no need to bring her into this she will lose money for the night he says taking a clump of money out of his pocket and handing it to you,
holding back the tears in your eyes you threw the money back in his face “fuck you” heading back inside.
“MICHAEL, POLLY” you shout, its tommy “Mr kimber took him away somewhere i think he is in trouble” , “fuck polly” shouts , “its fine mom” , “ali he said he had a meeting with him tonight just leave it he will be back”.. “wait he fucking knew ive had enough i wanna go home you look at michael” , “whats gotten into you” michael looks worried “have you been crying?” ,”michael please i just wanna go home ok?”,”Tommy booked us rooms upstairs heres your key polly packed you a bag”, “ok leave me be michael ok enjoy your night love” , you smile kissing his cheek.
you walk into a beautiful room and just break down into tears.
what was i thinking ,am i stupid? how could i think tommy actually gave a shit about me, you thought to yourself while running your bath, before you could slip in your bath there was a knock at the door.
“Michael i told you i just want peace” you smile whilst opening the door , but to your surprise its Tommy before he could speak you slammed the door in his face. “ali please let me explain” knocking the door again, “please just leave me alone tommy”you shout back, “open the god damn door before i knock it down ali”, “go ahead knock your self out Mr shelby im going for a bath” walking away you could hear him mumble something but you didnt care to listen.
finally realizing it was 4.30 in the morning you fall into bed completely worn out.
knocking on you door woke you up.
god please dont be tommy you prayed not ready to face him.
“Polly whats wrong?” “notting you left fast last night want to talk about it” she smiles, “thank you polly but id rather not lets go down for breakfast just let me get dressed ok” you hum.
You and polly walked down to the boys talking about the man polly met last night ,laughing at polly antics. “ohhh the food looks lovely” you hum towards the girls, “shh your talking to loud” michael mouths , “something sore michael “you smile, “morning boys” you and polly shout across grinning to yourself knowing they had way over done it last night.
“girls he was a dream” polly smiles , “mom i dont want to know” michael turns his head , “well dont listen then boy” she slaps him “your mother deseves some fun” arthur smiles “might make her less moody” john joins, “enough boys we have work to do lets go” tommy interrupts , “cant you just relax for once” ada smiles, “what happened to you last night after tommy” polly looks his way.
“billy kimber and i were meant to have a meeting today which boys you knew but instead he interrupted last night because he knew i wouldnt be expecting him so i wouldnt have you boys ready thats all but its sorted now aye now ill go pay lets go”.
“ill take ali in my car i have work to discuss with her” tommy says to everyone, “no thanks ill happy with the rest tommy” you bite your lip , he looks you dead in the eyes and says “get in the damn car please” he hums, “fine but dont expect me to be nice” you spit slamming the door.
“how long are you going to be mad”? he just looks at you *silence* fine lets leave so this drive will be fun, the whole journey was so awkward you just wanted to cry or slap him or both..
right thats it he pulls over .. “ive had enough im sorry ali ok i only said what i said to protect you” he looks distressed, “i was terrified of what he might do to you if he got you to his house, he is not a good man ali”.. “and you are thomas you spat back jesus i cant believe i fucking trusted you after everything i told you and you spat it back in my face out of everything you could have called me” , you said tears falling from your face”, drive me home or i fucking swear i will walk thomas you spat.. he just stood there, to think i almost made a huge mistake last night you said before slamming the door.
arriving back at the house polly looked at you both as you arrive in the door you could cut the tension from you both.
“im going to see curly and the horses” tommy walks out.
“polly” you say just as you burst into tears, “lord ali what did he do that boy will never learn” polly hugs you tight,” last night we we were close to doing something stupid kimber interrupted and tommy told him i was just a whore he was paying for the night and it just hurt” you burst into tears, “come here dear shh michael told me about your family i understand why it hurt”, “micheal told you why would michael do that” you say sounding surprised , “he just wanted me to understand you is all i dont judge anyone its me” she smiles.” “i need air to think poll” you smile leaving the house.
“hello miss” curly smiles , “hi curly how’s the horse doing you smile rubbing her face god she’s a beauty “ you smile to yourself, “she’s doing very well tommy rode her today when he is upset he likes to ride the horses she put up a fight but he did well won’t be long “he smiles “thank you curly is there any jobs I can help you with?” ,”Jobs oh no mucking stables isn’t a girls job” curly looked worried , “don’t worry curly I mucked many stables in my life let me help I like doing it Clears my mind “you smile, he hand you a sprung and let you go wild.
