I have an additional announcement this week. Due to a major life change coming in the next few months, I have decided that I will need to put this blog on hiatus while I work through some of the busy and chaos surrounding this change. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but I feel it is necessary. I wanted to give all of you a heads up before this happens so you could be prepared. The first day of this hiatus will be May 8, 2023. I unfortunately am unable to put an ending date on it at this time. “Blaine! You’re so ridiculous!” Kurt giggles, quickly glancing at his husband, who makes exaggerated hand movements and overdramatic facial expressions as he audaciously sings to him with the radio. His hair flying wildly from the rolled-down windows.

“If you're lost, you can look, and you will find me Time after time If you fall, I will catch you. I'll be waiting Time after time...

“Come on, Cricket! Sing with me!”

Kurt laughs, shakes his head, makes a microphone with his hand, and sings along when they reach the red light. 

“If you fall, I will catch Blaine. I'll be waiting…”

“Together?” Blaine says, jangling a key—which they promptly attached to a keychain with a blackbird the second they signed the dotted line earlier—then pushes it into the lock.

“Mhhm….” Kurt whispers in his ear, sliding his hand over his fiancé’s. “Our first house together. Just us. No more roommates or interruptions!” 

“You and me, baby! Ready? One. Two. Three!” 

Click. The key turns like a hot knife in butter.

“Welcome home!” they say simultaneously and then start giggling. 

Their passionate celebration kisses echo through the empty house, along with the sound of the door hastily shut behind them.
