I think so much of Seb is tied into, "I'm going on this tour to bond with my daughter." And so not at all even remotely pointing to, maybe I'll meet someone. He seems content to be in his role as a father so much that the idea of any romance in this setting may make him go. "Oh. THIS IS NOT THE TIME." like he would have preferred to meet via friends at a barbeque or at like a school event. But it'll be interesting seeing a different side to him because of that.

that's a good point! plus mc canonically intimidates him so 😭 seb finds them and their life too cool and over the top that he gets freaked out by it (not in a bad way, more in a "im out of my depth here" way)

Is the sub-romance entirely at your mercy or are there choices we can make that effect the type of ending we get with them? As in, they always had a predetermined ending but we can choose how we get there and how that ending feels if that makes sense.

Every sub-romance has about 1/2 critical choices that will impact their endings but other than that, every other choice you make has no impact on their endings. So just do what you want aha

ahh yeah, tbh I dont get much asks about him and when I do, it's one or two amongst so many questions about the other ROs that it's easy to miss it. he's also the character MC knows the least in the story I think so it makes sense :) it will definitely change once more chapters are released and there's more to say about Seb!

I think that’s up to MC to decide! I do think G and MC have very strong musical chemistry and would get along well in any other circumstance. G is a character that works well with any kind of MC to me. But I don’t make that decision!

Not the same anon!! But since the last ask mentioned this, you know ngl, one of my fears for the story was romancing (or trying to lol) seven and then arriving at the fight chapter and be put off for what was said between them and mc, and since the chapter happen later on in the story (right?), it could be too late to try and switch for another RO.

I read the rewrite and I'm kinda sensing where the fight will lead and now I'm less worried about it :>

Yes! It's natural for a writer to have some blinders sometimes and the feedback I got def made me realize that it's better to offer some crumbs as the story progresses so the "coveted fight" doesn't feel like wading through murky waters with no flashlight aha. at least now you can come into it with more info and have more agency and understand MC's perspective much easier, which also makes it easier to decide how you want to approach the seven/band plot line. This is why I love feedback! I wouldn't have realized otherwise :)

hahaha yeah, I suppose so! that's just the nature of IF sometimes...ahhh the limitations...though I do hope I can at least make sense of it no matter what kind of MC you play....in some way! we'll see! and thank you! <3

Will we ever get to see how THE fight between 7 and mc actually went??

I can't stop thinking about what they could've said that was so awful 😭😭

yes it used to be that you had to wait for the chapter that revolves around that but the new rewrite has it that you will be able to sort of..build the night through flashbacks/memory scenes and your choices within those flashbacks/memories, and when the fight chapter finally arrives, your choices will be codified in the story.

it helps give you guys context in your approach to that situation and doesn't leave the reader completely in the dark and relieves me of the responsibility of writing something that may be "out of character" for everyone's MC lol <3
