👄 What is your OC’s smile like? Is it bright and wide, or thin and reserved? Does your OC wear any lipgloss or lipstick? Do they chew their lips?

I'm gonna cheat a little and do three >:3

Riku: He has three types of smiles I would say. The first is his default one which is more of a smirk than a smile, it doesn't fully reach his eyes but its still charming enough that most people will be fooled into thinking he's relaxed or happy. The second is a more devilish grin that usually shows up when he's about to or in the middle of doing something incredibly stupid (usually when fighting lmao). And the third is his true smile. A full wide grin teeth on full display eyes lit up the kind of smile that just lightens everyone's day you know the one. He only really does this when he's extremely happy or around people he trusts!

Yuna: She has a much softer smile than her brother, and despite what you might think she smiles more often than him! I would describe it as bright and thin ig, that kind of relaxing smile like on a summer evening relaxing with your friends kinda warm. Idk if that makes sense I kinda suck at describing these huh. She bites her lips when she's stressed </3

Spider-Fiend (Prince Parker): Prince to be honest doesn't smile too much. He's a little self conscious of his smile especially after he gets bitten by the spider and his teeth start to look a little more devilish... So he usually flashes a small thin smile or a little smirk every now and then. His Gwen and RJ (his universe's MJ) both tell him he has a really cute smile though so he will let the occasional wide grin out around them <3

And tbh I don't think any of them would wear lipgloss or lipstick...

✋ Are your OC’s hands smooth, rough, or average? Why? How do they keep their nails? Do they bite them, paint them, neatly trim them, et cetera?

I would say they're around average, like I don't think any of the activities he does would make them rough but I don't think they'd be smooth either? They are usually kinda cold though! He has poor circulation (like yours truly). As for his nails he paints them regularly! Or I should say has them painted regularly, Yuna really likes to paint nails and Riku is her usual hand model :] They'll usually be whatever she wanted to try in that moment but if he does get a chance to request a colour he usually requests black. He doesn't bite his nails but he does bite his knuckles whenever he's really stressed.

👖 What type of clothing does your OC generally wear? Why? Do they have any “signature” accessories?

I'll be honest I'm not good with like, clothing names and aesthetics but I think the kind of clothes she wears could be described as grunge? She likes to wear various sweaters with collared shirts. As she gets older she gets more into lolita fashion thanks to Chidori (who she is really close to :] ). As for signature accessories I've been brainstorming what exactly she would have but she does make her own jewellery so it would likely be a bracelet or a necklace she made (she's the one who made Riku's signature dagger earring)

I have a lot of feelings about the rise of he would not fucking say that attitudes in fandom spaces and the paralysing effect it can have on creators. As a writer i think it’s important to just write what feels true to you and not what you think others will “approve” of. Like even as a reader i have enjoyed a variety of different characterisations that all work because the writer makes them work for a particular story. And a fic that’s written out of character to some will be in character to others. Writing fic is not your job you’re not being paid it’s your hobby please. Make them as close to canon as possible. Make them completely different. Who cares! Have fun! Have so much fun! There is an audience for every kind of fic and every kind of character interpretation i promise
