Updates on the company that scammed me on Alibaba dot com. And yes I will put their company name out there because I’ve been dealing with hell because of them for the last two months.

SOME of the plushies arrived today. You’d think that’s a good thing right ? Well no. I only received 26 out of the 101 I paid for. Not only that, but most of them came with so many wrinkles they’re pretty much un-sellable. Only 5 out of the batch don’t have this issue. The seller told me to use a hair dryer to fix it, but it burned the fabric solid.

Now if you’ve heard about my latest update, Alibaba promised to refund me $400 on Monday if the stuff had been delivered this week. Or a full refund of the almost 2k I spent on Monday if there was no update on the tracking.

But now, technically I’m not eligible for either anymore. Not all the plushies arrived, so they can’t give me the compensation yet. And some of them arrived, so I’m not eligible for a full refund anymore either.

I’m gonna try to find a way to fix the wrinkles issue (btw, the last plushies never had this issue, the deep wrinkles only happened because they’ve been stuck in tight plastic bags for 70 days even tho I had paid for express shipping).

If I can somehow fix the wrinkles, I’ll put the few plushies I have on Etsy as soon as I can. If not then I don’t even know what I’ll do with them.

This has been so stressful I feel like all the life has been drained out of me. This is literally worse than what I thought would be the worse case scenario before. Because at least if they never arrived, I could have gotten a full refund and ordered some somewhere else, but now that some arrived it completely fucked things up. So yeah. For your own sake, I advise you never use this company if you ever want to get plushies made. This is by far the worse experience I’ve ever had with a seller in my life.

Also, just so you can see how bad the issue is, here you go.

The one on the right is one of the few that came in good condition. (And by a few, I mean only 5 out of the 26 don’t have the wrinkles).
