Олександр Маслак: «Нам необхідне дієве поєднання нового економічного націоналізму, технологічного археофутуризму, культурного консерватизму та меритократії»

6 вересня 2017 р., повертаючись із конференції у Варшаві, присвяченій Міжмор'ю та солідарній регіональній протидії гібридній агресії Кремля, за не до кінця з'ясованих обставин у ДТП в районі Рівного загинув Олександр Маслак, відомий український філософ і політичний аналітик, разом із чотирма іншими колегами й патріотами України.

Олександра не вистачає не лише як експерта-енциклопедиста, а й автора блискучих статей і розвідок, консервативного політичного мислителя, стратега розбудови Інтермаріуму і, не в останню чергу, одного із розробників політичної програми «Національного Корпусу».

Пропонуємо Вашій увазі унікальне інтерв'ю з Олександром Маслаком, взятим у березні 2017 р., в ході якого він прокоментував характер своєї громадсько-політичної діяльності й співпраці з «Національним Корпусом», орієнтири в царині політичної філософії, причини симпатій до польського культурно-політичного простору, шанси на розбудову Інтермаріуму, зміни у світовій політиці після обрання президентом Дональда Трампа і стандарти, яким має відповідати націоналістична політична партія, що має амбіції приходу до влади.

Інтерв’ю з Олександром Маслаком

Пане Олександре, як політичний аналітик, Ви уникаєте політичної ангажованості. Коли розпочалася Ваша громадська діяльність у рамках «Національного Корпусу» і що стало поштовхом до цього?

Здорова дистанція, «холодний розум», при оцінці політичних процесів, необхідні навіть у випадку наявності тих або інших політичних переконань. Під впливом емоцій людина легко може стати жертвою маніпуляцій. Є такий жарт у середовищі політтехнологів – «ідейним фанатиком важко керувати, але легко маніпулювати». Тому я й зараз намагаюсь у своїх аналітичних оцінках бути якомога більш об’єктивним і незаангажованим. Хоча, звісно, стовідсоткова незаангажованість неможлива. Стосовно моєї діяльності в рамках «Національного корпусу», то з багатьма його активістами я познайомився задовго до виникнення партії. Так, з Едуардом Юрченком та Олександром Алфьоровим, наприклад, ми ще на початку 2000-х років разом створювали першу, тоді ще малочисельну, молодіжну консервативну структуру в Києві – молодіжне крило Спілки Гетьманців-Державників. Разом брали участь у акції «Україна без Кучми» та інших опозиційних до режиму Кучми заходах. Природно, я вирішив підтримати ту партію, серед активістів якої я побачив людей, яких особисто давно добре знаю як активних та переконаних патріотів України. Окрім того, полк «Азов», багато колишніх бійців якого зараз є членами партії «Національний корпус», показав себе ефективною та організованою силою, яка зупинила російську агресію в Харкові, Одесі та Маріуполі. Очевидно, що партія має гарний потенціал для подальшого розвитку. І що дуже важливо – потенціал, який може бути корисним для України. Важко не підтримати таку партію.

Чим саме Ви займаєтеся в «Національному Корпусі»?

Відповім коротко – аналітикою та різною технічною роботою.

Як історик філософії, Ви спеціалізуєтеся на політичній філософії. Які Ваші орієнтири у політичній філософії?

Я вже досить давно є переконаним прихильником консервативної політичної філософії. Такі різні автори, як В’ячеслав Липинський, Василь Кучабський, Стефан Томашівський, Жозеф де Местр, Едмунд Берк, Доносо Кортес, Карл Шмітт, Ерік фон Кюнельт-Леддін, Расел Кірк, Ніколас Гомес Давіла, Рене Генон, Юліус Евола та багато інших консервативних та традиціоналістичних мислителів, намагалися дати свої відповіді на ту ситуацію духовної (і, як наслідок, суспільно-політичної) кризи, в якій опинилося людство на нинішньому етапі його історії. Звісно, іноді важко привести цю сукупність ідей до «спільного знаменника». Однак головний постулат консервативної політичної філософії - вірність культурній традиції у різних її втіленнях, це те, що робить можливим створення системи життєвих координат для дезорієнтованої сучасною масовою антикультурою та мейнстрімними ЗМІ людини.

Ви проходили стажування у Варшаві й багатократно брали участь у конференціях у Польщі. Як Ви ставитеся до польської консервативної й націоналістичної традиції і чи бачите точки перетину з українською?

Мені відверто подобається культурний консерватизм більшості поляків, який вигідно вирізняє Польщу на тлі інших європейських країн. Звісно, в Польщі є й потужний ліво-ліберальний сегмент. Як серед еліт, так і в суспільстві. Інколи навіть можна почути думку про «дві Польщі» - ліберальну і консервативну, які знаходяться у стані «холодної громадянської війни». Однак, все ж, більшість поляків має імунітет до різних проявів «культур-марксизму», який нині безроздільно панує в тій же Німеччині, не кажучи вже про Скандинавські країни чи країни Бенілюксу. В Польщі також навряд чи можливий агресивний «лівий реванш», який ми зараз можемо бачити на Півдні Європи – в Греції, Італії, Іспанії. Це зумовлено, зокрема, й розвинутою польською консервативною та націонал-консервативною політичною традицією. Хоча, варто визнати, є у польському націоналізмі і негативні моменти. Пов’язані, зокрема, з неадекватною гіперболізацією принципу «національного егоїзму». На рівні багатьох польських правих активістів це переростає у доволі примітивний шовінізм. Що, зрештою, шкодить як самим польським правим, так і Польщі загалом. Негативом польських правих є також їх зацикленість на історичній тематиці. Втім, значною мірою це характерно і для українського націоналізму.

Кому, на Вашу думку, вигідне наростання напруженості в польсько-українських відносинах і яку позицію в цьому питанні займає «Національний Корпус»? Судячи з курсу провладних медіа, Москва – не єдиний гравець, зацікавлений завадити становленню Інтермаріуму як новітній співдружності національних держав. Чи стикалися Ви з протидією регіональній співпраці з боку лобістів Євросоюзу в Україні й за кордоном?

Відповідь на це питання знати доволі проста. Подивіться, на те, як у Києві, з одного боку відверта російська агентура, а з іншого професійні «грантоїди», що живуть на утриманні західних ліво-ліберальних фондів, вперто і системно роз’ятрюють тему українсько-польських історичних порахунків. Ті люди, які ще нещодавно полум’яно «боролися із ксенофобією та гомофобією» раптом «запалали любов’ю» до Бандери і УПА. І що цікаво. Ще кілька років тому, коли у Варшаві при владі був ліберальний уряд – ці самі ліво-ліберальні «грантоїди» говорили абсолютно протилежні речі про потребу «польсько-українського примирення». Їхня цинічна фальш стала очевидною зараз. Сьогодні, коли можливість побудови Балто-Чорноморського союзу, як суб’єкту регіональної політики, стала реальною можливістю – ці люди докладають системних зусиль, щоби не допустити реалізації проекту Інтермаріуму. Про роль російської агентури у провокуванні українсько-польського протистояння по обидва боки кордону теж можна багато розповісти. Чого варте лише оприлюднене нещодавно українськими хакерами листування кількох проросійських активістів у Білорусі, через яких фінансувалися антиукраїнські провокації псевдоправих маргіналів у Польщі. Тому очевидно, що розпалення українсько-польської ворожнечі вигідне двом потужним силам – агресивним західним неомарксистам та не менш агресивним російським неосталіністам.

Яке місце посідає розвиток україно-польської співпраці в розбудові Балто-Чорноморського союзу як офіційної геополіт��чної доктрини «Національного Корпусу»?

Очевидно, що без міцного українсько-польського військово-політичного союзу проект Балто-Чорноморської співдружності є нереальним. Уявімо Балто-Чорноморський союз без Польщі. Для цього варто лише поглянути на географічну карту. Між трьома балтійськими державами, нашими природними союзниками у протистоянні з Москвою, і Україною – лежить Республіка Білорусь. Влада якої досі не визначилася з відповідями на питання – чи хоче вона умертвити власну незалежність в обіймах «союзу» з путінською РФією? Чи все ж хоче розвивати ефективні та взаємовигідні економічні, політичні та військові відносини з історично та культурно близькими Україною і Литвою? Білоруська опозиція, головним «бойовим загоном» якої зараз є зав’язані на московських псевдорадикалів войовничі анархо-комуністи – також не викликає особливої довіри. І навіть якщо білоруське керівництво однозначно вирішить приєднатися до Балто-Чорноморського Союзу народів – союзові України, Білорусі та країн Балтії не вистачатиме стратегічного запілля. Транспортна та оборонна інфраструктура наших країн буде в межах швидкої досяжності російського мілітарного потенціалу. Польща та Україна, як найбільші і за кількістю населення, і за військовим та економічним потенціалом країни Міжмор’я, просто зобов’язані взяти на ��ебе відповідальність за долю регіону.

Питання до Вас як політичного експерта. Як показала заява нового Президента США щодо Криму, спекуляції навколо його дружби з Путіним були завчасними. Які можливості відкриваються перед націоналістичними й правоцентристськими силами регіону після обрання Дональда Трампа?

Можливості не лише в регіоні, але й у всьому світі відкриваються величезні. Перемога Трампа якщо не зупинила, то принаймні серйозно ускладнила «переможну ходу» лівих не лише в США, а й у всьому світі. Звісно, я доволі критично ставлюся до особистості Трампа. І аж ніяк не перетворюю його на «кумира». Але варто визнати, він зробив майже неможливе – зміг перемогти на президентських виборах у найпотужнішій державі світу, попри відверто ворожу позицію майже всього комплексу ліво-ліберальних ЗМІ та олігархії, також найпотужніших у світі. Тим самим було завдано потужного удару по ідеологічній гегемонії лівих у всесвітньому масштабі. Очевидно, що це є надзвичайно цінний приклад для всіх правих та правоцентристських сил у інших країнах. Стосовно зовнішньої політики Трампа, то міф про його «проросійські симпатії» був доволі грубою брехнею з боку лівих ЗМІ. Звісно, у його команді були, та й мабуть і зараз ще є, люди, які вражають, що геополітичний компроміс з Москвою дасть можливість подолати ісламістський тероризм та, у стратегічній перспективі, головного геополітичного конкурента США – неокомуністичний Китай. Однак тут треба враховувати головне – Трамп не є проросійським політиком, так само він не є проукраїнським політиком. Він є політиком проамериканським. І від України, її політичного керівництва, залежить – чи зможемо ми переконати американське керівництво в тому, що інтереси України можуть в багатьох питаннях співпадати з інтересами США. На жаль, українські мейнстрімні ЗМІ, як і мейнстрімні політики, роблять все, щоби зіпсувати стосунки України з новою адміністрацією у Білому домі. Як і у випадку постійних спроб погіршення польсько-українських стосунків, цілком очевидно, хто за цим стоїть. Ті самі сили, ті самі методи…

Як Ви оцінюєте потенціал «Національного Корпусу» як національно-орієнтованої сили нового покоління? Кремлівська пропаганда, як відомо, значною мірою тримається на демонізації образу українського націоналіста. Які ідеологічні та іміджеві кроки, на Вашу думку, варто здійснити для нейтралізації цієї стратегії пропутінських ЗМІ? В якому напрямку, на Вашу думку, мають змінитися патріотичні (націоналістичні) кола України, аби претендувати на прихід до влади?

