Cause after Yuri left the knights the lower quarters basically took him in and hes like the local guy part of their community and Yuri is actually a sweety and kind so I dont think it's just the girls in the lower quarters having a crush on him cause hes cool or "hot" that own guy in the bar or whatever that was admitted there was a girl who came in with long hair but it turns out it was just a dude which I always assumed it was Yuri, the lower quarter people really loved Yuri and had good banter with him I needed to pitch the idea to you

in general i think it's likely that yuri was more popular in the lower quarter than he understands/acknowledges, even if it's different from the way flynn is popular! and it's cute to imagine that extends to crushes. i hadn't personally had that idea about the NPC from the beginning, you're really in the rarepair trenches out there lmao. F to that guy if true
