she loved seeing him bright and full of joy. mary nodded her head and went to pull on her boots, lacing them up afterward. by then adam and the dogs were already outside and calling back for her.

mary shrugged on her jacket, laughing at the scene in front of her and followed them out into the snow "careful you three!"

Like an actual child his head wipped up to Mary, eyes wide and a big smile was on his lips. "Can we?" He already forgotten that he was making out with Mary, his childlike side taking over completly and he walked to kitty and Doggo and showed the leash.

"Who wants to go play." Which resulted in a barking serenade by both dogs. And just like that Adam was out playing in the snow. Yelling for Mary to come after him.

"tulle needs to get off its ass and work" she smiled and nodded in agreement. wedding planning was overwhelming, how anyone did this for a living she would never know "everyone always says that, like you just know. what an amazing feeling to have about a dress. oooh, for venue, you'll need to speak to adam, he's picking that one. i'd marry him in a dump if that's what he wanted so my decision making skills are not useful in that category" she laughed

"tulle needs to put in the work... noted-," she smiled, typing it into her phone for future reference. she didn't want to bring down the mood but with all of these brochures, it seemed like they'd never get anything done. "i figure once you start trying on dresses, you'll just know. you'll open your eyes, wearing the one, and bam! the planets'll realign. where are we on a venue?"

mary was out walking kitty and doggo, or more like they were walking her. trying to get the two dogs to tire themselves out, she took them to the park to run around and burn off some of that never-ending energy they had. all was well until they spotted a ball shoot by them along with a while blur of fur and there they were darting after to go meet their new friend. mary jogged over to find wendy and she smiled at owner who very obviously adored her dog - and kitty and doggo who had invited themselves into the fold "wendy, hey, sorry for them if they overwhelmed you. they get over-excited when they see a new friend"

there wasn't much for wendy to do these days. she was up to date on her work and research, and her schedule was all mapped out. in a rare free moment of time, she took the darlings family dog nanny to the park, throwing the tennis ball back and forth for her to dash after. she was enjoying the time as much as the dog seemed to be, it was a moments peace for wendy to be able to avoid worrying about peter pan jumping out on her with his antics.

wendy tossed the ball again and smiled at the white ball of fur whizzing after it.

she was in visiting adam at the cafe whe she saw charlotte come in. mary hadn't seen her look so lost before. she was always someone so bright and full of life. hoping to cheer her up a bit, mary bought a few sweet treats and brought them over to the blonde.

"here." she smiled as she placed the plate down "i thought these might help cheer you up a bit"

charlotte couldn't stand being in a giant manor estate alone, it felt jarring. grabbing her bag, she left the estate and walked down the streets of redwood hollow. before she knew it she had stopped outside enchanted rose café. entering the store, she made her order and paid, and found a free table for her to take a seat at. after taking a seat, she pulled her phone out of her pocket and took to scrolling through her socials to pass the time.

she was on cloud nine with her life. she had adam, kitty and doggo, amazing friends, a blossoming career, and a wedding to plan. life really found a way to work out for her.

"hmm, i like you're styl- it is snow" she grinned at his wonder before looking out the window. "why don't we get the dogs and head outside, they'll love the snow"

It shouldn't be legal with how blessed he felt with everything going on in his life, he had amazing friends, and a loving fiancé who was nothing like Agatha had been.

"What about we skip dinner and have a lil fun ourselve-is that snow..." He couldn't help but turn into a child admiring the view. "Mary, look, it's snow."

mary looked up from the stack of brochures she was working her way though and laughed at rita's point. in all fairness to her, she was right. there were only so many words you could describe a wedding until it sounded bizarre. "we aren't against it, but we will need convincing to like it"

"is it just me or are all these wedding brochures using way too many adjectives? i'm all for a 'magical' day but does it have to be spectacular, breathtaking and glorious as well?" rita mused, flipping through another one with mary- "wait-- are we for or against tulle, again?" @itsmarygibbs

it was lovely for them to have a moments peace together. they'd been so busy with work and the café that really mary had just needed to take the foot off the gas and have a quiet, relaxing night in with adam.

she let out a laugh, her arms wrapping around his neck and her legs around his waist. "the feeling the very much mutual."

They had been busy, that much was true - they also had to talk about wedding related things, but a date night had been a while ago and Adam too liked to have a moment between the both of them where they could enjoy each other's company.

He picked her up and twirled her around before giving her a soft kiss in return.

"𝓘 𝓪𝓭𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾, 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝔂."

a smile spread on her face when she was taken into his arm, her arms automatically finding their way around his neck. "i thought a night in with dinner favourites would be a nice change. we've both been so busy recently"

adam was always run off his feet at the café, cooking him his favourite meals was the least she could do. "you spoil me all the time, you bet i'm going to do the same to you" she laughed, pressing a kiss to his lips.

The smells made him hungry, and it took him a moment to realize where it was coming from, he was still half asleep when he entered the kitchen, he loves to see Mary doing her thing, caring for him.

Sometimes he believed he didn't deserve any of it, but Mary always reassured him.

He walked over, his arms placed around her hips as he took in her scent. "All my favorites-" He said kissing the nape of her neck. "Something tells me I'm going to be spoiled as your husband."

"you're my family, that means more to me than a family a didn't have. taking your name feels right" other than herself, the name gibbs didn't mean much to her. there was no family history or long story for the name. she was just given it randomly at the orphanage.

"i love you. thank you for being so supportive"

“I’d say you do whatever it is you are the most comfortable love.” Adam smiled but for her to throw away her last name and take his, it kind of tingles a sense of possessiveness he didn’t know he had in him.

“You, my love, are the most perfect gift the planet have gifted me.”

they had been so busy since their engagement that they really had been all in on work and living their lives out as per usual. mary had decided that she was going to cook a dinner for adam like she had first done for him many moons ago. a meal filled with his favourite dishes and desserts and fit for a king.

mary busied herself in the kitchen, cooking up a storm and singing away to the record that was played throughout their home, that she hadn't heard him walking through the door. turning, she jumped when she noticed him "oh god, sorry, i didn't hear you." she laughed her hand over her heart "surprise!"