Потенціал, як я вже казав, є величезним. По суті, на даний момент, це єдина політична сила, яка може протистояти корумпованому та деідеологізованому українському політикуму старого зразка. Звісно, цей потенціал можна й змарнувати. Було достатньо прикладів націоналістичних партій в Україні, які, за наявності дієвого, пасіонарного та ідейного членства, за якийсь час перетворилися або на маргінальні напівкримінальні секти, або ж на корумповані заробітчанські контори, що досі намагаються спекулювати на темах «мови і історії». Образ тупого і примітивного шовініста, зацикленого на «поклонінні історичним ідолам» та «мовному питанні» – чим не подарунок для ворожої пропаганди? Як ліво-ліберальної, так і московсько-необільшовицької. Щоб не повторити цей сумний досвід, потрібно постійно культивувати всебічний розвиток членів партії, висувати на керівні посади людей з достатнім інтелектуальним потенціалом та системним баченням перспектив розвитку як партії, так і країни. Ідеалом повинна стати «археофутуристична меритократія» – поєднання відданості принципам (але не порожнім формам) культурної традиції, сміливого стратегічного, інноваційного, бачення майбутнього країни і світу та висунення на керівні посади найздібніших. Потрібно відкинути постійне борсання в тенетах «культу історії та мови». Хоча, звісно, треба знати і шанувати рідну історію та мову. Але слід відокремлювати речі першочергові і другорядні. Як писав свого часу Липинський – «мова є слугою людини, а не людина є слугою мови». У всьому світі зараз говорять про «новий націоналізм». Насамперед мають на увазі економічний націоналізм. Наприклад, це офіційна політика нової адміністрації США. Підтримка національного виробника, розвиток інноваційних технологій для загального блага народу  – ось те, що формує суб’єктість держав у сучасному світі. Натомість у нас, деякі не в міру р-р-радикальні «націоналісти» мріють про перетворення України на аналог Північної Кореї – ізольованої від світу країни із соціалістичною економікою. Країни без союзників та без «буржуїв», на чолі з ідейними фанатиками та шовіністами. Знаючи менталітет українців, я сумніваюся, що їм вдасться реалізувати цей ідеал. А от посіяти хаос та безцільну деструкцію в країні, перетворити Україну в «Сомалі», ці люди зможуть. Очевидно, що праві сили в Україні повинні триматися подалі від подібного роду «активістів». Тому, ще раз повторюся – нам необхідне дієве поєднання нового економічного націоналізму, технологічного археофутуризму, культурного консерватизму та меритократії.

Нещодавно Ви брали участь у відеобесіді на тему пошуку культурно-цивілізаційного проекту для України. У цьому світлі, якою є програма-максимум політичної сили на зразок «Національного Корпусу»?

Програма максимум – відродження не лише України, а й усіх європейських народів. Відродження їх життєвої сили та культурного потенціалу. Вихід із ситуації духовного та суспільного занепаду. Відродження системи громадянських чеснот, які цементують народну спільноту. Це якщо коротко. Але і ці коротко перераховані завдання – доволі амбітні та сміливі, як на нинішній час. Час покаже, чи скористаємося ми наданими нам історичними шансами для їх реалізації.

5-year anniversary of the Azov Regiment

The 5th of May, 2019, the Azov Regiment celebrates its first jubilee. Five years ago, our unit began its way, its structural and qualitative evolution. Yesterday’s volunteers developed into a robust military force.

For the Azov warriors, the celebration of Foundation Day has become a tradition. Namely this day, former and operative military men gather in Berdyansk to congratulate each other and their own unit with such a remarkable day.

The event started in the very morning. A huge motor convoy arrived on the central square of Berdyansk and welcomed the gathering crowd for excursion and taking photos. Children and adults were asking the Azov soldiers around every showpiece and listening to their battle stories with extreme interest. Along with it, the photography exhibition and children entertainment zone began its work. There also was a special place where everyone could write a letter to soldiers fighting on the frontline.

At 8:30 pm, the official part began. The personnel formed up in front of the scene and recited a prayer of Ukrainian Nationalist. After, they were addressed by those who gave an impetus to Azov in 2014 in Berdyansk.

After the speeches by former commanders, the current unit commanders’ addresses have been broadcasted from the hottest parts of the frontline.

At the end of the speech, Brother Bugay observed a minute of silence in tribute to the casualties of war.

The celebration ended with the ignition of fiery letters ��AZOV IS 5 YEAR OLD.”

We congratulate all Azov warriors on this remarkable day once again.

The Azov Movement in the West: achievements in 2019

Despite the fact that the official agenda of National Corps is a course towards Intermarium (Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea Union), the years 2018 and 2019 were marked not only by regional events of the Intermarium Support Group, founded by Andriy Biletsky, Leader of National Corps, but also by popularization of our project in Western Europe and establishing of cooperation with both friendly Western European parties and those influenced by pro-Russian lobbyists. Along with it, we find sympathizers of Central and Eastern European Union among political forces and media platforms of the United States.

Having engaged in our activities, we adhere not only to the principle of paneuropeanism and alternative universalism, which shall prevent us from regional isolationism in the 21st century. Nor solely to the possibility (yet remote possibility) of the alternative of the EU all-European integration based on Central and Eastern Europe in case of growing animosity and decentralization of Europe.

It is a high time to admit that pro-Russian threat in Europe is tied not only with right-wing populists and “radicals”. After all, such influential right-populist parties like Polish PiS (Law and Justice) and Estonian EKRE (Estonian Conservative People’s Party), which lined up a fifth of seats on parliamentary elections, assume anti-Kremlin geopolitical attitude. Furthermore, namely these parties: both EKRE or Latvian coalition party “National Alliance” – are actual and potential Intermarium Support Group partners.

The problem is of another kind: not only a potentially pro-Russian coalition gathers in the European Parliament around the Italian Lega and German AfD – official Berlin, an economic leader of the EU, gradually weakens its resistance against Nord Stream 2, the pipeline which shall be built in circumvention of Ukrainian territory and rests on not only Russian and German but also Austrian, Danish and French funds. Following its own interests, neoliberal European Union persuades Ukraine to “conciliate” with the Russian Federation, which, in its turn, contradicts the interests of the US and some Central and Eastern European Countries only – again, “right-populist”.

Under such conditions, it is important to prevent the Intermarium Support Group’s activites from deceleration, especially in the light of electoral success of the Finns Party, The Swedish Democrats, Danish People’s Party and other parliamentary forces of the region, which are currently either in the danger zone, or already cooperating with pro-Russian anti-immigration colleagues from Western Europe. Furthermore, given the lack of political unity among such parties, it is worth to give a due time alternative for those willing to think strategically and to avoid the fate of Putin’s fan club.

However, it is no less important to multiply our informational presence in Western European and American informational field via cooperation with “pro-Ukrainian” organizations and even their separate structures.

The starting point of informational expansion of the Azov Movement in the Western European field shall be considered to the Paneuropa Conference, which took place 28 April 2017 in Kyiv under the auspices of all-European Reconquista movement founded in 2015 on the back of mass foreign volunteer support in the National Liberation War in the East of Ukraine. This conference, dedicated to the idea of the alternative to European integration and geopolitical cooperation, gathered representatives of French, Italian, German, Swedish, Croatian, Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian and Russian emigrational political forces supporting a persistent course towards the creation of a sovereign Paneuropean confederation.

On October 15, 2018, the second Paneuropean conference was held in Kyiv, which was visited by local political forces, but also by speakers from Italy, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the US. Similarly to the constituent conference, it included both the political, party element and the metapolitical component represented by Western intellectuals and bloggers associated with the Third Way, identitarian movement, French New Right (Nouvelle Droite) and American Alt-Right. Both conferences have gathered such prominent Western pro-Intermarium metapolitical thinkers like Gabriele Adinolfi, Pascal Lassalle, Marcus Follin (The Golden One), and Greg Johnson.

Active expansion of the Azov Movement into Western geopolitical and metapolitical sphere has begun with the participation of its representatives Victoria Polunina and Olena Semenyaka in the paneuropean congress named REGeneration Europa, which was organized on May 11-12, 2018, in the German town of Riesa by a youth branch of NPD, Junge Nationalisten. Though a marginal pro-LDNR Russian group was also represented at the conference, which provoked the pro-Ukrainian wing, it was the first mass Western European event marking the start of the further Azov “tour” across Western Europe on the invitations from the interested in the prospects of our cooperation.

Next year, in spite of a fact that the NPD party has a split on the question of a military and geopolitical conflict between Ukraine and Russia, its youth branch took part in the second Paneuropa Conference in Kyiv and already on February 15-16, 2019 international secretary of National Corps Olena Semenyaka accepted the invitation of the NPD in Saxon Switzerland and the metapolitical center Haus Montag to speak at the event in Pirna in the course of which she described the history of the Azov Movement, the next day after the march in memory of victims of Dresden bombardment.

Among all described projects of the Azov Movement, the most challenging, but promising one is the geopolitical program of National Corps: Intermarium defense union as a platform for the alternative to the EU sovereign Paneuropean union. The false rivalry of the West and the Russian Federation creates the unique chance for the intended “buffer zone,” Eastern Europe, to become the center of the restoration of the all-European geopolitical subjectivity.

Moreover, this event was the first in the cycle of events within the framework of the «Ukrainian Year» in Germany, on the initiative of Thomas Rackow, the author of the charity German-Ukrainian-Norwegian Kraftquell (Source of Power) project aimed at organizing the vacation for veteran Ukrainian families in Germany and Norway as a sign of the solidarity of the European family with the belligerent Ukraine. He announced this project during the Paneuropa Conference II in Kyiv and on completion of the speech by Olena Semenyaka in Pirna.

In addition, namely on his initiative, Olena visited the annual convention of autonomous Norwegian nationalists in Eastern Norway who were interested in the geopolitical program of National Corps and supported the Kraftquell project.

In June 2018, Olena Semenyaka also delivered a speech to the audience of Flamberg Club, the identitarian metapolitical center in Halle, within the framework of an event entitled “Ukrainian Evening: geopolitics, ideas, prospects”. She revealed the basis of Ukrainian state building, identity, the conflict with Russia, history and structure of the Azov Movement and the geopolitical project of Intermarium.

As soon as 3-5 of August 2018, Olena Semenyaka also delivered a lecture at the first Jungeuropa Forum organized in Dresden by Jungeuropa Verlag, the friendly publishing house of identitarian Third Way literature. Olena described to German and Austrian identitarians the geopolitical, cultural and philosophical foundations of Intermarium.

