If you're a creator and you needed to hear this today:

You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.

People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.

My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

probably seems obvious at this point, but just to let people know anyway:

i am unsure if i will be writing again, i am constantly having to write stuff for uni and therefore am so burnt out that i don’t really get the urge to write anymore (much less deal with 174983 different ways to try and get fluff to not feel repetitive). not super active with kpop stuff due to being busy, and just overall don’t feel like doing much because of school and my mental health. i’m sorry this blog (and my writing blogs in general) were quite a let-down and that there wasn’t a whole lot that came out of these. i’ve had a lot of interesting dreams i would love to write about, but no time nor energy to do so anymore. don’t want to say this is an official goodbye or anything, because i might get a burst of creativity one day and decide to spontaneously write again (as was the typical schedule of my blogs anyway, lbr). but i do think me losing my blogs like 2 or 3 times so close to one another was the nail in the proverbial coffin, if i’m being honest. knowing that everything i worked hard for and spent ages formatting, writing, editing.... could be gone unapologetically, in just a moment’s notice. i don’t like w*ttpad and i’m not very familiar with much besides aff (which does have great formatting and such, tbch). however, we’ll see if and when i return, and if and when i return to creating any content, specifically. perhaps i should just stick to brief blurbs or simple bullet points rather than not being able to stop and fleshing out like 4k length fics every time i can’t sleep.

thank you lovelies all very much for your time here, for any love and support you’ve left. just wanted to express my gratitude for all the wonderful readers i’ve had or any friends i made along the way ♥ (even if i’m so bad at responding that i’ve probably lost them by now anyway..rip.) thank you to everyone who put up with the irregularity of posting, the random memes in the way, the lack of content and so forth. i am so so sorry i never got to finish the wayv fantasy series i was working on, or nyctophilia in general, or even the au’s i had lined up, like the promised pokemon au. (again, losing the blog mid-working on those just.. my anxiety peaked so bad upon losing them that i think that’s why i damn near avoid tumblr at this point.... just to prevent any collateral damage..)

if you’re ever about to comment on a writer’s work and think, oh, they probably know how good they are, you’re definitely wrong. every time a writer posts or publishes anything, no matter how many years they’ve been doing it and no matter how many readers they have, they are struck with the idea that perhaps they aren’t very good at all.

if you think you’re annoying for commenting, or that we won’t see your comments anyway, you’re wrong. we see your comments. we actively look for them. we are starved for them no matter how many we get. we remember them and they fuel us. leave comments, even if it’s just saying “oh i like this”. i see an “oh i like this” and my heart grows three times its size and i am seized with an urge to provide you more writing just to hear you say “oh i like this” again.

I've had some pretty funky dreams in my lifetime but especially so this year so like... am I 100% going to take advantage and try to write scenarios or at least bullet points based on them?? I will absolutely try my best to !!

Some have been real sweet, some were more on the suggestive side, but some were cool fantasy dreams so.. hell yeah, I can't wait! haha

✎ As an attempt to both thwart writer’s block and get back into writing once again, I decided to open this blurb side blog (my blogs are listed at the bottom of this post btw). I am still fairly unaccustomed to the timestamp style of writing, as I have typically only ever written long pieces before the inception of this blog. I hope you will bear with me as I work on my writing throughout this blog. (Is it weird to be worried about something as trivial as the timestamps?? Whoops,,) I am multifandom, and will write for whoever I feel inspired by at the moment…. though I have been heavily into NCT for awhile now.. so don’t be surprised if there’s a lot of those and then some haha,, probs 99% nct lol
