also when will deb realize that what she's been craving all those years is connection? Everything narrowed the way to it- obviously the reason why she wants late night so bad- but also "you're addicted to laughs" "do you ever feel lonely?" "You're lonely all the time" "don't leave me" the imagery of the salt and pepper shakers again "it wasn't just that he left me. it was that you left me too" just for when she finally reaches out for kathy, she "just cant do it" and the one person that can do it with her, she's "willing" to lose, "don't you get it?
