Is there any particular rules when it comes to people like becoming vamps? Like minimum age or something like that?

Arthur: There is no set minimum age, but it's widely looked down upon to sire children. I died in my early twenties, as did most of our coterie. I believe Ivan was 27, making him the oldest, in life, anyway. I've known those who've died later in life. There are strict rules about who someone sires, though. It's a rather lengthy and convoluted process to do it.

"Vampire Law" as Alfred calls it was codified and is enforced by the Camarilla. To make a long story short, they're essentially a small underground government for us to abide by. The controversy lies in if you buy into the Camarilla at all. Other factions oppose or completely ignore the policies and enforcements of the traditions. Everyone has their own opinions about the organization, some more vocal than others; vocal to the point of war with one another.

How do you feel about being vampires? To know you are technically dead?

Feliciano: After so long it really doesn't cross your mind unless you're around humans a lot. I, of course, would like to be alive again, but this new life isn't that bad. I got the hang of things easily enough, Ludwig took a while to take to everything. Though, if it weren't for the others, I fear we might not be standing here today.

What do the clans names mean?

Arthur: From my understanding, the clan names are actually the names of the clan founders. See, members of each clan supposedly descended from what is known as an Antediluvian, vampires of the 3rd generation. It is unclear if they named their offspring what we call the clans today or if the names were taken on after they disappeared. Of course, to some, they still live, lying dormant until the final days.

Is there anyone else from other clans you guys know?

Alfred: Sure, most of the people we know aren't our best friends, but we can call on some of them if we need something. Ivan is more private, he more or less just does what the situation requires of him and goes back to wherever he goes when he's not in front of us, and the other two are too young to have made any meaningful contacts...well, besides us.

Ludwig: Getting used to my lack of a pulse was more difficult than these new powers. Sometimes it can be strange but I suppose I've become accustomed to it. Besides, I won't be doing any complex rituals anytime soon, the amount of material to study this condition of mine is limited.

For Ivan. Why do you call them fledglings?

Ivan: Ludwig and Feliciano only died a few years ago while the rest of us are at least 100 years old. We were all fledglings at some point, but we grew out of it. I'm not sure when we consider ourselves experienced but it happens at some point. We have a lot of weird terms and phrases to describe things.

BLOOD MAGES?????

Arthur: So steeped in occult knowledge, I forget how whimsical and outlandish this all sounds to people. The powers of the Tremere are exceedingly versatile, able to do things that even elude my knowledge. Alas, their knowledge is even beyond me, as they're incredibly careful about who they teach their trade to. Ludwig is still very young and has no real outlet for his practice, making do with the few tomes I have in my library.

Ah, maybe in another life I might've been among them...an interesting thought.

What is different from each clan?

Arthur: There are a plethora of other bloodlines that don't descend from Caine found around the world. It would take far too long to go over every strength and weakness of each of them, but I hope this helps!