“Am I seening things or are you mucking stables “ tommy just looks at you , “you should try it sometime keeps you humble” you snap, “fine he grabs a sprung “ “don’t dirty your suit” ignoring you he starts digging into the shit.
“It’s lunch time” curly appears smiling.
come with me tommy says pulling you alone , “Polly made us a picnic” .. “I’m not sure tommy” you hesitate unsure if it’s a good idea, “she’s does make a fest that’s for sure” he smiles spreading the blanket, “look Ali please forgive me love I would never hurt you intentionally I just didn’t want him to hurt you”he smiles , “I know tommy I know it just didn’t make it feel any easier it just that one word you know anything else wouldn’t hurt as much” you smile at him , “ i just stared the night as your fake wife and ended it a cheap whore you held your tears back I just wanted you too be proud to be seen with me I know it’s stupid “ you bite your lip, “Ali it wasn’t about that any man would be proud to be seen with you but if kimber knew I had feelings for you then he would do anything to hurt you just to hurt me “ he pulled you in “look at me I will never make you feel that way ever again” , he look you died In the eyes and you just lost yourself in them ice blue eyes god he is beautiful before you could pull away he locked lips on you and god did it feel good , he stopped and asked was it ok and that made it so much cuter, “go on a date with me tonight” he smiles please he grins , “of course now back to work I’ll pick you up at six” he winks at you making your belly flip holy shit..

*part 5*
The next morning came too quick and also with your own drums playing a song in your head.
“Morning sunshine” michael yells walking into your room , “can you not shout please Jesus” you pled , “someones cranky tis morning” he smiles “ill put the tea on so”
“thank you” michael you say drinking down your tea, “it was nice to see you let your hair down last night” poll smiles,. “i could say the same about you” winking at poll, “were more alike then i though” poll laughs. “but i can handle my hangovers” she sneers, “its been along time since ive drank” you laugh.
“well you will be drinking again tonight” tommy appears, “are you trying to kill me” you smile “whats tonight did i forget something”. “the family have a dinner in london tonight and then a few drinks the whole family so be ready for 5″.
“poll ive notting to wear for london i cant go you say panicking”, “here tommy gave us all some coins needs us looking good im guessing there is business but thats for tommy to know and us to find out” she smiles, “did you and tommy have fun last night “she sings, “last night no more than i did with you all why” you tilt you head, “i saw him leaving your room late” ,”poll” you interrupt “ i fell over and he put me to bed i think thats all that happened its blurry but tommy doesnt see me like that” you laugh.
“god your as clueless as he is” she laughs, “i havent seen tommy this relaxed in a very long time ali he did notting but smile and laugh with you last night who else he is ever like that with aye come on” she sneers, “poll it was the drink thats all you hum anyway im off to work” you smile.
work was long and boring you found yourself watching tommy alot you couldnt remember if anything had happened.
*you knocked on the door*

“hey i need to leave early ive to find a dress for tonight if that ok of course” you smile, tommy just nodded, can i ask a question tommy? he just raised his brows ,”did anything happen last night between us” you smiled, no he just kept on reading, “ok then i said that too poll i told her im not your type she had me worried”, “notting happened because you were too drunk not because i didnt want too he looked right into your eyes. your face went red and you just left.

“hey poll can you zip up my dress please” you shouted from the other room, “let me” ada appears, “jesus ali who are you trying to impress” she grinned. “noone why is it too much they said to look nice”you smiled, “no its beautiful” she smiled “there you go all set”.
all the boys were around the table disscusing god only knows they all stopped and stared as us girls crowded the room, you could feel tommys eyes look you up and down.
“right the girls are going in that car”tommy points to the one behind.
The drive to london was fun and full of chat poll had sneaked bottles of whiskey for the drive.
“Were here” poll smiled, “oh my its so fancy ive never seen anything like this” you laughed, “your a shelby now ada laughed we see alot”,
“ok one thing” tommy smiles “they dont allow single people in this resturant only married so here “ he smiles passing out rings , i look at michael but ada grabbed him “not been married to one of my brothers” she laughs, “here mrs shelby tommy” laughs let go he grabs your hand making your whole body shake.
“here mr and mrs shelby this is your table” he walks us to this beautiful table.
