Hypnovember day 3: Vampire! Details about the piece under the cut

These two are actually OCs of mine! The vampire is Maeve (she/her), and the victim is Crimson (he/him). Maeve is an older vampire, around 200 years post-turning. She let herself be bitten to avoid a gruesome death by tuberculosis. Since then, she's spent her time researching two things: 1) how to turn herself human again and 2) how to become immortal instead of undead afterward. That in and of itself isn't terrible, but she also loves unethical experiments on animals, people, demons, angels, etc.

Crimson's whole deal is a little harder to explain. Maeve is part of a webcomic I want to make someday, and I used that setting for a Monster of the Week campaign. One of my players said that he wanted to essentially play Sailor Moon. So, I leaned into that, and created Crimson as an NPC. In the shortest possible terms, he's a half-alien from the future.

In the "second act" of that motw campaign, Maeve bites Crimson and turns him. She doesn't actually hypnotize him (in that specific moment), but it's hypnovember.

Anyway, I'm not super jazzed about how this turned out, so I'm not gonna put it in the tag.

Hypnovember '23 Days 1 & 2

I'm gonna try and do hypnovember again this year! I'm using the prompts from this list, if you're curious.

I technically did a drawing for "collar" yesterday, but I really didn't like how it came out. So, here's a different one, plus today's. I'm very busy most days, so I have no expectations of doing every prompt on time, but I also want to draw more.

None of the characters depicted here are previous OCs of mine, but I might use that fae creature again later. They use they/them, and the other characters both use he/him.

I didn't really have a plot for the first one other than "hypno-collar make brain go brrrrrrr". The second one, however, I imagine is the result of the black-haired boy wandering into the Magic Woods outside his home village, and following a sweet scent until he was much further into the woods than he intended. And then fairy shenanigans ensue.

Thought I’d include a couple fun facts about the bees

1) The Queen bee is a literal giant alien bee. She is very fluffy. 2) If you request something of 2 or more bees, they will use each other to stay on track and reject it. However, if you get one alone they are more likely to be agreeable, as they can't think for themselves. 3) Bees subdue their targets with high frequency sounds from their vibrating wings, but there needs to be at least two of them to surround their prey or it only makes the person dizzy.

Due to the last two reasons, Bees rarely travel alone.
