Wenn ich 10 Bilder aus meinem Portfolio wählen könnte, welche wären das? Diese Frage wurde mir im Rahmen eines Fotoprojektes gestellt, an dem ich gerne teilnehme. Als erstes fällt mir dieses Bild vom heiligen Berg Uluru in Australien ein. Noch immer höre ich den Donner dieses Blitzes, wenn ich das Bild betrachte. Heute ereignete sich wieder einmal eine totale Mondfinsternis. Leider war diese aber nur in Teilen Südostasiens, Australien, Neuseeland und all den vielen Inseln im Pazifik sichtbar. 2015 hatte ich mal die Gelegenheit eine partielle Mondfinsternis im Outback Australiens zu fotografieren. Einst war diese Art der Tajinasten auf La Palma fast ausgestorben. Die rosafarbene Unterart gibt es nur auf der nordwestlichsten der kanarischen Inseln. Und dort auch nur auf Höhen von über 2000m. Heute kümmern sich die Ranger des Nationalparks um einige Exemplare in mühevoller Arbeit. Der Tyndall-Effekt beschreibt die Streuung von Licht an mikroskopisch kleinen Teilchen. Man kann ihn beim Spaziergang durch einen nebligen Wald beobachten. Oder wenn die Sonne am Horizont durch Wolkenlücken scheint. Aber manchmal auch unter Wasser beim Tauchen.