“so whats this about” arthur asks,”cant we just have a family dinner for once” tommy grunts, “no actually we cant usually it means business “he spits back, “look we have all been under alot of stress and i just want to show how much i appreciate everything” he said “thats all now drink up and shut up”, “christ he has gone soft” arthur laughs.
after awhile we all shared stories like a normal family.
“this one time you started laughing to yourself michael was convinced he could ride this crazy stallion in my dads yard so 1 day i said fine its your funeral and michael got on this crazy thing and off down the field the horse went all i could see was michaels feet and him screaming ill never forget it” , “ill never touch a horse again” laughing look he pulls his trousers up that what the fucker did to me he grins, “mother gave me some lecture after that he smiles i was grounded for my birthday and all”. “your birthdays were the best your mother would bake the best cakes , michael always appeared with a bun on my birthday you smile.
back when i was sweet and innocent he grinned, ill bake you a cake this year john giggled, “ive tasted your cooking i wouldnt eat it” esme laughed “and i tasted yours and your meant to be a women” john sings back causing esme to slap his arm..
tommy and michael disappears for a bit.
“that was the best food ive ever had no offence” poll you smiled “same here” ada laughs “ungrateful fuckers” polly laughs.
“right so the real reason were here tonight” tommy and michael appears, “ali your now family and when i told the familly you have never celebrated you birthday they said we wouldnt have it so this is for you” they smied as a cake came towards the table.
“its not my birthday you started counting on your fingers fuck i forgot my own birthday” you laughed, “i dont know what to say” you smiled, “blow the fucking candles out” arthur laughed, “heres to alison shelby raise your glasses, fucking everyone arthur makes everyone in the restaurant as well making you laugh,
right to the pub arthur stands up, thank you all you say giving everyone a hug,”happy birthday wife” tommy sings in your ear making you stand straight,
the pub was massive and such a beautiul sight, you spent most of the night laughing and dancing with the girl and the occasional man.
sitting down at your table, “im having such a good night” you smile ,” i can see that” tommy spits ,“might find yourself a man” john laughs “dancing like that id leave esme for yeah” he laughs you punched his arm, “esme has better moves” you said laughing. you noticed tommy left and is now standing at the bar.
“tommy thank you for today honestly” you grin, “no skin off my back” he smiles, “will you dance with me” you ask, “i dont dance you have plenty of partners anyway” he spits , “have i done something wrong you sing at him cause last i checked im single right” , “just dont like seeing dirty old men touching you is all it makes me think of all the horrible hands that have touched you before he hums alright love, “tommy ive never have hands touch me for love only for pain” you spit, “are you a virgin”he frowns, “yes i am like i said im not your type you go “to walk away , he grabs your arm, “ali all i want is too show you what he feels like to be touched with love god knows that but your bad for me” he hums,
“bad for you how” you spit back , “your making me soft” he blurts out, “god for bid tommy shelby shows he has a heart” you hit back ,when i saw your scars last night i wanted to track down your father and kill the basterd his face goes cold, you saw my scars how the fuck, you begin rasing your voice, i helped you to bed rememeber he smiles, then tommy shelby show me what love feels like just us lets go right now you said.
“why now” tommy looks confused “because tommy tomorrow ill be sober and back in small heath and right now i wanna kiss you and maybe its the drink talking but without it we will just keep staring at each other and thats it right so thats why now” you smiled,
tommy grabbed you face let go then , grabbing your arm leading you out of the club.

*part four*
you just lay in tommys arms for while.
“shit tommy im sorry i shouldnt have said anything” you jumped up awkwardly, “lets just forget about it ok its stupid” you began to walk away , tommy grabbed your arm, he just looked you in the eyes a nodded.
Curly approached and tommy let go, “curly we will be back to check on the black mare and get that stable ready for that new one” tommy ordered. “new one, theres a new horse coming” you smiled, “if all goes well with this meeting today then yes there will be”, “tommy can i come and check the horse out sorry i shouldnt have asked” you hummed worried you had over stepped your mark, “its a business dealing ye so do as your told and only that right”. “yes sure as you wish” you smiled.
Few hours later you were sitting in tommys car waiting for tommy to round the boys up.
“ali what are you doing in tommys car” micheal looking confused, “dont look so confused my dear michael im coming with” you smiled, “with the boys to the meeting but why these meetings can be dangerous ali”, “oh relax ill be fine it will give us time to catch up” you smiled, “ali im serious” clenching his jaw , “ive no doubt you that you are” we smiled “come on” ....
