Pictures of Nick and I, I know you all have been waiting ‘o so patiently to see this, so I appreciate that. Honestly, there are no words to describe him, and I know that sounds a little pathetic and kind of not like me since I’m a writer and I usually always have something to say, but from one of Rupi Kaur’s poems: “i know i should crumble for better reasons but have you seen that boy he brings the sun to its knees every night”. That’s just the icing to the metaphorical cake, there’s so much about him that makes me melt all the time. He makes me laugh, and I don’t mean the cute polite sissy one you do when your crush makes a joke and you aren’t serious enough to unleash your zoo sounds, sadly for me if you’re that funny they kind of just come out anyway, but he doesn’t mind it. Anyway, he makes me laugh and you all know there’s nothing better than someone who can make you laugh, he makes me smile, yes the simple smiles and the blushing like smiles. He makes me feel beautiful and let me tell you this, I know you don’t need a significant other to show or tell you, you look beautiful, but when his compliments look good on me every time he tells me. We’ve gone through our fair share of usual relationship bumps in the road and while it’ll be three months this month on the 10th, it feels like I’ve been with him much longer than that. He’s just someone who makes me feel like the true me, the spunky me, the me that I don’t mind letting people see and I don’t mind what they have to say afterward. I’ve had my voice crack and mixed up my words or didn’t understand something and ask dumb questions (who’s Roger?) but seeing him laugh makes me light up like a firework. I wish I could drown this post in better words than these but he’s someone I would want to go through heaven and hell with, someone I want to spend my Saturday’s with and someone who just makes me simply happy with.
