John Deacon’s social anxiety is not some type of k*nk for you to be exploiting or s*xualizing. It’s not cute or fun to have social anxiety, I know from my own fucking egg self.

Brian isn’t happy all of the time. He has(d) depression.

Why don’t you stop commenting about John on his kids posts and give them some support, huh? Imagine someone commenting on your post about something unrelated/or an achievement you got and someone just says, “tell your dad I said hi/I miss your dad/I love your dad!”

the thing about child elton showing up in therapy. the first time, he just sort of pops up. there he is cocky as hell, ready to lead a musical number, smug little bastard. and adult elton is Shook. like wtf. where did you come from. he’s not controlling the boy. the boy is controlling him, butting in on the song and bursting out the doors. and that’s how he thinks of himself as a child. that’s the fantasy he’s created. i had a happy childhood, i was loved, it all went wrong when i was an adult because i’m a terrible person

but then the end. he brings him back. and it’s okay. he’s learned to see the boy for what he really was. a scared kid who needed affection that he was never going to get. and therapy teaches you, not that you can change the past, but that you can parent yourself. you can give yourself the love you needed. you can acknowledge the pain you went through as a child and comfort yourself in order to grow.

and all that in a fucking big budget hollywood flick like jesus i love this movie

okay The Duality Of John Deacon is so damn funny to me like

deaky:

- shy

- sweet

- wears sweaters tucked into high waisted pants

- has long pretty wavy hair or a mushroom puff

- wears yellow

- writes songs about how much he loves his wife

- made an account on a queen forum to thank people for wishing him happy birthday in 2005 and typed out ‘:-)’ at the end

- loves babies

- loves dancing

- actually went and got a perm like a sweet grandma

- smile could cure cancer

- laugh could end world hunger

- lil cute tooth gap

- despite being the second tallest in queen still manages to look tiny

- bops along to songs

- im p sure he currently has a dog??

deaky:

- punched through a glass curtain once at a party, had to get 19 stitches, and played a show anyway

- according to brian, can make you want to die with two words

- would stay out dancing at disco clubs until 6 am

- wrote a response email to a magazine in the early 2000’s that asked ‘have you ever had a wank in a celebrity’s house’ and said ‘yes, but its usually my own’

- didnt get a drag name from freddie at first because he was, and i quote, “too manly”

- had a cocktail bar behind his homemade amp (that has since gone on to alter the way we make guitar/bass amps today)

- objectively one of the best bass players in music history yet

- was queens techie and engineer for the first 5 years of their career

- wrote an entire disco bop about how fucking pissed he was at brian