.before you could finish you saw the boys heading towards the car.
“tommy why is ali coming” michael spat. “for the horse michael thats all” “for the horse sure” arthur said amused with himself, “i heard he is arranging a marriage to one of the lee boys for you” john laughed. “the big bald fella with the four kids arthur joined he as four kids so least you know he can perform” arthur spat. michael looked more worried then you did “tommy there joking right” michael laughed. no not atal its the only way i could get the horse she be well looked after michael dont be worried, tommy said serious.
michael looking at you. “i always wanted kids you joined do love a bald man”you laughed. “its a joke michael before you have a heart attack” you laughed, “it is a joke tommy”you looked at him , “of course what kind of a man do you think i am” he hummed “you had no problem marrying me off” john smiled was only trying to get rid of you arthur laughed.
we pulled up to a huge camp site horses and caravans were everywhere , the smell of the countryside sparked something inside you.
“theres your husband ali” john laughed pointing to a bald fat man.
oh yum you laughed.
“enough boys time for business” tommys face changed.
“ali you stay in the car till your told otherwise ok”? you just nodded.
A small man came towards the car “ah boys” he began you couldnt hear alot you just watched there moves and made up your own story.
they spoke for what felt like forever until tommy turned towards the car a used his finger to signal you to come over.
you didnt know why but you felt nervous but you would be damned if you showed it to anyone.
you stopped beside michael and smiled at tommy.
“whats a women know about horses” the man spat at tommy, “alot more than you would think now lets get on with it” tommy spat back, a beautiful grey horse came around from behind the van, shes a beauty tommy” the man smiled. “ill decide that myself” tommy smiled, ali your up tommy hummed.
“hey girl easy” you hummed, you started at the hoofs and checked every inch of that horse from tail to mane leaving notting unseen, “she is in good condition , teeth look good” , “hoofs need some oil and new shoes there fairly old other than that notting some attention wont fix” you smiled, “michael give me a leg up you ordered “you jumped on the horse ,”easy girl “ you did what you needed, your legs hit the ground.. “nice strong horse” you hummed,”up to you” tommy you smiled , you shook the lee mans hand “its ailson robertson by the way ill be in the car boys”you winked walking away. you heard the boys smirk as you left.
you could still see the boys discussion with the lee family , you could see tommy getting angry and the boys all started to step towards the other boys right in front of you a fight broke out blood and screams came from everywhere, shit you hid down on the back sit the boys stopped, the main lee brother and tommy came close to each other something was said and the boys came towards the car.
“what the hell was that about jesus” you spat, no one spoke at all.
after a long quiet drive home the boys walked into the shelby home.
“what the fuck happened tommy”?polly looking cross, “just a disagreement is all” “are you trying to start a fucking war tommy eh cause thats whats gonna happen if you keep doing this you know that”polly spat sit down all of you, “GIRLS”polly shouted lets get this idiots cleaned up, you ok michael you smiled , “lovely thanks” he giggled, “its gonna hurt”you said wiping his face, “ugh” he tensed,
after everyone looked good again,
“i have to go back to the office”, “ill come too michael ive things to finsh” you sang.
the walk to the office was just like the old days you and michael linked laughing about something that wasnt funny but to you both it was and thats what mattered.
“who knew this is where we would end up” you laughed pushing the door into the office, “hey michael did you know my best friend is a gangster now” you mocked , “the biggest and baddest “he spat back you grabbed his cheeks “ oh darling with this face it wont work your too cute “you laughed walking to your desk, “im hurt” he laughed.

alison tommy sang out, “here we go” you smiled at michael, “yes sir “you closed the door sitting down, “this is a place of work so no more of that” he spat , “tommy we were only having a laugh ok no one was here”, “not the point” he looked angry clenching his jaw, “ok sorry ill be on my best behavior sir you spat is that all” you looked at him with attitude , “your not kids anymore alison”, “id rather be like a kid instead of a boring old man who doesnt know how to have fun now that will be all im off home ive to get ready for tonight” you spat , “tonight?” “michael and i are going out to have fun i would invite you but i guess fun not your thing” you smiled and walked away.
“hey poll” you smiled, “ill make you tea”she smiled.
