Ugh all I can think about is James so here's some of my James-Par Headcannons I WILL be writing a fic about him at some point

James is the true mom friend. Cliff is definitely up there, but he's got nothing on James.

James, who permanently remains a beacon of comfort and trust amongst the others, the person they can always go to

James, buying them lunch during exams to make sure they eat.

Crium has a panic attack on a mission, after a close call or an unpleasant trigger, and James sits with him, counting so he can match his breaths. He gives him water afterwards.

Matt broke down in their room one night after Nathan left and James held him close until he calmed down.

They've never spoken of these interactions afterwards, but James never treated them any different.

As an addict, Damon would never feel comfortable taking medications, especially ones that achieve essentially the same thing he already had with less life threatening side effects. He also values therapy because he was forced into it and found the value of it because he always had someone to bitch to and now they were helping him deal with it. On the other hand, Cliff values medication over therapy because he grew up in an environment where it was easier for everyone to stay quiet on your emotions, but the people around him, including him, also used alcohol and drugs to cope. Damon will always come off his meds but he'll beg Cliff to try therapy and Cliff will refuse without hesitation but beg him to see how much his meds are helping him.

After he left, Damon's mom would only ever see his smile in his pictures and she probably hasn't seen it before that. not really.

Amanda didn't know where he'd gone either. he just left one day and never spoke to her again.

Celia was never, ever, held accountable for what she did to Damon

Ryan would always choose drugs over Damon

Ryan probably got Damon into a lot of dangerous situations and Damon never spoke up

Damon was still in highschool when Ryan died. he was seventeen when he moved across the country. He was still just a kid when he lost everything he'd ever known and he was still a kid when he built his life back up again

Had Jack not gotten into contact with him, Damon might have never actually known him. He was ten when Damon left. Damon never really interacted with him.

Damon would never remember his childhood even if he wasn't an addict. He'd probably just forget it all anyway.

Damon likes cats more than dogs because he's just like cats and dogs are the opposite of that

He really enjoyed literature. English classes. Reading. He forgot about that, too.
