저는 지금 제 침실에 있어요. 우리 부모님 두 분 다 거실에 있어요. 지금은 부모님이 TV를 보고 있어요. 여기에 침실에서 사실은 서랍장이 없어요. 대신 침대 밑에서 서랍이 있어요. 침실에 많지 않은 소설이 있어요. 근데 책들 많아요.

오늘은 저는 그냥 집에 있었어요.

아침은 스무디를 먹었어요. 스무디를 마시고 책을 좀 읽었어요. 근데 너무 피곤해서 좀 잠이 들었어요.

note: I was confused between (1) 잠"이" 들었어요 and (2) 잠"을" 잤아요. This is the rationalization I came up with: (1) The sleep is the subject that falls on you (the object); (2) The sleep is what you (the subject/topic) are sleeping (sleep is the object).

pink highlight shows my mispronunciation. I pronounced it with more of a "ㅍ" sound in my recording.

don't forget: "if you start part of a sentence with a time or place (e.g. "just nu"), then the verb and subject of sentence need to switch places"

Today I pretty much just stayed home. I had a smoothie for breakfast, then I read some of the news. Then, I went into my room to study some Swedish. Then, I had some lasagna for a snack. And then went into my room again to read my book. But, I was so tired that I ended up sleeping for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I woke up from a nightmare. I got up and got some more lasagna and read on the couch for a while. Then, I went to my room to talk to Kimmy and studied some Korean after making a hotdog, rice and kimchi snack and watching a Swedish Youtuber while I ate. I came back out when dinner was ready. We watched Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Star Trek together. I let the dogs out during dinner and petted the bunnies too.

It's okay if my target language usage is not an exact match to my English language usage. Whether that's because I was searching for more appropriate words or not knowing how to express an entire phrase or so. I'm learning.

2024.05.08 — Hour +30 min 🇰🇷 Echo method of previously studied sentences (linked below). Except I am far enough along in my pronunciation and vocabulary that I simply entered the sentences into Papago, listened, then tried to remember and repeat what I had heard. Did this until satisfied. Then moved to recording my speech with no prompting besides remembering what was happening in the story.

Relevant proton videos: (In order of: 1st try, 2nd try after marking any areas in need of improvement, 3rd try to improve fluency, 4th video I feel satisfied enough with understanding and fluency - though I believe I pronounced 도시 like 토시....)
