3 weeks on Estrogen

This is an exciting one 😊

To start my nipples are a little bigger again. Like last week it's a tiny change, barely noticeable but it's there. Also when the get hard part of the areola also gets hard so I'm hoping that means my nipples will continue to grow.

Something I've always been really dysphoric about is my belly. I have a pretty typical "beer belly". I don't know why, I don't drink that much but it's where my fat seems to collect. That feels a lot softer than it did before and I can pinch it! It actually feels like a girl belly now and I love it 😁

The other change that I was super excited about is my leg and facial hair is softer and thinner. When I shaved my legs before the hair has always been thick and I can feel the razor scraping over the hairs cutting them but this weekend when I shaved them it was so much smoother. The razor just glides over my legs cutting the hair with it.

So my mother in law stayed the night and like I said it's the first time we spoke since she found out I was trans.

It went really well. She's super supportive. Had a few questions but it was entirely from a place of wanting to understand. We actually had a really nice evening 😊

Did you find it difficult to access hormones in the UK?

Yes and no. I know the waiting list is absolutely ridiculous applying through the NHS so I went private.

I went through GenderGP and they have been okay. They're in the middle of upgrading their contact and help desk which means applications have been getting deleted so I had to fill out application forms multiple times and probably had a longer wait than most GenderGP patients because of it.

The good thing is you only have to pay the set-up fees and everything once. The other times I filled out the applications I just ticked the "this has been paid" box.

The downside is they ask you to pay for everything up front so I was worried what if I pay all this money and they ignore me or say I'm not allowed hormones but it's all been good 😊

2 weeks on Estrogen

A few more changes from last week's update 😊

My skin is all soft and smooth. I love the way it feels. My whole body feels softer.

I look slimmer. I'm not. If anything I've put on a couple of pounds from last week but I look slimmer. If it's correct someone explained that it's to do with the way estrogen affects fat deposits in your body.

The big change though is my nipples are bigger. It's tiny, it's only about 1-2mm difference but I had very small nipples to start with so it's noticeable. No real change in areola size though or breast size

Sorry I haven't been online and posting my daily estrogen update but my brother in law was rushed into the hospital the other day because we thought he'd had a stroke.

We now think it was side effects from his meds mimicking the symptoms of a stroke and he should be fine after reviewing his meds.

He's still not 100% but he's doing better

The last character I played was about 3-4 years ago now. A Tiefling Storm Sorc that ended up becoming a pirate and now searches the seas looking for the source of their powers

Also if you're in the UK, shoe sizes are the same for men and women's shoes but the point about wide fit is still valid

FOR ANYONE WHO MIGHT NEED TO KNOW (cause I've told like 3 trans friends this week)

Your pants size in women's is the waist measurement of your men's pants size minus 20. 38x30 in men's becomes 18 in women's. some variation for cut and style but this is the baseline

Your shirt size in women's is one size up from your shirt size in men's. If you wear a men's small, you'll wear a women's medium

Your shoe size in women's is roughly two sizes up from your shoe size in men's. However, many men's shoes are slightly wider than women's shoes so you may have to get wide shoes in women's when you wear standard width in men's

I don't think this is hrt related but I look slimmer.

I definitely look like I've lost weight but I know I haven't. If anything I put on about 2 pounds.

Not sure if it's part of the whole "fat redistribution" thing but I have no idea where it's gone.

The only other hrt change I've had so far is skin feeling softer
