Hello! I stumbled upon your work (I've been rewatching HxH after all these years and now I'm totally hyperfixating lol) and followed your Patreon link for "eight years from now, by the sea..." But there was a post from last year asking ppl not to sub? So now I'm wondering if I still can or if you've stopped accepting subscriptions? I really wanna read your work but not sure if you're still active. Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you have an awesome day!

Hi! You totally still can, but know that I haven't been producing fanfic lately, as I took a full-time position and I haven't had time. I haven't been charging anybody monthly, as I've been pausing the payments each month, so just paying the (as of the moment) one-time fee will get you access to everything, pretty much. If I closed the Patreon so it wouldn't charge anymore, people would lose access to what's already been posted, so I just keep pausing the monthly payments so everybody who is a Patreon has access still lol That said, I do have 2 more HxH pieces coming that were commissioned! So new things will be coming ^_^

Summary: Gon... rejects Killua. He doesn't want to, doesn't mean to, but it's the truth. He doesn't feel that way for him. So why then, is everything in him hurting now that Killua has confessed? Why can't he stop staring at him? Why does Killua smiling at anyone else make him want to die?

OR Killua finally confesses, Gon turns him down, and the resulting fallout.

“I guess you met with your friend again today, huh?” His voice came out sounding level– suspiciously so, if he had to admit it, because Killua raised an eyebrow at him, hand half-raised to scratch at his neck pausing.

“Hm? Oh, yeah, I guess.” What a noncommittal answer. If he’d gone and seen that kid again, he wished Killua would just say it. It’s not like he’d try to intervene. Probably. Even he wasn’t sure. He’d never run into this sort of problem before. His fists clenched harder, somehow, hard enough that he worried Killua would notice the way his skin split under his fingernails. He could already smell it on himself, the blood drawn by his own hand. He felt the scar around his arm twitch.

“Are you still going to talk to him after we leave?”

Killua shuffled from one foot to another, eyes gazing distantly at the polished tile floor of the lobby. The hand that’d paused before was now wrapped firmly around the back of Killua’s neck, unmoving, awkward at its sideways angle.

“I dunno’, maybe? He’s not exactly a hunter.”

I love how, like, when the Adventure Time staff was sketching out the plot of “Rainy Day Daydream”, there was probably someone who was like  “ehh, would Finn and Jake really the kind to stay indoors just because of some rain?”

A not-as-casual reminder that after Ikumi-sensei's unexpected passing, the staff working on TMMN outright stated that they would respect the many efforts she contributed to the anime's production/story and thus, not stray too far from her work's canon. Pass it on.
