It was one that failed to belong to themselves, a fact that failed to deter Tetsu from exploring the area. It wasn’t as if they were to care if they were to be seen. With the echoing of footsteps, a raised brow was signalled in the direction of its source, Tetsu being met with the sight of a masculine frame and their unconvincing acting. “ Wow, convincing, ”  words emitted, tone lifeless, as they approached with a glimmer of curiosity blurred into obsidian irises, “ You have a promising career in acting, I’d say. ”

           OTHER THAN THE FACT that the paint bomb was ready to be activated at any second, the boy was relatively calm. it wouldn’t be good if he stayed longer than he needed to, but hansol found himself staring at the other, mimicking the same curiosity. he'd never seen them around before, and perhaps they didn’t recognize him either. it wasn’t like everyone got to see the leader of the red lions to be confused about his presence. a slight chuckle escaped his lips, “ but what if i wasn’t acting, huh? what else would i be doing with a plant? it’s not like i can smoke it...so there’s really no reason to act. ” sol carefully stepped in front of the plant just enough to hide his prank.

          WITH SILENT STEPS, the boy placed one of his famous paint bombs in a plant located in the waikiki’s headquarters. since so many people assumed he was his brother, there was no problem in getting in. there were a total of five left in hansol’s bag, and once he got to a safe-point outside, he’d press the button that’d make a beautiful colorful mess all over the other gang’s building. as he stepped away from the plant, the elevator opened. play it off, was his initial instinct. “ nature, huh, i was just smelling this plant....you know...don’t mind me... ”

      it was an understatement to say he was surprised. hansol had never gotten that reaction before when he talked about how good his burgers were. perhaps some people had other ways of interpenetrating things than others. his expression had changed without him knowing, but quickly switched back into a cheeky grin, “ i promise i only meant i’m a good cook, i’d never do that here, that’s a job to be done at home. ” there were so many interesting people coming by today he almost couldn’t keep track, but he knew he’d remember her for her first comment. “ krabby patty, huh, good choice! are you also a tourist? where are you from? ”

li was in a new place so of course she has to yelp the best places to eat. the first result was the krusty krab, sure the name sounded really weird but she learned to never judge a book by it’s title. the restaurant itself looked really nice, the theme was adorable and she was here for it. it was an odd time so there weren’t many people inside, but there were still a fair amount of customers. she still didn’t know what to order but luckily a worker chimed in just in time. ❝ out of this world? if i don’t get blasted into space it’ll be disappointing, ❞ she couldn’t help but laugh at her own joke,❝ i’m thinking of getting an order of the most popular item, though. ❞ when in doubt go with the majority.

     perhaps, the new people around here were getting prettier and prettier. it was like he’d never seen someone so cute in his entire life. she was a a close second, leaving haru still up there in first, but barely. it was rare for someone to make their own jokes back to him, only his best friends would have. hansol laughed in response, almost too hard, “ you’re a genius. i’ve never seen you around before, are you new here or just a tourist? ” he nodded cheekily and wrote down krabby patty, which was without a doubt the most popular dish served. it wasn’t anything special, just a simple burger, but he was told it was one of the best anyone had ever made. “ one krabby patty coming right up! do you want a side of fries, m’lady? ”

   exploring the town quickly made minjae hungry,   the task of giving out his phone number to the cute girls he saw near the beach was tiring   &   to regain the strength again he needs some food in his stomach.   he stumbles upon a decent looking fast food restaurant,   hoping that they’re not only limited to selling crabs only.   minjae blinks at a very familiar face popping from behind the small window,   for a second he thought it was his best friend,   their faces almost identical had it not been for the scars marking jamie’s face   &   the fact that the other looks a bit younger than the original one.    ‘ uh,   what the fuck ? ’ is the first thing he says as a response,   ‘ wait ––- sorry,   you just reminded me of someone,   but yeah,   i’ll get a krabby patty ? without tomatoes   &   extra pickles.   do you usually make burgers   &    take orders at the same time ? ’

          just when he thought he wouldn’t mix anyone up again, here he was almost assuming the other in front of him was someone else. however, this guy gave off totally different vibes. hansol nodded in response, “ coming right up, that’ll be four dollars and eighty-seven cents! i’m usually the one that does everything, honestly. i don’t know why the rest of the staff likes to just do nothing. maybe i’m a pushover, what can i say, i enjoy working at this place. ” he looked down at his grill, and started flipping the patty for the order. if everyone else was allowed to not follow the rules, why couldn’t he? “ hey, as long as you aren’t a serial killer or have extreme hair loss, you wanna come to the kitchen and talk? i’m bored out of my mind. ”

hansol hadn’t known that the amount of residents in the bikini bottom were going to be raised almost all too suddenly. he only noticed when more people came in and made an order. he was good at telling people apart, but today he had called a few people by the wrong names. it was almost trippy, but he recalled his one friend in middle school looking like a famous actor. he guessed good genes were common these days. after plating the latest order, sol looked up through the little window connecting the kitchen and the front register, “ you looking to order? my burgers are out of this world. ”

this type of field always had it’s own risks, but the pay off was worth it. he didn’t know that he’d be paid so much for what seemed like a small job. han was always the type of person that didn’t try as hard as the others, but somehow managed to be at the same level either way. perhaps, this was meant to be his life forever. sometimes the boy thought about what his mother would say about this if she was still alive. it was like his life was flipped upside down without anyone to help him up. his best friend was the reason he stuck around, though. it was almost as deep as a connection between him and lucille. haneul laughed at the girl’s comment, “ yes, i am a drama queen, get over it. ” he rubbed his hands together as his own plate was being served to him, and began to take a few bites as she talked. it was interesting talking about assignments because no two were ever the same. it was like everyone had their own tasks based on their own strengths and weaknesses. “ that’s actually pretty cool, but i’m not doing anything for the rest of the week. ” it was very hard to get a few days off, but he’d been working overtime for a month now, and the leader had decided it was time for him to rest. it was a good choice too because haneul was so close from becoming completely burned out. “ long story short, i look like shit so kang told me to take it easy. ” he moved his chopsticks quickly over to jihye’s plate, and slurped up her noodles. “ wow, that’s actually really good, better than what i remembered. ” he looked down on his cellphone, “ if you were stuck on a remote island, what three things would you bring? ” he read the message aloud, and looked up at her, “ how should i even respond... ”
