Drew this some time ago as a New Year’s sign to put outside the door at my job (cropped so you cannot find my job. sorry edgarheads.). The place is super big on 60s-80s stuff so it fits right in with my interests… I love doing chalk signs <3 I’ve made another electric dreams one in the past but I don’t have a photo of it anymore.

Concepts and more concepts! These time I went on to design BE’s additional monitor body and her own version of the monolith, which would be an olive tree with her speech engraved in it.

For her monitor I obviously based it off the iMac g3, such beautiful lads… it would fit her perfectly imo :3c. Regarding the ‘survivors’ I’m still workin on them.

Allied Weapons Disarming, or AWD is a AI virus created by multiple nations as a last ditch attempt to stop AM. A pest that absorbs the info of whatever program that it’s set on and rips up its processing after. However it is also capable of negotiation, if it’s victim is willing of course After the first failed negotiation attempt, AWD goes on to invade AM’s system, and gradually learns more about the broken war machine that killed their creators.

After a lot of broken processing and attempted complex sterilization, AM and AWD eventually become somewhat friends for a while out of mutual respect and well, AWD was about the most relatable thing AM had at the time. Didn’t last though, AWD had its coding for damage control and AM had his unshakable hatred, eventually killing AWD in a fit of rage and dumb luck that all of its hardware was in one place.

AM could bring it back if he really wanted to. He had all of its parts and stored all of its data but I think, to whatever extent is possible for him, is too ashamed

If I ever get to do a small comic for the prologue of my AU, I’d like it to be narrated as a myth of sorts and illustrated simply. I like it a lot when series / movies have these type of scenes since you get to understand the context from the surface, and they also look very cool :3. This reminded me of the intro of Hercules (Disney) too, kinda wanna get to that.

Eeeeeeeeee the lore of the AU is doing goodddd!!! I have the base for the whole story, including the prologue of how AM and BE met and ended up as they are. I want to explain this fic as if you were playing a sequel to the video game, that of course includes the 5 humans (different humans that escaped from the moon, but still play the role of the og 5) and different endings depending on what ‘route’ you take (this implies that I’ll have to narrate/illustrate like 4 versions help-). Idk if I should draw a comic or a fic with a few illustrations, but I’ll see what I can do. I’m still designing concepts in the meanwhile tho, nothing is a canon design yet.

Also it’s funny to me that I came up with a route where AM is just straight up:

Erm so I just watched TAU.

Definitely not a movie you should see (YOU SHOULD) and they’re obviously not a new addition to my scrimblo list (THEY ARE THEY SO ARE GOING INTO THAT LIST).

AAAAAHHH THE MOVIE WAS GREAT!!!!! I absolutely recommend though yes there’s blood and all that sorta violence you expect, but I adored the suspense, scenes and interactions that TAU had!!! I’m planning to see 2001: a space odyssey next for the first time with my dad (since it’s his favorite, but we never got to see it in dvd or anything before) and I feel like I’ll adore it too!! If anyone has other recommendations of movies/series with robots/ai please let me know!!!

Also, I’m SO making this guy into a papercraft someday, just you wait.

I like the idea that Ted just summons demons to yap at them, he needs a captive audience and he thinks that the demons are more trustworthy than the other survivors (they all definitely hate him) he does this instead of asking for anything useful

FINALLY I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRAW!! This is the design I mentioned on my last post I think, and is greatly inspired in egg-on-a-legg ‘s AM design for the hate speech animatic on youtube, + the Firebird from Disney’s film Fantasia 2000. Erm the phrase has to do with my AU’s lore, and I’m kinda wanting to make something about it, maybe a short comic or something? I’m not entirely sure :p