“how are you finding life here ali?”, “its different from the country thats for sure but i like the feeling of family here ive never been apart of such a big home before” you smiled, “what was your family like “poll asked smiling , you hesitated “eh we had a small house with alot of stables my father trained racehorses before he found love for the drink and my mother wasnt much better” you smiled “michaels family was more my family”you said.
what was michaels family like his childhood she looked upset,
“his mother was called angie she was such a lovely person always happy , thought him everything and made him the gentleman he is and his father wasnt around much he worked but he was a quiet man when he was around”,you smiled.
“you know he always talked about you poll we used to guess who you were you”said smiling, “for awhile there we thought you were a superhero” then there was a maid and then we guessed the teacher miss emma but your much better than we could have guessed “you smiled , a tear fell from her eye “god i missed him so much” , “your making up for it now he loves you and all the shelbys” you hugged her. “im so glad he had you ali to look after him you know that” poll said, “im the lucky one poll i wouldnt have made it here if it wasnt for him” you smiled
*the kitchen door opened*
jesus speak of the devil and he shall appear you laughed. lord what have i done michael laughed,” i was just telling storys on you that all” you giggled ,” dont believe her mother shes a liar” he hummed shut up you punching him in the arm, “where did you disappear to” michael asked, “had a agrument with tommy needed time to cool down also i need to get ready for tonight” you smiled.
“that man will never learn” poll laughed “he needs a good women like you to keep him on your feet “she said, oh lord id kill him you spat , “poll what was tommy like before the war ? “you hummed , “he was peaceful , always smilling and softer” , “he is still there just takes time to find him she smiled a good few wiskeys “she laughed” that will do the trick “she smiled. “enough taking you get ready “michael pushed you out the door “you know how long it takes you “he laughed.
*after a while you were ready*
“ali will you come on the boys are waiting “michael shouted “im coming will yeah calm down “you spat walking down the stairs.
.you wore the most beautiful red dress which looked perfect on your pale skin and hugged you body like a glove and you blonde hair hung in long curls , the red made your bright green eyes shine.
none of the boys spoke , you could feel tommys eyes watching your every move.
“well are we going “ you smiled, “you now were only going to the garrison right” michael mocked “shut up you never know my future man could be there tonight” you laughed” lets go”.
you and michael walked ahead of the boys linked and laughing as always, you didnt realise that when you walked into the garrsion the whole pub went quiet,“whats everyone starring at “ you asked michael, “you” he smiled.
*after a few hours*
you, ada and polly where dancing on a table laughing about everything , more drink arthur shouted ,”thank you arthur your a dear” you kissed his cheek, you had felt tommy’s eyes following you all night , you sat down beside tommy crossing your legs so your legs would be on show, you not dance tommy you laughed not drunk enough he hummed, “you look beautiful tonight ali” he whispered in your ear the feeling off tommys breath againt your ear made you jump.
“your not bad yourself mr shelby” you giggled, “can i have this dance” a strange man asked from behind “of course mr shelby if thats ok” he smiled , tommy clenched his jaw and nodded “its up to the lady” , “well no other man will dance so why not “ you smiled,
as the night went on the room started to spin, “i need to sit down “you moved away from the man he grabbed you arm “cant dance with me all teasing me all night and just leave it” pulled you close , “no thank you i was dancing thats all now get off me” you shoved him back and he came towards you and without thinking you punched him” i said no now fuck off “you spat , you felt arms grab your waist it was tommy “everything ok” you said looking at the man “now get out “he spat
“you can keep the whore” the man spat back tommys jaw clenched together and you stood infront of him “tommy please just leave it dance with me” you said smiling puttng your head on his chest ,
“your not a whore ali your much more than that “he smiled “your my assistant” he laughed amused with himself did i just see Mr thomas shelby laugh its a miracle you smiled.
the walk home was werid you linked tommy laughing with him and michael was attached to some other girl.
“goodnight michael enjoy you laughed to yourself wear protection” you shouted, “night beautiful“ he sang back, “you and michael have always been this close” tommy asked pourin himself another drink, “always and i hope we always will be i wouldnt be here without him” you smiled.
im glad you found him tommy., maybe a bit selfish because im glad i got away with him you smiled, it makes poll happy thats all ive ever wanted he smiled, i better go to bed my boss wont like me late tomorrow you laughed , me too he followed you up goodnight tommy you smiled kissing his cheek.
Took you awhile to get into your night clothes the room was spinning to much you fell over laughing and there was a knock on your door.
