how to feel alive again

walk barefoot in the grass, wriggle your toes, remember how the grass feels. Put your shoes back on and continue with your day.

Go outside at night, look at the moon and yell; yell as loud as you can. The moon is listening to you, it’s okay.

Lay in bed staring at the ceiling before sleeping, think about everything good in your life. Positive thoughts lead to a positive sleep.

Stick your head out the car window when driving at night, play music as loud as you can. Feel the music, feel the wind, feel free.

Touch objects that contain happy memories, remeber how it felt back then.

Scream song lyrics in the shower, have your own disco in the bathroom. Feel happy in your own company.

Don’t be afraid to do the things you love; draw, write, dance, sing, paint, the possibilities are endless.

Listen to your childhood songs.

Go to the beach, and sprint along the sand. Run as fast as you can, don’t look back.

Dress in your style, wear your hair how you like it, be yourself.

Connect with new people, start new relationships that allow you to feel new.

Have an early sleeping and waking up schedule. Wake up early enough to look at the sunrise in awe.

Walk out the door and breathe in the air, smile, lock the door shut and walk away towards a new day with new possibilities.