June 7, 2018, Olena Semenyaka revealed the metapolitical strategies of the Azov Movement at the cultural and political event entitled “The Youth Storms” in Kirchheim, Thuringia on the invitation of the German party Der III. Weg (Third Way), a long-time ally of the Azov Movement, the first ones who united with the German branch of the Reconquista Movement in their efforts to destroy the information blockade around the fight of Ukrainian patriots.

In the wake of the Third Conference of the Intermarium Support Group in October 13, 2018, which, among others, was attended by the representative of the Academic Legion Project of the Ministry of National Defense of Poland Damian Duda and Croatian Armed Force General Brigadier Bruno Zorica, right on February 15-16, 2019, Eugene Vriadnyk, combat veteran of the Azov Regiment, founder of Plomin publishing house, delivered a speech on his vision of archeofuturistic future of Central and Eastern Europe at the Prabudimas Conference in Vilnius, as well as took part in a torchlight procession in honor of the anniversary of Lithuania’s independence, which were organized by the Kryptis ethnofuturist association.

January 7, 2019, Olena Semenyaka participated in the commemoration of three young Italian patriots killed by communists in Acca Larentia massacre. The march, dedicated to the bloody event of the Lead 70-s, has become an all-Italian sacral rite precisely thanks to the activity of Casa Pound Italia. This organization has also brought this event even to the all-European and transcontinental level, gathering participants as far as from Quebec. This visit has strengthened the partnership with CasaPound Italia represented by their international correspondent Alberto Palladino at the Second Paneuropa Conference in Kyiv.

Besides, National Corps has been a participant of the Third Etnofutur Conference, which took place on the 23rd of February in Tallinn. This event is held annually by the youth organization of Estonian People’s Conservative Party (EKRE), Blue Awakening (Sinine Äratus). Traditionally, the strong emphasis has been laid on the conceptual synergy of the nationalist speakers of the Intermarium region. Olena Semenyaka has delivered a speech entitled “Middle Europe in the Age of Caesarism and the Purpose of Ethnofuturism”. In her speech, she mentioned that namely the Azov Movement is the brightest example of Ethnofuturism as a combination of innovative technologies with the policy of protecting ethnocultural identities.

Having referred to Oswald Spengler’s concept of Caesarism as the final period of the historic cycle of the West which began with the first world war, Olena presented Intermarium as space where Old Europe can return to life again entering a new cultural and civilizational turn.

In addition, National Corps sent his representative to support EKRE ahead of parliamentary elections. Fortunately, the allied party showed an exceptionally high result. On February 24, Olena, also traditionally, participated the celebration of the independence of Estonia and anniversary torchlight parade.

On March 30, 2019, Olena Semenyaka spoke at the Pan-Scandinavian Scandza Forum founded by Fróði Midjord. The forum addressed the problems of the lacking freedom and imported chaos in modern Western societies (”Anarcho-Tyranny”). Having investigated the issue in the context of Ernst Jünger’s criticism of neo-totalitarian police state, as well as the need to put modern audiovisual technologies into service of our own historical visions, she called the region of Central and Eastern Europe the space of political freedom where it would be possible to develop the paneuropean infrastructure for such purposes. The event was also attended by members of Swedish Democrats and Alternative for Sweden.

After the Scandza Forum, Olena Semenyaka became the guest of the “Anton och Jonas” video program during which she discussed the course of the Maidan Revolution, the reasons for the geopolitical confrontation with Russia, the milestones of the formation of the Azov Movement and the Intermarium project. Her interlocutors were Anton Stigermark, the representative of the Alternative for Sweden party, the author of the “Memetic Warfare”, who also participated in the MMA tournament at the Kyiv Reconquista Club, and Jonas Nilsson, coordinator of the Boer Project, also the MMA enthusiast and a former instructor of the Azov regiment, which hosted a lot of Swedish military volunteers.

Finally, on April 6, 2019, the National Corps, represented by the international secretary and coordinator of the Intermarium project Olena Semenyaka, took part in the Awakening II Сonference in the Finnish city of Turku. At this conference, Olena made a presentation "Finnish-Ukrainian Cooperation Then and Now As Seen by National Corps” during which she discussed the diplomatic cooperation of Finland with the Hetmanate and the UPR in the previous century, in particular, thanks to the ardent Finnish advocate of the Ukrainian national liberation movement Hermann Gummerus, as well today’s step-by-step integration program of the Intermarium Support Group.

In addition to foreign speakers and guests, the event was visited by members of the Finnish identitarian organization Suomen Sisu and the youth branch of the Finns Party. Finnish audience, which had its own experience of Russian-Finnish wars, was fascinated by the natural geopolitical vector towards Intermarium. It is worth to mention that the Finns Party has lined up 39 parliamentary seats out of 200 during the recent election.

It is planned that Olena Semenyaka will take part in Forum Prisma Actual on May 4, 2019, in Lisbon, on the invitation of Escudo Idetitario, Portuguese identitarian organization. Along with developed Spanish branch of the paneuropean Reconquista movement, Portuguese patriots couldn`t help resonating with the cause of the novel Ukrainian “conquistadors.”

Among the Southern European countries, the great interest in Azov’s activity is shared by Greece whose patriotic audience also feels the cultural and geoeconomic affinity towards the project of Intermarium and invite National Corps to their land.

However, the priority of the Intermarium Support Group for the second half of 2019, of course, is holding the Fourth International Conference bringing the regional European integration to the new level. According to preliminary plans, the conference will be held in Zagreb, a center of the Adriatic angle of Intermarium.

Азовський Рух на Заході: здобутки станом на 2019 р.

Попри те, що офіційна геополітична програма Національного Корпусу – це розбудова Інтермаріуму (Адріатично-Балто-Чорноморського Союзу), 2018-2019 рр., окрім регіональних заходів Групи сприяння розбудові Інтермаріуму, заснованій лідером Національного Корпусу Андрієм Білецьким, ми присвятили популяризації цього проекту в Західній Європі та налагодженню співпраці як із дружніми організаціями й партіями Західної Європи, так і з окремими політичними структурами тих організацій, які зазнають впливу проросійських лобістських груп. Водночас ми знаходили симпатиків центрально-східноєвропейського союзу й серед американських політичних сил та медіаплатформ.

Займаючись такою діяльністю, ми керуємося не лише принципами пан’європеїзму та альтернативного універсалізму, що унеможливлює регіональний ізоляціонізм у 21 столітті. І не лише можливістю (і поки що віддаленою перспективою) альтернативної щодо ЄС всеєвропейської інтеграції на основі Центрально-Східної Європи на випадок загострення кризових і відцентрових процесів у Євросоюзі.

Давно варто чесно визнати: проросійська загроза у Євросоюзі пов’язана далеко не лише із правопопулістами і «праворадикалами». Врешті, такі впливові правопопулістські партії, як польська PiS (Право і справедливість) та естонська EKRE (Естонська консервативно-народна партія), яка взяла 1/5 місць у парламенті на лютневих виборах, займають принципово антикремлівську позицію в геополітичному полі. Більше того, саме такі партії є актуальними, як EKRE чи коаліційна латвійська партія «Національний Альянс», або потенційними партнерами із розбудови Інтермаріуму.

Проблема в іншому: на горизонті не тільки визріває потенційно проросійська коаліція в Європарламенті навколо італійської Лега й німецької AfD, – офіційний Берлін, як економічний лідер ЄС, усе слабше пручається будівництву «Північного потоку-2» в обхід української території, що реалізується не тільки за російські, а й німецькі, австрійські, датські та французькі кошти. Керуючись власними інтересами, неоліберальний Євросоюз все більше спонукає Україну до «замирення» з РФ, що не влаштовує лише Штати та деякі країни Центрально-Східної Європи – знову-таки, «правопопулістські».

За цих умов важливо не збавляти оберти діяльності Групи сприяння розбудові Інтермаріуму, зокрема, зважаючи на електоральний успіх «Партії Фіни», «Шведських демократів», Датської народної партії та інших парламентських сил регіону, які перебувають у зоні ризику або вже співпрацюють на антиміграційній ниві з тими західноєвропейськими колегами, що обстоюють проросійський курс. Більше того, зважаючи на брак політичної  єдності серед партій такого роду, варто вчасно запропонувати альтернативну інтеграцію для тих із них, хто мислить стратегічно й не бажає долучатись до фан-клубу В.В.Путіна.

Але не менш важливо примножувати інформаційну присутність у західноєвропейському й американському інформаційному полі, співпрацюючи з «проукраїнськими» організаціями й навіть їхніми окремими структурами.

Початком такої інформаційної експансії Азовського Руху в західноєвропейському полі можна вважати установчу конференцію «Пан’Європа», що відбулася 28 квітня 2017 р. в Києві під егідою спорідненого всеєвропейського руху «Реконкіста», заснованого в 2015 р. на хвилі масової підтримки іноземними добровольцями національно-визвольної боротьби українців на Сході країни. Присвячена ідеї альтернативної європейської інтеграції та геополітичної співпраці, ця конференція зібрала представників французьких, італійських, німецьких, шведських, хорватських, польських, литовських, латвійських та російських еміграційних політичних сил, які підтримали довгостроковий курс на створення суверенної пан’європейської конфедерації.

15 жовтня 2018 р. у Києві пройшла вже друга пан’європейська конференція, на якій, окрім місцевих політичних сил, виступили доповідачі з Італії, Німеччини, Норвегії, Швеції й Штатів. Як і установча конференція, захід мав власне політичну, партійну, та метаполітичну складову, представлену впливовими західними інтелектуалами та відеоблогерами, яких асоціюють з Третім Шляхом, рухом ідентитаріїв, французькими новими правими (Nouvelle Droite) та американськими альтернативними правими (Alt-Right). Обидві конференції зіб��али таких лідерів думки в сучасних західних метаполітичних колах, що висловились на підтримку геополітичного проекту «Інтермаріум», як Габріеле Адінольфі, Паскаль Ласаль, Маркус Фолін (The Golden One), Грег Джонсон.

Активне входження в західне геополітичне та метаполітичне поле розпочалося з участі представниць Азовського Руху Вікторії Полуніної та Олени Семеняки в пан’європейському конгресі “REGeneration Europa”, організованому 11-12 травня 2018 р. в німецькому містечку Різа молодіжним крилом (Junge Nationalisten-JN) Націонал-демократичної партії Німеччини (NPD). Хоча на конференції також було представлено позицію маргінального російського угруповання, яке підтримує «ЛДНР», що спричинило до дії проукраїнський табір на конгресі, це був перший масовий західноєвропейський захід, з котрого розпочався подальший «тур» Азовського Руху країнами Західної Європи на запрошення зацікавлених перспективами співпраці слухачів.

