I hope it will help you !
Is it me or are there not that many fics for Michonne and Rick? I hopped on over to ao3 to see what's out there, filtered my search... Came up extremely short handed. 🤷🏽♀️
...
I just thought there'd be a ton considering how long the show/characters been around...
"Thank to everyone who went on this wild ride with us! We are so grateful for your love and support - with all the love five pizzas and a wedding ring can convey!" - Danai Gurira
I wonder if Rick will ever tell Michonne about the letters he wrote to her, the ones he hoped to read to her one day. I wonder if Michonne will tell him that she spoke to him every day to fill the void left by his absence.
Well I want a parallel ! I think that will complete the circle: Rick who ends up finding his family like at the beginning of his story. But instead of Carl and Rick, I want Michonne and RJ...
I see Rick and Michonne heading towards the place where they were told their children are, Michonne with a hurried step, Rick with a heavier and hesitant step because he knows that he is going to meet his son for the first time and he doesn't know what to expect.
RJ is the first to see his mother and runs to snuggle into her arms (like Carl back then). Judith at first shocked and happy when she sees Michonne, approaches then freezes when she realizes who is behind her mother. She whispers "you found him" before running into her father's arms. Then Michonne, still holding RJ, turns her head towards Rick and says to her son "look it's...". RJ interrupts her “you are the brave man” and falls into his arms.
THE END (because at this point nothing will matter to me anymore).
They Better not kill Michonne ! I read a lot of theories about her death!
I don't think either of them will die ! Well after saying that I never could have imagined Carl's death so anything is possible. 5 episodes of Richonne love worry me a little because twd never gives happiness without destroying something in return. But their story is based on family: the family that they each have lost and the family they built together and I think it can't end without this family being reunited.
Whatever happens, I am at least certain that the ending is what Andy and Danai want, if they want to kill off their characters that they have played and loved for so many years, then I would follow them even if it will leave me devastated.
