Even if I didn’t have a solid plan, in the back of my head, I always assumed I’d kill myself.

Now I’m an adult and people my age have their lives in order and I’m stuck here, confused, because I never planned to be alive and I’m so far behind.

I feel like I’ll never catch up.

#honestly #same #when i was 10 i thought i'd be dead by 14 #when i was 14 i thought i'd be dead by 18 #when i was 18 i thought i'd be dead by 25 #by 25 i was actually having a decent time being alive! #and yeah i'm still an autistic piece of shit and i find being normal and making friends and whatnot really difficult #but i got my high school diploma and a uni diploma and i have actual hobbies now #i've had shitty dead-end jobs and jobs related to my degree and i've done okay to well in all of them! #that was a big thing for me as a kid. being worried that i'd literally never be good at anything including like wiping the tables at mcd #and even if i've never had a bigger friend group i /have/ consistently had multiple friends i could rely on for years now #and i've gotten to do so much cool stuff! and i genuinely want to do more! #and i don't think i don't deserve good things happening to me anymore or second-guess myself every time i have a positive thought! #stuff is so much better that i ever thought it could be as a kid #so. so much better. #it's great.

I have questions about shaving

#i voted for “im a woman and i dont shave” but like. #now that i think about it that's not really true and i do wonder if the way people were socialized influences their responses #like. i don't shave my legs. and that immediately felt like “not shaving” to me when talking about women #i do however shave my armpits occasionally (like 1-2 a month so i can get quite a lot of hair in between - i am fairly hairy for a girl lol #and i shave my otherwise very visible peach fuzz/moustache and my unibrow like once a week #and while i don't shave my private parts i do keep the hair relatively short and groomed #like... is that shaving? is it not? #i used to shave my arms and my legs including thighs and feet and my stomach #because i got bullied for having body hair as a kid and i was very self conscious about it #so what i do now is very different #but if a guy came up to me and said he shaves his facial hair and his pits i might be like... dude yeah you shave

FASCINATING to me that in lashing out against the skua, a symbol of Revachol, Harry also destroys a symbol of reality itself. Not only that, but the discovery of the Insulinde that the skua represents is what leads to the proclamation of Her Innocence Dolores Dei. It's truly everything Harry is trying to run away from, all tied up in one neat little bow.

So he fucks it up, he destroys that reality, and then, ta-da! Mission accomplished Harry-boy, you wake up in a hostel room and can't remember shit. It's all gone. You got rid of it.
