also hate seeing ppl talk about toph and how she’s a great disabled character because she’s a badass and being blind doesn’t stop her. when in reality the reason she’s a good disabled character is that she just actually exists in the world and her blindness isn’t ignored and is an active part of how she moves through the world while not being the entire focus of her character

#people when disabled people are not ashamed of their disability but instead just #Treat it as a part of themselves because it is #out.
