Apparently Immortal Hulk is pretty good and Hickmans X men aint that bad so far. But Ewing Hulk is miles ahead of anything in the Big Two. Would happily suggest checking it out.

Did you see Leviathan Dawn #1? (Wouldn’t blame your if you didn’t). The credits page has this really jarring out of place text/font. It looked like a meme image.

Would the comics scene be better if it took clues from the codes of Franco-Belgian comics (~60-page hardcovers as the dominant medium, full artistic control, close to no censorship of mature elements, diversity of genres beyond superheroes, diversity of episodicity from a few pages to multiple volumes per storyline, no real distinction between political cartoonists, comic strips writers, and comic book writers, being called "the ninth art") ?

Better in what way specifically? Diversity of genre and format would be much needed, to be sure, to be better in quality, but better in sales is a question of distribution and finding people willing to pay for what you’re producing, something that unfortunately, seems to be rapidly shrinking also in European markets. If people have twitter, I would suggest giving a read to this disheartening dissection by artists Stephanie Hans, who is french but works mostly on american/marvel stuff

Mad Magic comes back with a few changes: to ensure myself I no longer run out of steam, and then end up having hiatuses going from “brief” to “nearly two months +”, I will work on producing just one page a week. That way, I believe I’ll mantain a continous, steady stream, until we reach the end, with no pauses in between! Thank you for following me so far, and I hope you’ll continue to support my efforts!

So, couple things. First, were you aware of a similar series called I Don't Need Your Civil War by MightyGodKing? You've probably gotten the same request a few (read: million) times before, but I'd still recommend it. Second, big fan of your work. As someone who finds DC and Marvel's comic continuities an absurd mess even at the best of times, it's always good to see people mock what's worth mocking. Keep up the good work.

Haven’t been to a storytime in a long time, but it fills me in equal parts with a weird sense of joy, pride and shame. Hopefully it’s not just a single anon doing that though.

I know you're not exactly reading Carol's comics but I assume you're kind of in the loop? What do tou think of the upcoming evil dark Captain Marvel design? So grimdark.

Actually I didn’t know anything about it, I’m completely out of the loop. You made me go and check out what’s going on Anon.

The costume reminds me half of a Sith Lord and half Wraith, that guy from Annihilation Conquest. The eyeliner is kinda laughable, but I don’t hate it, dumb but fun.

Can’t wait to NOT read it.
