I'd say that italy bit is out of character but literally the way romano was introduced in the show is by italy saying "he's spent more time with our brother spain, so he's become kind of a dick"

Someone sent me an automated character chat bot for Romano and they wanted me to ask him how he feels about the local hottie beauty pageant.