“come in” you said not able to get off the bed, “you ok i heard a bang” tommy smiled , “im fine just feel over room moving to fast” you laughed , here let me help you into bed he pulled you up the bed, “thank you tommy” you smiled” i dont drink often” you giggled “i see that” he smiled,
you could see him staring at your scars just under your hips, “stop dont look at them” you covered them feeling embrassed , “how did you get them ali” he looked angry , “there from my childhood” you sang “my wonderful father and his riding whip” you looked away “anytime i would say no” you said. “fuck ali your save now noone will ever touch you again you hear now go to sleep” , he stood up placing a kiss on your forehead “goodnight beautiful” , your snores filled the room.

Tommy’s butt was as perfect as i ever imagined, i couldn’t do anything other than stand still and wish i could be invisible.
“Like what you see love?” tommy said smirking to himself, “thanks again tommy you didnt have to do anything about it” avoiding the question , “not to worry no one gets away with it anymore love” , “ok ill go and leave you alone” smiling to yourself , turning to walk away , “why dont you stay i could do with the company” his big crystal blue eyes staring into yours.
“sure you want whiskey tommy” trying not too look at him incase you fall apart, “always he hums” sitting yourself down slowly, you let out a sigh of release, “god its been along day” you say ,”you feeling any better ali” tommy says with a head tilt, “notting this whiskey and a good sleep wont fix” shooting the whiskey down you step up to leave , “goodnight tommy shelby your a good man you know” you said , “hmmm” “wouldnt be sure of that the devil is waiting for me you know”he just looked uneasy , “well may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows your dead its the least you deserve” , you hummed .
lying in bed your mind began to wonder to the beautiful sight of Tommys butt , you hand slowly slid down into your heat , imaging his touch and kiss the way he looked wet in his bath ,it got stronger till the pressure just exploded.
waking up in the night too pee on the way back you see tommy leading some whore out of his room like every other night but this time it hurt more.
you just shook you head and passed.
knock knock on your door.
“what”you yelled, “cant sleep no” tommy said , “oh i sleep like a baby just using the loo is all goodnight tommy” trying to close the door , “whats wrong cant we talk for a minute no” , “its late and we dont have anything to talk about” you spat. “why does it bother you when you see a women leave my room?” “do you wish it was you?” he grinned.
“Im not your type tommy and i never will be” you said , “and why is that?” , “having sex for a pound isnt for me tommy” ,“if its the price your worried about ill give you 3″he smiled.
his comment making you angry.
“im not a fucking whore tommy and i dont plan on becoming one either not even for fucking you” !” i will never be like her now get out you piece of shit”, shoving tommy past the door. you could see the shock on his face before you slammed the door.
the next morning you leave early and head to the stable.
“morning curly” you sang , “oh morning miss robertson”curly smiled , “its ali curly remember” you smiled , “hows rose curly is her back better”, “oh yes her back is much better ive kept the cabbage going everynight” curly said , “very good im glad soon she will be ready for a bag of coal” you said, “bag of coal miss” ? curly looks confused. “oh when i had to train a wild horse i used to put a bag of coal on there back for 20 mins twice a day saves you getting hurt and they get used to the weight” you said, “oh yes yes bag of coal” curly writes it down.
“i guessed id find you here” tommy said, could have been a detective you spat, ali im sorry about last night i didnt mean to offend you love, tommy said looking actually sorry. “its fine it is what it is just dont ever call me a whore!” , “can i ask a question”? tommy smiled.
“sure go ahead”, “you said you would never be a whore like her , did you mean the girl i was with ,shes a friend and why did it bother you so much love”?,he grinned, not about her tommy just leave it, “Ali talk to me” he sang.
“you really wanna know”? you asked, “yes”
“the real reason you calling me a damn whore bothered me was because my mother was a whore” , “i watched her bring men after men back home , i heard it all and my father was a fucking alcoholic “, “he was a great horse man before the drink” ,” he had so many horses to train but instead he drank” , “we started to lose money and my whore of a mother would have to work extra” ,” so to save her soul i would get up everday and train them damn horses myself” ,” i watched my drunken father get praised for all the winners he trained not once was i given praise no i was just beaten every fucking night” , just stopped realizing tears had began to fall down your face.
“so tommy shelby that is why i work my ass off , so i can someday own my own fucking winning racehorse and actually be able to say i trained her”! you fell to the floor.
“jesus” tommy said wraping his arms around you.
