evidence:

he’s the only person aventurine (other than trailblazer) knows who went to the herta space station during the critter pick event

ratio is probably at least a little friendly with ruan mei. he takes interest in her research so he probably knows about the critters and their location

we first meet him at the forbidden zone, the critters are found there so there’s a non-zero chance that he stumbled upon the critters

yea so remember my previous point? he did meet them! thank you to my wonderful mutual @anominous-user for bringing this to me attention

so uh i think i can kinda piece together what happened now :

dr ratio learns of ruan mei’s research and meets the little critters in the seclusion zone

they won’t leave him alone, reminding him of a certain someone

he messages aventurine a picture and asks him if he’d like one (he’s very tsundere about it ofc)

aventurine obviously says yes

he trips over one of them a few weeks later

he took one look at the critters and thought to himself “hm aventurine would like this”, like he was probably reminded of aven when he saw the critters which is a whole other can of beans. he’s down so bad i swearrrr like aventurine isn’t even there and he’s thinking about him 💀💀

Walked 2.6kms in an hour today!! With no bus back taken!!

Feeling proud of myself, a few weeks ago I couldn't imagine walking even down the street without gasping and grabbing my chest in pain, and today my spine didn't even hurt... my legs are killing me though

I hope in a month I will be able to go to parks with no hesitation that I might collapse in the process, gotta keep at it

And my ankle is still being a bitch but I just gotta keep doing my healing methods with no skips and it will get better I hope

So they checked my ankle and they said that it was recovering fine, I just gotta be careful on my walks and treat it more often That's reassuring

Glad that my worries were disproven

Going back on my walking grind tomorrow even though my ankle is in shambles (from the previous walk 2 days ago)

But at least Im making an effort of trying to return to society by slowly building up my spine and legs with walking.

Never give up 💪🏼

(Nah but fr Im thankful to my brother who doesnt care that I cant walk 5 minutes without whining or stopping, hes the real one)
