🤡 Moment.

I took the person who gave them to me at face value and assumed they were Dairy Cow isopods.

After the colony had some time to settle in they continued to be very skittish and not terribly food-hungry, which is not what I'd heard Dairy Cows were supposed to be like. I figured "Hm, these were predated in their old enclosure, maybe I just need to mix in some new genetic stock".

So I got some Milkback isopods today (same species as Dairy Cows) and when I compare them to the isopods I already had...... I think they were Porcellio scaber sp. Dalmatian. No wonder they weren't behaving like Dairy Cows 🤦‍♀️
