Back To The Dragon

It wasn’t our first choice, but we weren’t really in the choosing mood. We tried the Flame Broiler, but they were cash only for the day. So, we went around the corner to Dragon. 

I got orange chicken again. It was par for the course. Crunchy, saucy, it did the job.

The coworkers and I have been going there quite a lot lately. I guess cause it’s so cheap. You know what they say, don’t be cheap like your father.

The Millers

The Millers is the worst use of talent in television right now. You have Will Arnett who was great in Arrested Development, Margot Martindale who won an Emmy for her amazing role on Justified and Beau Bridges who replaced Don S. Davis on Stargate SG-1. And it's not their fault. The writing is generic stale gags and wannabe gross out/crude humor. 

There seems to be no heart in the show. It's supposed to be a family comedy I guess, but everybody seems to hate everybody and when there is a 'loving' moment it feels fake. 

All in all, it's just fart jokes and incessant bickering and old people acting unfunnily senile. It's hard to watch. If you have it on your DVR and haven't watched it yet, don't.

Big Bird and Oscar

I saw Big Bird and Oscar on ice in the 80’s. Tonight, I saw ‘Big Bird’ and ‘Oscar’ on Colbert. They didn’t sound like Big Bird or Oscar. In fact, their voices sounded like voices trying to sound like voices. I miss Cookie Monster. He loved cookies, but now he tolerates vegetables to enjoy a cookie every now and then. My grandfather didn’t smoke cigars so we could outlaw cigarettes. He smoked cigars because they’re delicious, fuck your agenda.
