I thought Kaede would be in a debut with Shuichi and Kokichi, but at the last minute Sibling Angst kicked in so here she is with her sister Kaori(written 芳) and her Shadow Mistress Clara. I chose the names Sofi(e) and Clara as they're very "classical" European names. I wanted Clara's dress to be pretty provocative but still match Sofi's, but I think she looks a bit like a clown with the collar. The black " belt" isn't a belt and is showing their midriffs which doesn't really match the Victorian Kid's aesthetic but neither does Edward's suit...so...yeah.

Clara, Sofi, Kaede, and Kaori just think the two living dolls were made to look similar, I guess. Clara and Kaori will likely not have enough of a connection and prioritize their image in front of the adults more than actually finishing, resulting in them failing the debut. Even though Sofi and Kaede don't know it then, once they figure out Kaede is human and Kaori is a faceless doll, I can vouch their reunion will be very complicated.

This one would be....fun.

Octavius, Vivian, and Miriam(I changed Vivienne to Vivian because I thought it fit Angie better) are probably the most eccentric, problematic chaos shadows so..I can see a lot of things happening here. Octavius would sabotage, lie, and murder to pass the debut first. Vivian would likely be super haughty/klutzy and end up passing through a stroke of luck. Miriam would have to be pulled through by Maki to stop being sidetracked by all that Juicy Drama.

These kids probably--no, definitely-- blew the maze up and walked out completely unscathed, courtesy of Marcelina and Ryder making an interesting enough soot explosion. Amethyst went from "I don't think that's a good idea.." to "DISCOURSE! DISCOURSE!" real quick.

I changed a few of the kids' outfits because the old designs were so outdated. I watched Shadow's House again and am in love with Maryrose's outfit, but I can't give any of the girls pants without them looking like a copycat(cries).

Ship Name meanings Pt 4!

Kuzupeko : Another request!  九頭辺古 means "nine heads near the old" which makes no sense whatsoever, but is the coolest collection of kanji ever.

Celesgami: Celes is in kanji and there is no meaning, but the kami in Togami means god and セレス神 literally means "Celes is god".

Akanidai: 赤弐大 means Second Large Red. I originally thought the Nidai in Nekomaru Nidai meant "The Second" so this was a bit of a surprise for me when I was looking it up.

I literally put it in Pt 3 but I thought the Peko referred to the Peko in her first name, which is katakana: ペコ which has no meaning but then I did a bit more research and realized that the Peko means the Peko in her last name which DOES HAVE A MEANING! So I'll put it in the next list when I think of a couple more to do.

Ship Name Meanings Pt 3!

Naejunko: This was requested! The ship name is a bit weird cuz it's last name X first name but it would be 苗盾子, which means something along the lines of "plant shield".

Ishimondo: An often fan favorite I overlooked last time.石紋土 is the same as the former ship as its last name X first name, which is strange that it happened twice but okay I guess. It means "dirt pattern in stone" which sort of refers to the fact that Mondo chipped a little off of Taka and relaxed him.

Tenmiko:  転密子 means "tripping hidden child". I cannot elaborate on that. It's just really weird.

Ship name meanings Pt 2 since people liked the first one

Okay this is for the Saiouma shippers in kanji it's 最王馬 which means final horse king which is like the end of a dynasty of horses which is hilarious

Naegiri is 苗切 means “cutting the sapling” which is a little sad because what did the little baby tree ever do to you

Komahina is a little weird because Hinata is split into 2 kanji "Hi" and "Nata" and the cutoff is weird but it would be spelled 狛日向 which means something along the lines of "beast facing the sun"

Kaimaki is  解魔姫 which just means "Understanding the Demon Princess" or just "Understanding Maki" The ship in a nutshell I guess

Allow me to ramble about my new pregame fic.

It's what you would see in every stereotypical pregame fic, I guess, but I decided to add some humble Government Corruption.

Everyone is vastly different to what they were in the game. Different names. Different stories. None of them really know each other. They know nothing about the truth of the Popular TV Show, Danganronpa.

I thought that blaming a bunch of stupid, irresponsible teenagers for deciding to make the decision to just...die was irrealistic

AND WHERE ARE THE PARENTS???

So I thought adding a layer of complexity that puts this gory TV show apart from regular reality TV might be interesting. Everyone is going to be here, and so far I have a glimmer of a plot and 5 sad little teenagers.

For the first debut, I remember one of the 3rd floor members mentioning that passing four pairs was subpar, so was there another pair that failed that debut or was the debut only with 4 pairs?

Any ideas for the 3rd floor in your shadows house au?

When I was designing the Shadows House, I did something really stupid and made DR1 the adults and the DR2 participants star bearers and team leaders, even though they're technically older. It's so deeply rooted into my brain that I don't think I can rectify it. I think that Junko will be the Great Grandmother, tho.

I wonder what that debut was like, the one with Cameron/Kiibo, Sky/Tenko, Atlas/Kaito, and Briar/Kirumi

If you consider the rules of the first debut(the one with kate and Emilico), I think that it'll go pretty smoothly. I chose them to be the first debutants because their powers really complement each other. I think that Kaito will try and lead all of them to find the fetes after Kiibo almost swallows one, and then they sort of do their own thing after they get into the maze. The order they pass will probably be Briar->Cameron->Atlas->Sky(who Tenko carried on the run back)

The Killing Game Students in the debut---Pt 1

Why did I decided to draw the ppl with the weirdest hairstyles(the ones who would definitely no fit inside the veil-hat) first...

Since having 16 debutants at once is rather strange, I think they'd go in as small groups depending on their maturity. I don't think anyone would fail from this class since all of them are pretty capable, while shy and tenacious Sky might have some close calls.
