I know some of yall are twitter refugees, but just so you know:

No one can see your likes. Your likes do not show up on the dashboard on tumblr!! Even if your likes are public, no one is looking at them. If you enjoy a piece of art and want to share it on your blog, reblog it! Its the same as a like or a retweet on twitter, and it DOES NOT annoy anyone following you or the artist!

Your likes on tumblr should be more used to save posts or to give a little love, they function way more like instagram likes! Except they dont boost the posts for the algorithm, because tumblr does not have an algorithm

Basically, if you enjoy a piece of art, reblog it! If you Really like it, leave a compliment in the tags or the replies!