У подальшому, незважаючи на розкол щодо російсько-українського конфлікту в керівництві партії, молодіжне крило NPD виступило на другій конференції «Пан'Європа» в Києві, а вже 15-16 лютого 2019 р. міжнародний секретар Національного Корпусу Олена Семеняка відвідала марш пам’яті жертв бомбардувань Дрездена та розповіла історію Азовського Руху в містечку Пірна на запрошення відділення NPD у Саксонській Швейцарії та метаполітичного центру “Haus Montag.”

Серед усіх проектів, зазначених у її промові, найамбіційнішим, але водночас найскладнішим, стала геополітична програма Нацкорпусу: оборонний союз Інтермаріум як плацдарм для формування повноцінного пан’європейського блоку. Адже ворожнеча між Заходом і Російською Федерацією створює унікальну можливість для, здавалося би, «буферної» зони у Східній Європі стати всеєвропейським геополітичним суб’єктом.

Більше того, ця подія стала першою в циклі запланованих заходів у рамках «Українського Року» в Німеччині за ініціативи автора благодійного німецько-українсько-норвезького проекту Kraftquell (Джерело сили) Томаса Ракова, що має на меті організацію відпочинку ветеранських українських сімей у Німеччині та Норвегії на знак солідарності європейської родини з воюючою Україною. Проект був анонсований ним в ході другої конференції «Пан’Європа» в Києві та на завершення виступу Олени Семеняки в Пірні.

Крім того, саме за його ініціативи 16 червня 2018 р. Олена Семеняка відвідала щорічний з’їзд автономних норвезьких націоналістів у Східній Норвегії, що зацікавилися геополітичною програмою Національного Корпусу та ��ідтримали проект Kraftquell.

У червні 2018 р., у рамках події під назвою «Український вечір: геополітика, ідеї, перспективи», Олена Семеняка також виступила перед аудиторією метаполітичного центру ідентитаріїв у Галле “Flamberg Club,” розкривши основи українського державотворення, ідентичності, конфлікту з РФ, історії та структур Азовського Руху і геополітичного проекту Інтермаріум.

А вже 3-5 серпня 2018 р. Олена Семеняка прочитала годинну лекцію на тему геополітичних та культурфілософських засновків Інтермаріуму перед німецькими й австрійськими ідентитаріями на Першому форумі «Молода Європа» (Jungeuropa Forum) в Дрездені, організованому дружнім видавництвом літератури Третього Шляху  “Jungeuropa Verlag.”

7 липня 2018 р. Олена Семеняка розповіла про важливість метаполітичної складової на прикладі стратегії Азовського Руху в рамках культурно-політичної події «Молодь штурмує» в Кірххаймі, Тюрингія, на запрошення німецької партії Der III. Weg (Третій Шлях), багаторічних союзників Азовського Руху, що, спільно з німецькою гілкою руху «Реконкіста», першими зруйнували інформаційну блокаду навколо боротьби українських патріотів.

По слідах Третьої конференції Групи сприяння розбудові Інтермаріуму 13 жовтня 2018 р., яку, серед інших, відвідали представник програми «Академічний Легіон» польського Міноборони Даміан Дуда та бригадний генерал Хорватських Збройних Сил Бруно Зоріца, 15-16 лютого 2019 р. Євген Врядник, ветеран полку «Азов», засновник видавництва «Пломінь» виступив на конференції “Prabudimas” (Пробудження) у Вільнюсі з візією археофутуристичного майбутнього Центрально-Східної Європи та взяв участь у смолоскипній ході на честь річниці незалежності Литви, організованих етнофутуристичною асоціацією “Kryptis.”

7 січня 2019 р., Олена Семеняка взяла участь у відзначенні річниці трагедії на вулиці Акка Ларенція в Римі, де трьох юних італійських патріотів було вбито комуністами. Марш на честь події, яка кров’ю відзначилась в історії «свинцевих сімдесятих», став всеіталійським сакральним ритуалом саме завдяки духу й активності партії Casa Pound Italia, що також вивела його на європейський і навіть трансконтинентальний рівень, адже щороку в марші беруть участь й активісти із Квебеку. Цей візит закріпив співпрацю з Казапаунд Італія, представлених на другій пан’європейській конференції у Києві іноземним кореспондентом партії Альберто Паладіно.

Крім того, Національний Корпус став учасником конференції Etnofutur III 23 лютого 2019 р. в Таллінні. Захід щорічно проводиться молодіжним крилом партії EKRE «Блакитне Пробудження» (Sinine Äratus). Традиційно, було закцентовано концептуальну синергію спікерів-націоналістів балто-чорноморського регіону. Олена Семеняка виступила з промовою під назвою «Серединна Європа в епоху цезаризму та призначення Етнофутуризму». У її виступі, саме Азовський Рух постав взірцем етнофутуристичного поєднання політики відродження етнокультурної ідентичності та інноваційних технологій.

Посилаючись на концепт цезаризму Освальда Шпенґлера, тобто фінальну фазу історичного циклу Західного Світу, Олена представила Інтермаріум як простір, де Стара Європа зможе вийти на новий культурно-цивілізаційний виток. Крім того, Національний Корпус відправив свою представницю, аби підтримати союзну партію напередодні парламентських виборів, за підсумками яких EKRE продемонструвала украй високий результат. 24 лютого, також вже традиційно, вона взяла участь у смолоскипній ході на честь річниці незалежності Естонії.

30 березня 2019 р. Олена Семеняка виступила з промовою на панскандинавському Scandza Forum, заснованому Фроді Мідйордом, що цього року пройшов у Стокгольмі. Темою форуму став дефіцит свободи й імпортування хаосу в сучасних західних суспільствах («Анархо-тиранія»). Розглянувши проблему в контексті критики неототалітарної поліцейської держави Ернстом Юнґером, а також необхідності поставити сучасні аудіовізуальні технології на службу власним історичним візіям, вона назвала регіон Центрально-Східної Європи простором політичної свободи, де можна розвивати пан’європейську інфраструктуру для таких цілей. На заході були присутні й члени партій «Шведські демократи» та «Альтернатива для Швеції».

Навздогін Scandza Forum Олена Семеняка стала гостем відеопрограми “Anton och Jonas,” у рамках якого вона обговорила перебіг Революції Майдану, причини геополітичної конфронтації з РФ, віхи становлення Азовського Руху та проект Інтермаріуму.  Її співрозмовниками були Антон Стігермарк, представник партії «Альтернатива для Швеції», автор праці «Метаполітична війна», який також брав участь у ММА-турнірі в київському клубі «Реконкіста», та Йонас Нільссон, координатор «Бурського Проекту», теж учасник MMA боїв та колишній інструктор полку «Азов», у лавах якого воювало чимало шведських добровольців.

Нарешті, 6 квітня 2019 р., Національний Корпус в особі міжнародного секретаря й керівника проекту «Інтермаріум» Олени Семеняки взяв участь у крайній станом на сьогодні конференції “Awakening II” (Пробудження), яка відбулася у фінському місті Турку. На конференції Олена Семеняка виступила з доповіддю на тему «Фінсько-українська співпраця вчора й сьогодні очима Національного Корпусу», в ході якої, крім покрокової програми інтеграції Групи сприяння розбудові Інтермаріуму, вона обговорила дипломатичну співпрацю Фінляндії з Гетьманатом та УНР в минулому столітті, зокрема, з подачі палкого прихильника українського національного-визвольного руху Германа Гумеруса.

На заході, крім іноземних спікерів та гостей, були присутні члени ідентитарної  організації Suomen Sisu, молодіжного крила «Партії Фіни» та видавництва Kiuas. Фінська аудиторія, маючи за плечима власний досвід російсько-фінських війн, жваво відгукнулася на природний для країни геополітичний вектор Інтермаріуму. Важливо, що «Партія Фіни» на квітневих виборах взяла 39 місць у парламенті з 200.

На 4 травня 2019 р. заплановано участь Олени Семеняки у Forum Prisma Actual у Лісабоні на запрошення португальської ідентитарної організації Escudo Identitario. Поряд із розвиненою іспанською гілкою пан’європейського руху «Реконкіста», португальські патріоти не могли не відчути резонанс зі справою новітніх українських «конкістадорів».

Велику цікавість діяльність Азовського Руху серед країн південної Європи викликає і в Греції, патріотичні кола якої також відчувають свою культурну та геоекономічну дотичність до проекту Інтермаріум, запрошуючи Національний Корпус у свої краї.

Але пріоритетом роботи Групи сприяння розбудові Інтермаріуму на другу половину 2019 р., звичайно, є проведення власне Четвертої міжнародної конференції на тему регіональної європейської інтеграції, що, за попередньою домовленістю, має відбутися восени цього року в Загребі, центрі адріатичного кута Міжмор’я.

Growing a Forest in a World State: Ernst Jünger on Anarcho-Tyranny

Speech by Olena Semenyaka, international secretary of National Corps, at the Scandza Forum in Stockholm on March 30, 2019.

I am very grateful to Froði Midjord for inviting me to the annual Scandza Forum, which has become a true epicenter of the Scandinavian revival.

Addressing this year’s topic of the Forum, which is “Anarcho-Tyranny,” today, especially after an unbelievable detainment of Jared Taylor and barbaric campaign launched by Facebook in order to exclude even critical examination of nationalism from a public sphere, the decrease of freedom in Western societies is the main problem which is faced by everyone wishing to initiate some changes and even simply a discussion of the latter.

 Those on the Right, or Alt-Right taken broadly, often fairly consider an option of building their own networking community similar to the concept of a state within a state. In the context of new Facebook limitations, it would mean not only the creation of their own social networks (the path which has already been well-trodden by American Alt-Right) but also regular socializing, providing all kinds of assistance to each other, basically, building a paradoxical international tribe.

Such an approach, again, is natural and fair. But, to find the remedy in a long-term perspective, it’s important to determine the origins of the problem. To understand why operating within the global Western political system can be only temporary, it would be helpful to address the thought of the Third Way, the German interwar movement which has given the world names like Arthur Moeller van den Bruck, Oswald Spengler, Ernst and Friedrich Georg Jünger, Carl Schmitt, Armin Mohler and others. Having done that, we will realize that a much safer, or at least a parallel way, should consist in nothing but shaping the alternative world order. Which, again, does not cancel the entryist strategy of subverting the system from within.

Normies got used to the idea that horrors of total control are the legacy of totalitarian regimes only, whereas the brave new world born after WW2 is bad only in Huxley's and Orwell's books. The point of Ernst Jünger, who offered one of the earliest and most insightful descriptions of the coming totalitarian orders in his interwar classic treatise "The Worker. Domination and Gestalt" (1932), is that the difference between the two regimes which rivalled for the planetary domination in the 20th century and the post-war neo-liberal order, in fact, is not so striking. 

Back in the 30-s, Jünger had been observing the same developments not only in the Soviet Union and Germany but also in democratic France and Great Britain. He called this process "total mobilization" which is carried out by means of technology. And, Jünger went on to say, since the information component was growingly significant in modern wars, the states not only secretly engaged in race of arms but also had been enhancing the spheres which helped to make a society more homogeneous and uniform: sports, cinematograph, press, as a means of propaganda in particular. 

