Watching his company lean back in such a manner had made him kinda on edge, Mutsuki-- being the type to usually worry-- would be a bit over protective, even though they just met. The male had made a connection with Juuzou from the even before they had started their little conversation; Juuzou was talked about about in the CCG about his behavior and his abilities, he was happy to finally meet him.

His lips forming a small smile, he seemed to be very pleasant around the other, maybe he'll speak to him a bit more in the farther future. "Oh, I have another question-- how did you get your stitches?"

   Leaning back a bit more, it appeared as though the boy was about to fall right over, though miraculously, he remained relatively upright. As for Tooru’s reminiscing, the investigator wasn’t exactly one to judge. Suzuya had his own fair share of skeletons in his closet, so to speak.
