It’s honestly pathetic af that most normie straight people are better allies than a lot self proclaimed queer people.
Most straight people who aren’t conservative or terminally online tend to have a “live and let live” attitude and it’s great. They don’t think lesbians are bigots for not wanting to suck dick because they understand what a homosexual is. Like that bullshit doesn’t even cross their minds. They may misspeak or make stupid assumptions sometimes, but that’s infinitely more tolerable than getting talked down to or threatened or sexually harassed by some honey nut queerio who thinks my sexuality isn’t “inclusive” enough.

A lot of women need to stop confiding in their male partners about past trauma or SA because some of these men get off on that and will try to exploit it to be your savior, or use it as ammo to hurt you emotionally.

ABOUT PORN. I'm fucking angry
I wanna make an anti-porn post as a former porn actress. And I wanna be really real and harsh and honestly I wanna be a bit rude.
I have worked in porn. There are videos of me right now, today, out on the internet that I will never be able to have deleted. All the arguments to excuse porn sound to me like the "wait that's illegal" meme, and they're disgusting and insulting.
I'm not gonna say which company I worked for, the websites, or my "porn name", because obviously, so don't even ask. But I know first hand what happens, and people just refuse to listen because "guys wanna jerk off :((". It's a slap in the face to all of us who have worked with this, and those who still work with this. No actually it's a spit in the face and a slap.
Have some humanity. Your dick isn't the royalty you think it is.
Example. My brother was on the internet at the time I was "working" and got one of those pop-up ads for "girls in your area looking for you", with my nude picture on it, right in his face. Can you imagine what that felt like for me, or him for that matter? Btw I hadn't sold my pictures to any of those things, they were all stolen. It's normal practice.
"It's ILLEGAL to coerce!!!" Please. Use your brain for one second. We don't live in care bear land. Has it ever occurred to you that some people... are not good people?
Yes, it all happens. Drugging, choking, raping, beating, and coercion. All of it, all the goddamn time. Drugging someone up to their eyeballs to film an especially violent scene? Normal practice. "Do this or no pay"? Every single day. And I'm leaving out the graphic stuff.
Yes. YES, it happens. Yes it fucking happens. Put your ego aside for two seconds and LISTEN to women. Listen to women who have actually worked with, and excuse my french, fucking strange men in real life.
Stop watching porn.

Some people don't know how bad things have become. This is a rape shelter in Vancouver. First they got sued because they only have women volunteers on their phones.
Some guy really wanted to hear all the rape stories and they said no.
Then the rape shelter was vandalized. Talk about punching down! The ultimate abuse was they had funding stripped from them. Why? Because they dared be a shelter for women. And that’s not allowed any more. Not even for rape victims.
When they say who can any of this hurt? It can hurt those women. It can hurt those women a lot. The women who are traumatized and frightened and battered.
This shelter fought back and now depends on private donations. Other shelters have given in.
Imagine being a rape victim and just asking for one space where it can be all women. Even just one room. And being told you must include men or you can’t get help.
At the heart of it, rape is a crime of forced inclusion. You weren’t allowed to say no. Part of healing is being given back your power and that includes the ability to say no.
If a rape victim wants a healing space that only has redheads born on a Tuesday in it, I’d try to find her such a space. She has been traumatized. She is terrified. We would all do anything to help her be less frightened. At least most of us would.
To be clear, I can’t be sure of the motive of any particular person who demanded to be a volunteer at any particular time, but there are men who love to hear women’s rape stories and some women don’t like telling their stories to men.
And don’t think these are rare situations. There are many shelters across the world that have been facing the same pressures. It’s a huge story. When JK Rowling funded a shelter just for women she was swarmed by the fly lords! (See my pinned thread for that reference).

I think we've all seen news of former porn stars who tried to pursue another career, but were fired from their jobs because men recognized them. Now, imagine this in the era of OnlyFans. Thousands of young women are faced with the harsh reality that they cannot make enough money to survive by selling nudes/pornographic videos online. What are the chances of them being able to hold down a regular job before one of their "clients" recognizes them? That is going to be a gigantic social crisis. And we will need to demand government measures to protect these women or they will kill themselves in droves.

y'all will say "biology has nothing to do with being a man or woman" and then take hormones to mimic the secondary sex characteristics of the opposite sex and in extreme cases go under the knife to chop off your breasts and castrate your penises. like if being a man or woman has absolutely nothing to do with biology, why are you attempting to transition at all? what are you even transitioning from, if your biological sex has no bearing on your so-called internal sense of identity. why are any of you even calling yourselves trans. like genuinely

what i don’t understand about trans women needing to be included in lesbianism is that like… if males are going to be in my sexuality, then what am i attracted to if not sex? it’s not femininity, since butch lesbians have existed forever and reducing women down to spinny skirts is misogynistic in nature. you are… attracted to someone saying “i’m a woman”? you’re attracted to the pronouns she/her? i don’t understand. that is literally not how attraction works

I am thinking about how my father's generation would hide Playboy magazines and swear by god that they were just keeping them for a friend if their wives found them. Now men openly watch the most violent, dehumanizing pornography and call their wives Karens for questioning their morality. It's crazy how much we have regressed on this issue.