Jünger traced the origins of this process back to the Napoleonic wars, which for the first time dissoluted the borderline between the lacking military and the civilians. The declining warrior estate, the last bastion of aristocracy, eventually collapsed during the WW1 due to its groundbreakingly industrial character. The soldier behind the artillery battery no longer needs to be honorable, strong or clever. He needs to be professional, that's all. The very basis for heroism breaks down. Warriors turn into workers who often don't even have an experience of direct contact with the enemy. Jünger makes it clear that heroic realism is the only attitude which is worthy of cultivating under altered conditions, and precisely stoical acceptance of the latter is what makes such an attitude "heroic."

Jünger, who occupies a very special place among the theorists of philosophy of technology, heuristically associated the latter with the mythological forces of titanism. He and his brother Friedrich Georg described in detail what it means, and their mythological and poetic metaphors, in my opinion, have a huge descriptive and explanatory value.

In terms of Ernst Jünger's philosophy of culture, the titans, chthonic creatures, rebel against the gods, Olympians, by destroying the established borders between their creations, including Oswald Spengler's creatures (beings) of the higher type: cultural-civilizational types, let alone nations, nation states and races. The only difference between the interwar and the post-war spiritual-historical situation is that the advent of industrial orders bore the mark of titan Prometheus, homo faber, basically, the principle of productivity and a merciless rational warfare, whereas the post-industrial society loses heroic voluntarism of Prometheus (who, after all, remained on the side of the gods), because now the titans have a more powerful ally: Gaia, Mother Earth herself revolting against Heaven-Uranus. 

The invention of the lightening rod defending earth from heavenly fire in 1752, according to Jünger, was one of the starting points of this process. Today, Gaia covers herself with an ever denser network of cables, the true kingdom of titans producing their own fire and energies, which replaced earlier industrial gigantism. Along with the erosion of godly archetypes, species of animals and plants, flourishes genetic engineering challenging natural divine designs, as well as artificial insemination as the most obvious manifestation of the matriarchal orders’ expansion. All kinds of borders, limitations and inequality are treated with extreme irritation. Everything becomes fluid like early shape-changing sea-god Proteus, one of the enemies of Hercules, who sided with the gods against the chthonic creatures.

 Actually, we have already heard similar ideas in this or that form, for example, Julius Evola’s take on the “gynecocratic” society, but the important difference is that Jünger describes these tendencies in neutral objective terms, firstly, because the titans also have their legitimate place in the mythological structure of the universe and resonate with some aspects of a human psyche, secondly, these tendencies are not eternal. In this respect, Jünger, like Nietzsche, was a true visionary.

For the shipwreck of Titanic, in Jünger's interpretation, was another powerful sign sent by Cassandra indicating that the reign of the titans would also soon come to an end. At the same time, it is not a matter of sequential cycles of the divine and titanic rules. According to Jünger's forecast, the titans will reign throughout the entire 21th century, but then the gods will return, casting the titans in the Tartarus again, but also completing the eventual decline of the anthropocentric history which began with WW1 as the gates through which the titans entered the historical scene. Anti-individualistic, anti-human, misanthropic totalitarian orders, in Jünger's words, are a natural outcome of a much more global metaphysical dynamics: man's giving way to the titans on the historical arena.

However, early Jünger welcomed this process as the active-nihilistical phase of Friedrich Nietzsche's transvaluation of all values which must end with the birth of new values. Superman is the conqueror of God and nothing, says Nietzsche meaning that it is about creative ruination, but also giving a hint that Nothing may be an enemy much more terrific than the old order and values.

That's why early Jünger neutralized Marxist economical reductionism by reinterpreting the Worker not as a worker estate or a proletarian class but as a new human type which is as if engraved, as if imprinted in the human material by the metaphysical and, should be added, titanical Gestalt of the Worker. The new human type assumes the features of technology: activity, dynamism, impersonality and a passion for uniform ways of behaviour. Jünger calls it the principle of work carefully distinguishing it from the moral Biblical merits of hard labours. And he welcomes the new human type replacing the "touching child of the bourgeois sentimentality," the individual. In this context, Jünger also attacks the freedom of speech and fake artistic expression.

Simultaneously, the new human type is not so much totalitarian as “superhuman”: according to Jünger, this is the new aristocracy born in the trenches of WW1. Anyway, we easily recognize the polemic with “I accuse,” Emil Zola's letter to the president of French Republic in defense of Alfred Dreyfus, Jewish officer who was charged with state treason and was also condemned by the patriotic public. Since then, criticism of the state, bureaucracy and official media from a civic point of view has been associated exclusively with the Left.

 However, having received a ban on publishing in the British occupation zone right after the end of WW2 and, overall, experiencing total control in the post-war FRG, Jünger, soon enough, developed his own extremely influential third positionist criticism of the police state. Following his friend Carl Schmitt, he labeled the neo-totalitarian political system “Leviathan” and started summoning gods back. Shortly afterwards, Jünger was reintegrated into the post-war German society as a writer, participated in the German-French reconciliation ceremony in 1984 alongside German chancellor Helmut Kohl and French president Francois Mitterand and, eventually, has become a true cultural icon in Germany and beyond, but his criticism has remained unchanged.

 As opposed to the interwar emphasis on the new human type, Jünger started stressing individual strategies of resisting Leviathan. Jünger documents this change of perspective in works like "Across the Line" (1950), "The Forest Passage" (1951), as well as later collection of aphorisms named "Author and Authorship" (1984). As opposed to his early attack on fake political and artistic freedom, this time, Jünger places poets and artists among other figures hated by the tyrants: the followers of religious and metaphysical teachings who don't fear death but whom the tyrants fear, friends and lovers who do not let Leviathan dissolute the personal in the public. Almost liberal ideas, as far as we see, but they are well-familiar to us in the context of discussing the model of a state within a state, the oasis in the desert of post-war nihilism, as Jünger defines this space of personal freedom. For the elephant skin of the titans still suffers from artistic stings of the muses, Jünger adds.

 To sum up, Jünger suggests the models of a sovereign individual, first Waldgänger (the Forest Fleer), then the Anarch as the advanced version of the latter. The metaphor of the Forest and hidden forest paths leading to freedom becomes crucial for the post-war Third Way, especially in Jünger’s and Heidegger’s work. Many recognize here a reference to Tacitus’ “Germania,” and Jünger himself referred to the old Icelandic right to retreat into the forest for those who were proclaimed outlaws. In many respects, these models are as polemical with regard to the liberal (bourgeois) concept of freedom as the new human type exemplified in the Warrior and the Worker. But, as opposed to the latter, the Forest Fleer and the Anarch target not the old discredited order but Nothing itself, Nothing that not so much replaced it in all its outright omnipresence as found its way into the very heart of the new post-war order, seemingly humanist and freedom-loving.

Actually, already in 1949 futuristic dystopian novel “Heliopolis” Jünger showed that technological development wouldn't bring liberation and equality. He illustrates it in the episode about the device named phonophor, an analogue of modern smartphones with an access to the Internet, which unveiled the old deception of indirect democracy. Although all residents of Heliopolis could participate daily in internet plebiscites and questionnaires, answer “yes,” “no,” “abstain,” the right to pose questions for voting, as always, belonged to the few. Today, in the epoch of audio-visual technologies, the dystopian aspect of technology in the service of a particular political agenda consists in the filtered informational, especially online, exchange with a society: anytime, a political opponent can be announced an “extremist” and deprived of such access.

The Orwellian genre of the futuristic dystopian novel has become very symptomatic for late Jünger. 1977 novel “Eumeswil,” which is a sequel to “Heliopolis,” is a key parody of the modern society in which Jünger, conceptually, continues developing the main theme of “The Forest Passage”: liberalism has nothing to do with freedom. The main difference between the two models of a sovereign individual described in these works is that the society expelled the Forest Fleer, whereas the Anarch expelled the society from himself; as famous Jünger’s formula says, the Anarch is to the anarchist, what the monarch is to the monarchist.

A protagonist of the Anarch in the novel, historian Martin “Manuel” Venator, is also employed as a night steward at the Casbah, a fortress of Condor, the tyrant ruling over the futuristic city state Eumeswil somewhere in North Africa. As a sovereign individual, he is no enthusiastic supporter of Condor and, theoretically, could even assassinate him, but the self-stylized Anarch is even more distanced from the “opposition” in the person of advocates of what he believes to be fake freedom: anarchists “raging until they are thrust into a more rigorous straitjacket,” liberals, demagogic socialists imagining themselves the followers of Brutus. As opposed to them, the Anarch rejects not the state and power structures as such; he rejects the very foundations of the contemporary society, because, as a historian, he knows “what can be offered” (“I am an anarch – not because I despise authority, but because I need it”).

Interestingly enough, in tune with late Jünger’s frequent motif of “The Great Transition,” “Eumeswil” ends with the Great Hunt in the jungle in which participate both the narrator, Martin Venator (meaning “hunter”), and tyrant Condor. Nobody returns from this highly metaphorical “Forest Passage,” and this final conjunction of the Anarch and the tyrant, just like Jünger’s conscious collision of freedom vs. “freedom,” functions as a positive counterpart of today’s anarcho-tyranny.

In other words, the Anarch rejects only the regime of anarcho-tyranny comprised of delusional freedom and no less fake and illegitimate authorities. And we, third positionists, in no way attack freedom while attacking neo-liberalism: we attack neo-totalitarian despotism of quasi-Eastern type which currently reigns in the old West maniacally hunting thought crimes of the dissidents.

 Actually, it was Oswald Spengler who for the first time clarified that the late phase of the European cultural and civilizational type, the Faustian phase, is indifferent to arts, poetry and, overall, culture. It cares about science, technology, industry, construction (not architecture as such), spatial expansion and quantitative growth in general. Spengler called it the late civilizational phase when the culture's creativity is already exhausted. Jünger reinterpreted it as the contrast between the divine and titanic reigns. Similar ideas may be found in the creativity of Rene Guenon, the founder of integral traditionalism, “The Reign of Quantity and the Signs of the Times” (1945) in particular. When the cannons sing, muses are silent, reiterated back in the days Nietzsche.

 That's why, on a global scale, as pompous and surreal as it may sound, we will feel a relief only when we hasten the coming of a new metahistorical aeon. When the gods return, culture, intelligence and argumentation become important again. Yet, the very idea of expansion and voluntaristic hastening of higher cycles is titanic, Promethean, and that is also why I refer to Jünger's principled belief that man should be friends both with the gods and the titans, for he has elements of both of them.

