Health-care costs are nuts because....

The big problem with health-care costs is not insurance companies; it's the medical industry itself. My wife is a nurse, and she told me that a simple IV drip of saline solution, which is just salt and water, nothing else, is $900. NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS! That's not the insurance company Jewing the customer out of money; that's the hospital. It is immoral, absolutely sick, that a bag of salt water should cost $900.

Democracy is crap

Democracy puts every whim of the people, every fleeting urge of debauchery, up to a vote. Every democratic country will decay from immorality eventually, because people are immoral and will always vote in accordance with their immoral desires.

The best and shortest argument I ever heard against democracy was something like, "If democracy is so good, start with your own family." That would be terrible, wouldn't it? The parents letting the kids vote on family policy? But a family is fascist and socialist. There is a hierarchy, there's a head, and the head makes decisions, with advisement from the wife (the husband being the head, the wife being the neck).

Don't Take the Knee, Take their Money

The NFL is spoiled black men being worshiped as gods by the middle-class white people they hate. And lately, those black people have been kneeling during the National Anthem before games to protest what they claim is this country's practice of oppressing black people. The first player to do this was Colin Kaepernick, a black guy whose net worth is $116 million. His is the type of oppression we can only dream about one day experiencing.

Over the past year, more and more black players, along with a smattering of white players who want to be liked by the black players, began kneeling during the National Anthem. Now, I have a hard time getting worked up over what position somebody's body is in when he listens to the anthem. Personally, the only reason I stand for it on public occasions is to avoid getting dirty looks, even though, in general, I really, really don't like being in an upright position at any time.

“TakeTheKnee” was trending on Twitter yesterday, with mainly black people expressing how virtuous they are for kneeling during the theme-song of this crappy country, and of course conservatives were getting upset about it. What conservatives were not upset about, though, and what they never have been upset about, was the fact that people get paid tens of millions of dollars to throw and catch a ball while there are still 1.5 million homeless people in the United States. If they ever dare get upset about that, they risk tempting the wrath of their Free Market gods.

There are about 2,000 players in the NFL, with the average yearly salary of each player being $1.9 million. Multiply $1.9 million by those 2,000 players, and you have a total of $3,392,000,000 (3.39 billion dollars). That's enough money to provide 100,000 of our homeless people with a comfortable stipend of almost $34,000 to live off of for a year, or 169,000 of our homeless $20,000 for a year (living in a trailer park would be better than homelessness, after all).

But Colin Kaepernick—I'm using him as the mascot of spoiled black people everywhere—prefers to keep his millions and claim he is oppressed. If he's not claiming he is oppressed, he's claiming black people in general are oppressed. But wouldn't that imply that the NFL commissioner and managers and coaches somehow failed to notice that 70% of their players are black, and that, had they noticed, they would have oppressed them rather than hiring them?

The problem, as I see it, with kneeling for the National Anthem is not that black players are breaking the anthem rules. In fact, if these people hate the country so much, why should we expect them to stand for its anthem? Standing should be a willful act of respect, otherwise standing is just forced and therefore phony. If you don't like the country overall, then fine, don't stand. The problem with this whole kneeling business is that blacks have gotten way too spoiled; that white people will continue to worship and indirectly pay the black athletes that hate them; and that sports are considered of greater importance than 1.5 million homeless.

Stop paying these people who hate you. That means stop paying the NFL, which means stop paying NFL sponsors. And it definitely means stop going to the games. This is no sacrifice to me in the first place, since I've hated sports for about 20 years now, but for those of you who would pay to go to a game, don't. Instead, take that $100 you spent on your ticket, or your $50 or your $200, and buy some food for some homeless people. The millionaires who throw a ball for a living don't need more money.
