I like that post that’s like ‘they both call each other Blanc’ but Benoit calls him Phillip (unless thats only for home? Phillip calls him Blanc because there’s a potential client there? anyway-)

I propose that Phillip is Hugh Grant’s characters last name (before they got married, if they are - or maybe they have joint last names? Or just kept their last names for professional reasons? Anyway-)

Maybe it’s because they met through work and it just stuck, maybe Phillip’s first name is Benjamin or something and they can’t have all their friends calling both of them Ben - either way I think them calling each other by their last names is cute

Thomas x Kitty Headcanons #3

When Thomas finally started to realise he was in love with Kitty, he started panicking that he was "cheating" on Alison and wanted to let her know so he could "let her down gently"; alternatively, he's already over Alison by this point and they can be bros. Either way, once Thomas tells her his feelings for Kitty she's on board pretty quickly (it's cute and they'd be good for each other) and wants to help them get together.​

When Thomas tells the other ghosts he plans to Woo Kitty, they're less on board. Captain starts twitching. Cut to him chasing Thomas across a field. Pat helps calm him down but then also starts giving Thomas a shovel talk. He ends up getting about 20 shovel talks (the Plague Ghosts are here? And why is Mike trying to talk to him, he's facing the wrong way). However, once they see how badly he is at actually courting Kitty, they decide it's too painful to watch and all start giving him advice.​

He tries very hard to compose the perfect poem and after a lot of advice from the others manages to condense it down to just three hours! He ends up using a lot of confusing metaphors that Kitty doesn't really get, and she kind of gets distracted halfway through, but she still gives him feedback as always – not quite what he was going for though. ​

Alison suggests, since Kitty loves singing, he sings for her; he ends up choosing a sad song from a musical and she cries the whole way through.  He invites her on a “picnic” to the lake to cloud gaze but she does that with the Captain sometimes so it obviously couldn't be with romantic intentions! He invites her to watch their favourite films – again, chooses a sad chick flick that she cries the whole time through. ​

He tries every time to let her know his feelings but he either freezes, gets tongue-tied or she just doesn’t understand. She’s spent so long thinking she and Thomas would never have a chance that she doesn’t fully realise he’s serious.

The others try giving advice but that's even more confusing.

Thomas finally gives up trying to be romantic and just come out with it -​

Thomas: I've realised I'm in love with someone​

Kitty: really? That’s great, do they know?​

Thomas: Well, I've been dropping them the most insanely obvious hints for nearly a month now. No response.​

Kitty: Wow. They sound stupid.​

Thomas: But they're not! They're really smart actually. Just... dense.​

Kitty: Maybe you need to be more obvious? Like, I don't know... "Hey! I love you!"​

Thomas: I suppose you're right. Hey Kitty, I love you​

Kitty: See! Just say that!​

Thomas: Jesus fucking Christ ​

Kitty: If that flies over their head then, I'm sorry Thomas, but they're too dumb for you​

Thomas wants to smash his head into a wall but seeing as that's physically impossible for him, he decides to just go for it and kisses Kitty instead.​

He starts apologising for not asking her first but she just carries on kissing him. They do get to talk eventually (a while later) and explain their feelings to each other. From then on they're inseparable. ​

Thomas x Kitty Headcanons #2

Kitty was the first to have a crush on Thomas but Thomas was the first to realise he was in love with Kitty. ​

Kitty kind of had a crush on him from before he died, having overheard Isabelle talking about him and then thinking he was handsome when he arrived. She didn't really understand his poem but really loved his passion for it; it clearly made him happy and she couldn't fault him for that.​

When he died, she was excited to have someone new to talk to; Robin, Humphrey and Mary were nice but they were all a bit older than her and she saw them almost as parental figures (they watched her grow up and were kind of glad when she didn't get sucked off so they could spend more time with their fave (fuck Eleanor)). Thomas was closer to her age (almost 10 years older but closer than anyone else she knew) and was even from the same era! Maybe they won't have much in common but you never know! It did stay mostly just a crush, her being so invested in having a new friend that she barely thought about romance.​

Whereas with Alison and every other one of his "loves" it was love at first sight, when Thomas first met Kitty he had just died and was still in love with Isabelle; by the time he really started to notice the other ghosts, he had gotten used to Kitty being there and wasn't so concerned with her being the newest pretty thing in his life. This allowed them to actually become friends without any attempts at romance – they could learn about each other without any pressure.​

If Kitty had come along after his death, he would've reacted exactly like he did with Alison

Thomas x Kitty Headcanons #1

They're both Musical fans. Kitty likes stuff like Hairspray, Legally Blonde and Cinderella; Thomas likes stuff like Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, The Count of Monte Cristo (especially CoMC, it's basically his life story). They both love Wicked and Mamma Mia though; Kitty wouldn't stop singing 'Popular' for a week after hearing it. Kitty also love Disney films obviously; Princess and the Frog, Tangled, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted and Cinderella especially.​

Unfortunately, due to Alison also being a musical fan in school, they also end up getting really into Glee and set off Alison's interest in it again.​ Kitty, Thomas, Alison and Pat start Musical Club - the others aren't as into it but they like some musicals (Mamma Mia is a fan favourite)

They also love cheesy pop songs and Kitty makes Thomas sing and dance to them with her (Mike's fault that they get really into Britney Spears). Thomas serenades her with 'What Makes You Beautiful' by One Direction or something; everyone else is cringing while Kitty absolutely loves it​.

Once they get together, they're that insufferable couple that everyone hates because they're so in love (this was actually what Mike and Alison were like to their friends when they first started going out, which they refuse to acknowledge). They're always holding hands or cuddling, going on "picnics", having movie days (movie nights are for the group) and generally being cute. It does die down after a  while but they're still affectionate and smitten with each other for the rest of their deaths​

Thomas uses loads of nicknames for Kitty (not always good ones) but Kitty usually just calls Thomas by his name “because I like your name :)”​

Kitty speaks fluent French (I just think it would be funny – no one knows until Pat says some mediocre French phrase and she bursts out with a full sentence, excited that he speaks it too. No one else knows how to react and Pat just says "oui" to whatever she says). She'll say some random sentence in French and Thomas will start blushing and twirling his hair.