The main lesson drawn by Jünger from WW2 was that the new orders did not bring new values and can easily coexist with nihilism. However, the reverse is also true: the Forest can grow bigger from any point of the existing titanic infrastructure, for, as Jünger persuasively shown, it is not “evil,” it’s neutral. Technology, as a mythical power, of course, is neutral not in a sense of being a mere instrument of progress and equal distribution of material goods. Experience of two world wars says that technology, above all, is a destructive, levelling power. Still, it can work both ways, for Leviathan and for the Forest, for the global state and for the rebel who does not need the mediation of the latter while addressing the society. That’s why the global political system fears popular metapolitical video bloggers so much: they defeat the modern world with its own weapons.

As Carl Schmitt observed, modern Partisan, thanks to new technological means, becomes mobile and rootless, which makes him especially dangerous for the system. Schmitt provided probably the deepest philosophical-political account of anarcho-tyranny: the global police state which denies the normal notion of the enemy, and, having demonized all opponents as enemies of humanity as such (not some contingent and particular regime like the modern Western political system), legitimizes its neo-totalitarian oppression through repeated counter-terror operations against all disagreeing. Today it happens, above all, by importing representatives of incompatible cultural values into Western societies and criminalizing the popular frustration. But certain geopolitical alternative, inspired by the modernity itself, will make the system armless.

Not incidentally, Jünger, during his stay in Paris as part of the German occupation administration, wrote a secret treatise “Peace” in which he suggested a model of the United States of Europe. Learning from Trotskyist internationals, Jünger called to develop universalism from the Right instead of reactionary, and futile, resistance to this world-historical tendency. Today, when I say that the model of a state in a state is insufficient or, more precisely, intermediate, and refer to paneuropean geopolitical doctrines and a planetary geostrategy, I mean creation of the infrastructure for the universalism from the Right within which we will be able to expand (“titanically”) without compromising our values (the “divine”).

Fear of the system when it saw that networking of Alt-Right brought Donald Trump to power was enormous, although he’s a part of it. However, shutting down the public space for too many dissidents will cost too much for the system. We have to strongly "inject freedom" in the information space, in the artistic sphere as well, instead of letting it associate us with real terror acts, which, also after the 11th of September and Iraq, are used only for imposing more control on the individual, even apolitical. It does not mean that we cannot show teeth: there is enough crime, violence and injustice in the world entitling us, especially in Eastern Europe, to self-organize and claim first civic, then political, and, finally, geopolitical power to ourselves.

But the main battle lies in the individual’s relation to technology as both an alienating and a bonding power, both an instrument of dystopian totalitarian control or propaganda and an emancipating energy that does not recognize any limitations, intimately reaching people’s minds and souls like modern music and cinematograph.

 In this respect, the situations in Western and Eastern European parts of the world are equal. We have to make a careful mapping of the public space to mark the territories in which the Forest can sprout out as the mythical vines of Dionysus. Illuminating social interaction, true art, liberating metaphysical teachings and practices, combined with our own geoeconomical projects, will bring down the regime of anarcho-tyranny in the blink of an eye.

There have always been warm relations between Ukraine and Portugal which has quite a numerous Ukrainian diaspora.

When the conflict in East Ukraine broke out, the paneuropean Reconquista Movement was established in Kyiv to support the Ukrainian struggle for identity and independence.

Today, we are happy to receive the invitation of this glorious country, the homeland of European conquistadors, and strengthen cultural and geopolitical ties with Portugal and Southern Europe.

National Corps attended Etnofutur III conference in Tallinn (Conference Report)

February 23, National Corps took part in the Etnofutur III conference in Tallinn, which is for the third year in a row hosted by the youth organization of Estonian People's Conservative Party (EKRE), Blue Awakening (Sinine Äratus).

Under the skillfull leadership of Ruuben Kaalep, Tartu City Council member and the head of EKRE's Foreign Affairs office, it has become a rare point of attraction for renowned speakers from all over the world.

Traditionally, the strong emphasis has been laid on the conceptual synergy of the nationalist speakers of the Intermarium region. Once again, representatives of Sinine Äratus confirmed their substantive philosophical background which earned them international fame.

Ruuben Kaalep guarded the listeners through the existential journey paralleled with the new dawn in the fate of Europe, not forgetting to mention Martin Heidegger's diagnosis of the origins of decline, when identification with acts of thinking replaced openness to Being. Fedor Stomakhin presented a captivating piece on the strategies to neutralize and take the advantage of the leftist tendency in the established democratic procedures and the global marketing system. Co-written with another member of Sinine Äratus, Remi Sebastian Kits, it was their yet another profound contribution to the development of the conception of ethnofuturism.

Success of Sinine Äratus is proven by the fact that another regular participant of Etnofutur conferences and a big enthusiast of Intermarium from Lithuania, Tomas Skorupskis, relaunched the youth wing of the Lithuanian Nationalist Union as the new ethnofuturist organization named Kryptis. Feb. 15-16, representative of National Corps Eugene Vriadnyk attended the Prabudimas conference and the massive torchlight march in honor of Lithuania's independence which were organized by Kryptis.

Olena Semenyaka, international secretary of National Corps and coordinator of the Intermarium Support Group, also continued elaborating the titular for this conference cycle conception in a speech entitled "Middle Europe in the Age of Caesarism and the Purpose of Ethnofuturism."

The brightest example of ethnofuturism as a combination of the policy of protecting ethno-cultural identities ​​with innovative technologies, in her opinion, is the Azov Movement, which has long transcended the narrow party format. Dozens of social projects, educational programs, highly professional military structures, that's how should look like an all-Ukrainian patriotic movement of the 21st century which is well-prepared for the hybrid challenges of our time.

Having illustrated Oswald Spengler's concept of caesarism (the final period of the historic cycle of the West which began with the first world war) by the modern phenomenon of right-wing populism accompanied by military might, Olena Semenyaka presented Intermarium as the space where Old Europe can return to life again entering a new cultural and civilizational turn. Besides, she highlighted Ernst Jünger's philosophy of history efficiently incorporating, and neutralizing, the aforementioned left-leaning world-historical tendency.

Apart from developing the concept of ethnofuturism, which has strategic significance for the establishment of a regional union, National Corps came to Tallinn also in order to support a friendly organization on the eve of the parliamentary election in which EKRE will take part this weekend. According to exit polls, EKRE can count on 20 percent of electoral sympathies.

However, Estonia is not only a vanguard of the Baltic ethnofuturist studies. As a member of the Finno-Ugric ethnolinguistical family, Estonians are well-known for friendly ties with the Finns and the Hungarians, which makes their role in the consolidation of the Intermarium cooperation especially important.

Not incidentally, Etnofutur III conference was opened by MP Balazs Szabo representing quite famous in the international field Hungarian party Jobbik. Still, not everyone knows that Jobbik took a slightly different political course, and, currently, this is the biggest opposition party in Hungary. The reason is simple but valid enough to push Jobbik towards the temporary tactical alliance with the leftists: Balazs Szabo described Victor Orban's regime as the epitome of corruption and the right-populist illusion of real changes.

During and after the conference, Olena Semenyaka discussed with the Hungarian delegation the ways to neutralize the interethnic conflict in Transcarpathia, as well as to promote the natural for the region Intermarium union in Hungary.

On the eve of the Awakening conference in Finland, a long-anticipated agreement about the promotion of the Intermarium union was also reached with the Finnish conference participants. Timo Hännikäinen, a remarkable Finnish intellectual, publisher, editor-in-chief of the online magazine "Sarastus," leaved no doubts about the historical and cultural affinity between Ukraine and Finland in his inspiring speech at Etnofutur III conference in Tallinn, which laid a special emphasis on Carl Schmitt's concept of the political resting on the existential division between "us" and "them."

Currently, Ukrainian Intermarium Support Group plans in-depth familiarizing of the Finnish audience with the geopolitical project of Intermarium jointly with the youth organization of The Finns Party and the Finnish identitarian organization Suomen Sisu.

Froði Midjord (The Faroe Islands / Sweden), host of the Guide to Kulchur podcast and the founder of Scandza Forum, which, among others, will be attended by Olena Semenyaka in the end of March, brilliantly showed the absurdity of the unconscious hope of some activists on the Right to invoke sympathy of the political enemies by victimizing themselves and proving how good their real intentions are. But Sinine Äratus is also well-known for their close ties with the Anglophone world and the American Alt-Right. Last year, it was represented by famous Scottish videoblogger Millennial Woes. This year, American "heavy artillery," Jared Taylor and Greg Johnson, carried away the audience by their flawless speeches, the former diagnosing the multicultural disorder of the Western sociocultural psyche, and the latter complementing it with quite a cheering reflection about the rise of national populism in the United States and Europe. Cheering for the nationalists and identitarians all over the world, upsetting for the globalists: at that very time, Greg Johnson's "Manifesto of White Nationalism" was banned from Amazon.

The conference was attended by more than 100 guests from Estonia and other European and American countries. The biggest interest to the project of Intermarium was naturally demonstrated by the representatives of the region's countries. However, Olena Semenyaka also had an fruitful conversation with the youth organization of the Italian party Lega, which, since recently, has been paying a growing attention to the political trends of Central and Eastern Europe and is preparing to form a powerful coalition in the European Parliament.

Having participated in organized by EKRE more than 10,000-strong torchlight march in honor of Estonia's independence across the beautiful medieval streets of Tallinn together with Latvian, Swedish, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Finnish, American, English and Canadian conference participants, Olena Semenyaka completed an intense and productive visit to Estonia by recording several video interviews for the Finnish and American media, as well as invited EKRE and the Etnofutur conference participants to the Fourth Conference of the Intermarium Support Group.

"The Evolution of the Azov Movement" at the event of NPD in Saxon Switzerland

Feb. 16, the activists of the Kraftquell project and the department of NPD in Saxon Switzerland hosted a unique event in this beautiful German land dedicated to the evolution of the rapidly growing Ukrainian Azov Movement.

The lecturer was Olena Semenyaka, International Secretary of National Corps, the parliamentary wing of the Azov Movement. Her speech was supported by video presentations and translated to German with a detailed background information for the local audience. The vivid interest of the listeners was manifested during the questions part of the event. What is remarkable, not only youth was present at the meeting, and the older German generation showed a rare knowledge of the Ukrainian history and state building.

Olena Semenyaka highlighted the origins of the Azov Movement as the Ukrainian nationalist organization of the new generation named The Patriot of Ukraine, which emerged in the Eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv and, since its very inception, had a mature paneuropean thinking, as well as regularly conducted paramilitary training. When the Maidan Revolution broke out, members of The Patriot of Ukraine were well-prepared to fight the police, first within the broad national-revoutionary movement of Right Sector, then, after their unalterable leader Andriy Biletsky was released from prison, as the newborn Azov Movement.

Following the path from the war to politics, they formed the Black Corps comprised of the "little black men" as a response to anonymous Russian "little green men" without insignia who annexed Crimea during the so-called democratic referendum on its future fate. The Black Corps operated in Eastern Ukraine, and its first most successful operation was the liberation of half a million city of Mariupol, the second biggest city in the region after Donetsk.

