Then we come to you saying that it is ‘concerning’ that you kin codependent characters, characters with DID, and to use your words “slightly insane” characters. What do you quantify as “slightly insane”? Is it a character who by medical definition is ‘insane’ or do you just mean a character who’s dealing with a mental health issue?

Having an ‘is it only me here’ crisis

Like my trauma from growing up trans, AFAB, queer, invalidated for my existence by people, constantly being teased and torn apart just kinda made me feel like I broke myself down into separate people to cope with it. Cause I spent so many years being seen as different people all the time.

I grew up in the middle of a whole ass gender identity crisis while developing an eating disorder, becoming depressed, being undiagnosed adhd/autistic, not being validated in my identity in any way until I was 17, so many things have made me not know who the fuck im supposed to be. I only just recently came out to my family, so its only recently that I’ve been called my own name across the board. It doesn’t help that when I was closeted, I was different from the person I am now. The thing is though…sometimes i dont feel as if I was closeted. Cause to be closeted means you’re being something ur not to people until you can come out, and I had a good chunk of time where I felt unbothered about how I was perceived by others.

Idk, maybe its something a lil plural-ish, maybe its just the trauma. I ain’t gonna question it
