careful-justice:
Honestly? She shouldāve been happy to hear some sort of noise around here. Or maybe afraid due to the rarity of it. For the most part, the only noise she would ever hear was the ones originating from her own footsteps whenever she would decide to move around. It was a bit unnerving sometimes, but it wasnāt as if there was anything else here that she was supposed to be worried about, right?
But no, all that she heard was the sound of crying, and that never meant anything good. She could remember she cried a little bit too after the impact of the last bomb that sheād mistakenly shot hit her too hard and too fast to keep on living. Yet that wasnāt important right now, what was important was who was crying, and what could she do to help? It was the only fair thing to do, since she didnāt want to have anyone feel the same loneliness sheād felt all this time.
Looking around a bit, it wasnāt all that hard to spot the younger girl, since everything else around here was black and empty. Once noticing the integrity soul, she went right up to her, trying to figure out what she was supposed to say, and getting down on one knee to say it once she knew.
āHey there, younginā. Whatās the matter? Are ya okay..?ā
ā ā Specklesā body quakes with each breath, pulling her arms around herself as sobs die down into frightful whimpers. She thought she was supposed to be DEAD. That was what the fish told her. Speckles had to die so all of the monsters could be one step closer to being FREE.
Ā Ā Ā The child peeked through her hands, flinching away from the JUSTICE soul for a moment. This child seemed FRIENDLY. She sniffed again, wiping her tears from her face. Her lip still QUIVERED. A tiny hand reached out and pointed at herself, digging into her chest.Ā
Ā Ā Ā ā Dead? ā She questioned, patting her chest again. Speckles didnāt know how to DESCRIBE what was wrong. She just wanted to know how she was here. She looked around for a moment, pulling her hands to her chest and shaking them, making the sign for COLD.Ā ā Sā dark. Sā cold.Ā ā