At that time, it has already been the Azov Battalion, the only Ukrainian volunteer battalion which has been converted shortly afterwards into the regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. If the authorities had provided minimal support for the unit, it would have entered Donetsk, and the only successful counter-offensive operation throughout the entire course of the conflict under conditions of Minsk peace agreements was conducted precisely by the Azov Regiment, namely the release of Shyrokyne.

The logic of the Azov Movement's unfolding was as follows: the Azov Civil Corps, the National Corps party, the paramilitary structure of National Militia, and over 30 projects functioning as independent NGOs, from the education and metapolitics to sport and youth camps.

But the most challenging projects of the Azov Movement, which is well-prepared for the hybrid scenario both at war and in politics, are the geopolitical ones. Olena Semenyaka emphasized that the Intermarium (Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea) defense union as a platform for the alternative to the EU sovereign Paneuropean union is the main geopolitical program of National Corps. In this context, she referred to the German doctrines of Mitteleuropa, as well as made it clear that National Corps considers Ukraine an heir of the continental mission of "the heart of Europe," Germany, in times of the "iron chancellor" Otto von Bismarck. In turn, the Azov Movement, in her opinion, heavily reminds of the German Freikorps caught between two fires: on the one hand, the Bolshevik invasion in Germany and Baltics, on the other hand, the treacherous Weimar government.

However, Olena Semenyaka concluded to say, precisely the false rivalry of the West and the Russian Federation creates the unique chance for the intended "buffer zone," Eastern Europe, to become the center of the restoration of the all-European geopolitical subjectivity and superpower. After the majority of Russian nationalists fled to Ukraine due to severe "anti-extremist legislation," multicultural agenda and "Nazi" witch hunt in Putin's Russia, it has become obvious that only Eastern and Central Europe, especially Ukraine, remains the space of political freedom and the springboard for ambitious geopolitical projects.

The host of the event was the initiator of the Kraftquell project Thomas Rackow who seized the opportunity to announce the opening of this German-Ukrainian-Norwegian project in Germany. The goal of this, in fact, charity project is to organize a vacation in Germany and Norway for some Ukrainian veteran families and thus to show the European family of peoples in action. In the end of the lecture, Olena Semenyaka received a package of production promoting the Kraftquell project which was made with the support of the excellent metapolitical center in Pirna, Haus Montag, which is coordinated by Thomas Sattelberg.

The event was closed with a fantastic live performance by Phil of FLAK, a famous German RAC band, which, according to the fair observation of the frontman, has long transcended the genre in terms of the scope of the ideological response and the suggested positive alternative. Apart from the classic FLAK in German, he performed the composition in English which was dedicated to the paneuropean solidarity of European nations.

The participants of the meeting eagerly made further cooperation plans for the observable future, which, apart from the Kraftquell project, includes the publishing initiatives and joint international events.

«Інтермаріум» крокує Європою

Європа тріщить по швах. Британія спішно залишає Євросоюз. Серед інших країн-членів загострилися політичні розбіжності з низки питань, адже деякі країни, особливо Східної Європи, не згодні з політикою ЄС. У цих реаліях назріла необхідність створення нового союзу, здатного «перезавантажити» всю західну цивілізацію та відновити лідерські позиції Європи в світі.

Починаючи з осені позаминулого року, Національний Корпус активно презентує за кордоном геополітичну програму партії, проект Інтермаріум. Ідеться про союз центрально- й східноєвропейських націй у просторі між Адріатичним, Балтійським і Чорним морями, покликаний зробити регіон гравцем світового рівня. Саме Адріатично-Балто-Чорноморський Союз ми пропонуємо як альтернативу вступу до Євросоюзу, обстоюваного чинною владою.

Польща. У жовтні 2017 року проект Інтермаріум був презентований перед учасниками конференції «Розбита Імперія» у Колумновій залі Польського Сейму. Вже у листопаді представники партії розглянули важливість вичерпання конфліктів історичного минулого з сусідньою країною на конференції з нагоди Дня Незалежності Польщі «Європа майбутнього-2». Наразі польська сторона у відповідь запрошує представників Національного Корпусу й полку АЗОВ на квітневий Безпековий форум у Любліні. 

Хорватія. 9 грудня 2017 р. на конференції в Католицькому університеті Загреба делегати Національного Корпусу обговорили перспективи створення життєздатного об’єднання європейських націй, спроможного не лише захистити національну ідентичність кожної з них, а й відновити лідерські позиції Європи в світі. За підсумками візиту, Національний Корпус домовився про співпрацю українських та хорватських ветеранів, зокрема, за підтримки бригадного генерала Бруно Зоріци-Зулу, який активно переймається перебігом військових дій на Сході України, та генерала Желько Гласновіча, який у мирний час відстоює хорватські національні інтереси в парламенті. Наразі вже йдуть перемовини щодо проведення Четвертої конференції з Інтермаріуму (2019) в Загребі.

Балтія. Взимку 2018 р. незмінні союзники України, держави Балтії, відзначили сторіччя здобутої у ході боротьби з більшовиками незалежності, замислюючись про шляхи її збереження. Національний Корпус охоче відгукнувся на запрошення балтійських партнерів відвідати міжнародні заходи на честь святкової річниці та, користуючись моментом, презентував проект «Інтермаріум» в Естонії, а згодом і в Литві. 

У Вільнюсі численна делегація партії провела серію заходів, присвячених оборонній та геополітичній темам. Вже в квітні було реалізовано спільний литовсько-український проект із висадки понад 2000 литовських дубів на острові Хортиця на знак пошани до подвигу героїв російсько-української війни та всіх борців за незалежність Литви та України, а в травні литовські військові привітали полк АЗОВ з його четвертою річницею в Бердянську. 

У вересні 2018 р. Національний Корпус виступив у низці заходів у посольстві України в Ризі та в культурному центрі м. Бауска, присвячених Міжмор’ю та латиському теоретику Інтермаріуму – генералу Петерісу Радзіньшу. 

Цього лютого представники Національного Корпусу знову відвідають Литву й Естонію, узявши участь у конференціях і маршах з нагоди чергової річниці незалежності цих країн, а латиський військовий експерт прочитає лекцію про розвиток тероборони солдатам полку АЗОВ.

Німеччина. У травні 2018 р. Національний Корпус продовжив презентацію проекту «Інтермаріум» на теренах Західної Європи, взявши участь у низці конференцій в різних містах Німеччини (Ризі, Галле, Дрездені). В лютому цього року відбудеться тематична зустріч з німецькою аудиторією в м. Пірна, приурочена до щорічних вшанувань німецьких героїв по всій країні.

Норвегія. 16 червня 2018 р. геополітичну програму Національного Корпусу було представлено на зустрічі з норвезькими націоналістами в Східній Норвегії неподалік від Осло, в ході якої, зокрема, обговорювалися можливості співпраці в оборонній та енергетичній сфері.

Only sovereign military forces will protect the Intermarium countries

Feb. 5, 2019 Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks was authorized by the government to sign a memorandum on the establishment of the Multinational Division Headquarters North. It will aslo be signed by Danish and Estonian Defense Ministries, as well as will be open for other allies, quite logically, above all, regional. Allies from Canada, Great Britain and Lithuania have also signed the agreement. The infrastructure at Ādaži base in Latvia is under construction.

While the Headquarters North is aimed at increasing the presence of NATO in the region under threat of the military buildup in the bordering Russian territories, it will enhance the defense coordination of the Intermarium region's countries and will develop practical framework for the planning of joint military operations (interaction of the officers, units and structures of different countries, military trainings and exchange of experience and so on). In this respect, it is quite similar to the tasks of existing LITPOLUKRBRIG (the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian multinational brigade). At some point, one could set a task of coordinating the military cooperation of two multinational brigades.

At the same time, the issue of the formal subordination of the LIPOLUKRBRIG was widely addressed at the Third Conference of the Intermarium Support Group which was held in Kyiv on Oct. 13, 2018. In short, conference participants were concerned about the inability to apply the military forces of this multinational brigade even in the peacemaking humanitarian missions in Donbas without the permission of the UN, EU and NATO. Croatian participants also made it clear that their path to victory lied through ignoring rather than taking into accout the will of the West. In this case, one could fairly ask: what's the point in regional military forces if the region has no geopolitical sovereignty to take decisions on its own about the necessary security measures?

In this respect, the founder of the Intermarium Support Group, MP Andriy Biletsky was wise enough not to vote today in favor of the legislative bill to amend the Constitution of Ukraine by adding there an artilce about Ukraine's strategic course to enter the EU and NATO, which he fairly labeled as laughable. Firstly, nobody welcomes Ukraine in these structures, secondly, they undergo an obvious crisis, thirdly, the Constitution regulates universal matters of state importance, and a respectable country would never perpetuate in the Constitution temporary and even more so collapsing foreign political structures.

Last but not least, the 1994 Budapest memorandum under which Ukraine renounced the third largest in the world nuclear potential in exchange for "security assurances" by the US, UK and Russia (later France and China added their signatures) learned a good lesson about the value of "international treaties" when one of the signatory countries, Russia, invaded Donbas and annexed Crimea under the silent observation of the West.

In this respect, two main things unite modern Ukraine and Japan: territorial claims to the Russian Federation which "owes" to Ukraine Crimea just like stolen back after the Second World War southern Kuril Islands to Japan, as well as the growing public requirement to restore the nuclear potential of these countries. Today, Feb. 7, 2019, which is the day of the Japan's Northern Territories, Ukrainian party of National Corps headed by the founder of the Intermarium Support Group Andriy Biletsky held a rally in solidarity with Japan in front of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs putting forward the demand to recognize the Russian Federation an occupier of the Kuril Islands.

The story which started in 2008 in Georgia, continued in 2014 in Ukraine and currently threatens with a "peaceful occupation" to Belarus, may be stopped only by means of the sovereign regional military forces. If nothing changes, multinational divisions and brigades that are subordinate to NATO, sooner or later, must allow Eastern and Central European states to secede and take a stand for freedom of their region.

Russian Kaliningrad-based organization, BARS, faces life sentence for DISCUSSING geopolitical cooperation of former Königsberg with Eastern Europe and Germany

July 3, 2016, Russian conservative organization named BARS (Baltic Avant-Garde of Russian Resistance) took part in the non-governmental conference of the Intermarium Support Group at which its representative, young Igor Ivanov, discussed the prospects for geopolitical cooperation between the Kaliningrad region and the future Baltic-Black Sea Union (http://thenewnationalism.com/2016/07/27/inaugural-conference-intermarium-development-assistance-group-held-kyiv/).

The same month, BARS launched the petition to restore the German title of the city of Kaliningrad - Königsberg. 

As a result, charged with making deaths threats against Russian president Vladimir Putin, as well as distributing "extremist materials," members of this conservative, basically, monarchist organization, were detained by the FSB in 2017 and currently face life sentences as a dangerous "terrorist organization."

