what if we were sparring and your shirt was clinging to your body with sweat and your eyes were really intense and that got me distracted enough for you to pin me to the ground and sit on top of me? and maybe you were breathing all heavy and gave me a smug little smirk while saying “i win” and then i went “are you sure?” and grabbed you by the collar to pull you in for a kiss? and perhaps once we separated i said “because i think i’m the real winner here.” with our foreheads still pressed together? i think that’d be kinda cool idk!

“Hey!” Ochako exclaimed, playfully elbowing him on his side. She was used to the jokes about her height. Some, a bit mean and not at all pleasant. But coming from Todoroki, she could not consider it in the same category at all. Of course he did not meant to hurt her, so the girl was not bothered by the fact. “Who have you been talking to? Who taught you that? Shouldn’t you speak more carefully to someone who can headbutt your knees?” Her words left her, almost interrupted by the chuckle that left her mouth.

When she said she wanted to help people, Ochako really meant in more than one way. Her parents might’ve been the push she needed, but that was not the only reason for her to become a hero. Yes, she wanted the money to help them, to take away any burden she could from their shoulders. But she still wished to help everyone she could, in any possible way. Her parents always tried to hide their worries from her, not meaning to trouble their daughter. Unfortunately, she was a perceptive girl. It made her sad not being able to help. For the moment. But it seemed like that was an usual behavior for adults.
“I know you don’t want to burden me...” Yet, weren’t they already carrying more responsibility than they should at their age? Ochako was definitely guilty of avoiding his eyes. In fact, avoiding him altogether. As she had been shrewdly caught by more than one of her friends, she had been staring at him for a while. It started unconsciously but she only realized that it wasn’t a one time thing when others started noticing. Being so self conscious of the fact, the girl didn’t know what to do with that. And her mind quickly jumped to the (stupid) decision of not looking at all, unable to predict his reaction if he came to the same observation as their classmates. Yet, even if he did -- and she doubted he would’ve without saying anything about it -- things reached another level now that Mina had hinted that she, as well, was aware of that. Now, SHE wouldn’t be keeping her mouth shut for a long time, Ochako knew that much.
Changing the strategy from avoiding staring to avoiding him as well didn’t last long as he somehow managed to corner her before she reached the elevator to the floor of her room. “Hey Bakugou...” Her voice was strained and the wording awkward. She tried to avoid his eyes, her gaze wondering through his face, running from his brow to cheeks to finally chin and lips. No, that was infinitely worse, she snapped as her eyes came back to his.