The leader of the BARS, 30-year-old Alexandr Orshulevich, graduated from the Philosophical Department of the Faculty of History of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. His final qualifying work was called "The Vision of Russia in the Socio-Philosophical Reflection of V. Schubart and L. Müller." Alexandr has a wife, Vanda Orshulevich, and 4 little children: 2, 4, 6 and 8 years old.

Needless to say, when it comes to "securing the democratic rights of Ukrainians" by invading Donbas and annexing Crimea, Russian authorities instantly change the rhetoric and approaches.

Third Congress of National Corps: main messages

The leader of National Corps Andriy Biletsky will not take part in the presidential election. He announced it on January 25, 2019 at the Third All-Ukrainian Congress of National Corps.

🔹 "I refuse to take part in this farce. When everything is turned upside down, when the clowns go into politics and politicians have long become clowns, when the main benefactors of the army steal the military budget and cash in on soldiers while tens of thousands of real veterans are imprisoned, in times like this, it's an absurdity to comfort your ego," Biletsky is convinced.

🔸 According to the leader of NС, at this time it is better to undertake real tasks instead of pleasing one's ego. The funds that could be spent on a presidential campaign will be used for the development of youth, movement and the army.

🔹 "In 66 days in Ukraine will start the first round of Ukrainian election. You know, many expected that we would take ten millions of dollars from a wealthy sponsor who would portray us as a considerable resource of man power. That we would invest them in advertising, billboards, etc., receive our interest and go home. Many had such expectations - most political analysts and so on," he said.

🔸At the same time, Andriy Biletsky stressed that National Corps has an ambitious goal: to form its own faction in the Verkhovna Rada as a result of the future parliamentary elections.

🔹 "We're going to get a huge faction in the Ukrainian parliament  in 2019. What tasks should this faction set for itself? First of all, it should be a barrier, like in 2014 blockposts prevented the spread of the infection of separatism across the country. The faction of National Corps should be the blockpost against selling away the country in the parliament. It should bring up the personnel reserves of the national government, and this time will definitely come. Today - the control over the authorities, in order to become the power of tomorrow ourselves. This is the task of the parliamentary faction. And, thirdly, it certainly gives the opportunity to implement our plans. So we have no other option but to go forward, move and win in this direction," said the leader of National Corps. ----

Andriy Biletsky, leader of National Corps, will not waste time and renome on the staged presidential "election"

January 25, 2019, in the course of the III All-Ukrainian Congress of National Corps, Andriy Biletsky, the party leader, the founder and the first commander of the Azov Regiment, MP, has announced his long-anticipated political will regarding the upcoming presidential election in spring: not to take part in this "farce."

Several preliminary remarks to clarify this decision. Since the electoral victory of the current Ukraine's president Petro Poroshenko, it has become obvious that the Maidan Revolution, more precisely, its initial phase, the overthrow of Victor Yanukovych's regime, neither changed the political system in Ukraine, nor made new faces in Ukrainian politics truly influential. Poroshenko is a man of the establishment, in the past, closely related to Yanukovych, an oligarch viewing Ukraine just an extension of his personal confectionery business. Another candidate who is likely to contest Poroshenko's stay in power in the second tour is a long-discredited but rich populist Yulia Tymoshenko known for her Kremlin ties. Finally, third most popular candidate is Volodymyr Zelensky, a comedian and a protégé of another oligarch Igor Kolomoisky intedning to take away some votes from Poroshenko.

"When clowns go into politics, and politicians have long become the clowns," Andriy Biletsky underlined, his presidential campaign would be only a waste of time and resource on the eve of the autumnal parliamentary election, which he considers a priority for National Corps.

The leader of National Corps made it clear that the Azov Movement, named after its renowned military wing, goes far beyond the format of a regular political party, in fact, continuing the mission of armed Ukrainian patriots of the former century who fought for independence in the wake of the First World War. The Congress took place at the Palace of Sports where some days ago was held a congress of Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) party, barely accommodating those representatives of National Corps' who have managed to arrive in the capital from all over Ukraine. In other words, National Corps is perfectly competitive but, at this stage, prefers investing its material and human resource into other projects and spheres.

In this context, it is also important to emphasize that the collapsed alliance of Ukrainian nationalist forces has nothing to do with the decision of Andriy Biletsky. Since the very beginning, as a far-sighted and realistic politician, he showed much bigger interest in the parliamentary election suggesting the allies to form a unified nationalist front to particiapte in it. In this case, he was even ready to support the candidacy of Oleg Tiagnybok, the leader of Svoboda party which has over 15 years of parliamentary experience. However, the unified party has not been formed, and the Svoboda party put forward the candidacy of lesser known Ruslan Koshulynsky, which made Andriy Biletsky return to his own political strategy. Ambitions of National Corps, as the Ukrainian nationalist movement with the biggest growth dynamics, target the entire political spectrum and system, which explains the character, and the horizon, of its recent political moves.

From Acca Larentia to Deputy Premier Salvini: CasaPound's Merit?

January 7, 2019 the most famous Italian right-wing movement, CasaPound Italia, once again performed an honorable role of the recognized guardian of the Acca Larentia annual rite bridging the struggle of Italian nationalists in the Years of Lead to their modern successors' activities.

In far 1978, on this day happened a terror attack on activists of Youth Front of The Italian Social Movement, which was carried out by leftist extremists around their headquarters. Two of them, Franco Bigonzetti, aged 20, and Francesco Ciavatta, only 18 years old, died on spot of gunshot wounds. Third member, 19-year-old Stefano Recchioni, was killed by a policeman (who has never been charged with murder) during the riots in the aftermath of the attack.

A plaque at the site, which reads "Murdered by communist hatred and the servants of the state," sums up pretty well a huge blow dealt to the leftist mantra about the unspoken alliance between "cops and fascists, dogs of the regime" as a result of this event. However, Acca Larentia marches have become an all-Italian sacramental rite only thanks to the organization capacities and spirit of CasaPound Italia which annually gathers the participants not only from all over Italy but also the entire world.

This time, supporters from France, Quebec, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Czech Republic, Greece and many other countries arrived to Rome to join the powerful Italian "Presente!" choir in response to triple "Onore ai camerati caduti!" (Honour to fallen comrades) chant. Some countries were even represented by several movements (Der III. Weg and identitarians from Germany, National Corps and Karpatska Sich from Ukraine). Again, thanks to the international fame of CasaPound Italia, the authentic headquarters of Youth Front with well-preserved nationalist-themed graffiti from the 70-s, at which the ceremony took place, has turned into a genuine shrine of the paneuropean political resistance.

The party and the movement of CasaPound Italia has always been in the center of attention of European nationalists, identitarians, third positionists and those on the alternative Right. Since recently, Italy has hit the headlines as a Western European country where the right-populist forces in the person of Matteo Salvini decisively came to power.

One may only speculate about the real relation between Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini and CasaPound Italia. Although CPI and Lega Nord did enter the tactical alliance, and in the not so distant past Salvini could be spotted at the events of CasaPound Italia, this connection is more obvious, and more interesting, in another sense.

It is widely known that Matteo Salvini came to power on the wave of the refugee and economic crisis in the EU. However, previously, he was far more obsessed with the separatist scenario for Northern Italy, quickly dropping this program and renaming the party as simply "Lega" on the eve of 2018 election. Mainstream media often mentioned another major winner in the election, The Five Star Movement co-founded by a former Italian comedian Beppe Grillo, as a coalition political force sharing and reinforcing The League's euroscepticism. At the same time, the real pioneers of the anti-EU politics in Italy, CasaPound, remained in the shadow.

In this respect, the post-election situation in Italy largely resembles the immediate political results of the Maidan revolution in Ukraine. Nationalists heading and organizing street protests in revolutionary Ukraine should unequivocally be credited for overthrowing Yanukovych's regime, yet the power was usurped by the "patriotic" liberal opposition constantly booed by the national revolutionaries. It is true that influence and opportunities of the nationalist movement in Ukraine significantly increased, but the price for this transformation was the takeover of the populist patriotic agenda by the liberals and even pre-revolutionary oligarchs who try to marginalize real historical agents by other means.

Depending on the perspective, many either spread rumors about fake Ukrainian nationalists backed up by the government, either label Ukraine a country run by Neo-Nazis. Both extremes are false and reflect the complex process of entering the next phase of the incomplete revolution when the nationalist subject alters its strategy while striving for power on the surface.

Returning to the Italian case, all main political slogans which brought popular sympathies to Salvini were put forward by CasaPound Italia: "Italy First!", which was previously considered "fascist," firmly replaced Salvini's separatist threats; an anti-refugee stance of CPI, which once attacked a refugee center inhabitants of which caused trouble for the locals, is overshadowed by fresh news about the migrant rescue boats rejected by a new security expert Salvini; spectacular anti-EU rallies of CPI members, who were taking down the EU flags from the administrative buildings while wearing masks painted in national colors of Italy and carrying the ropes around their necks, have become an official Italian policy.

These parallels were confirmed and highlighted by Alberto "Zippo" Palladino, CasaPound's longtime member and foreign correspondent, during his speech at the Second Paneuropa conference in Kyiv on October 15, 2018.

Simultaneously, the Italian side of this comparison also sheds light on the possible changes in the political course of the current Ukrainian authorities, for the populist promises of Salvini were not lasting. Soon enough, he assured the world that he was against "Italexit," preparing to operate within Steve Bannon's alliance of right-populist forces of Europe.

Another recent political move by Salvini is more praiseworthy: during his January trip to Poland, he suggested PiS, the ruling Polish party, to replace the dominant "Germany-France" axis in the EU with a new geopolitical axis, "Italy-Poland," thus making a long-anticipated Western European response to the Intermarium geopolitical initiative. In this respect, Salvini's inconsistency when it comes to the seeming departure from pro-Putin policies, or at least refraining from apparent pro-Kremlin lobbyism, was very timely.

Italian Premier Conte's refusal to veto the prolongation of Russia sanctions, as suggested by Salvini, and the arrest of Italian mercenaries fighting alongside Putin-backed invaders in Donbas in August 2018, when Salvini has already become Interior Minister, was a clear warning to him that this agenda was not as popular among the Italians as fiscal independence from the EU. Poland, which was ready to implement new sanctions against Russia in response to the crisis in the Sea of Azov, as well as withdrew problematic "Ukraine nationalists" provision from the recent "Law on the Institute of National Remembrance," will hardly tolerate pro-Putin sympathies of a possible Italian ally.

CasaPound Italia, "Rome" of modern European nationalist movements of the third millennium, or even supranationalist ones given that this Italian community has managed to bring the paneuropean and metapolitical dimension to the movement that has gained political fame thanks to its economic and social initiatives after the successful squatting of the building in the center of Rome, future (Ezra) "Pound's House."

This presentation of CasaPound Italia was made in 2016 and was broadcast at the opening of the Cossack House in Kyiv, the youth center of the Azov Movement hosting the gym, recording studio, art school, metapolitical Plomin Club and more, which was modelled after CasaPound Italia.
