So… hey, I’m not dead, which is something, I guess…

I have been having a lot of trouble with mental health stuff recently and college has kicked into high gear again, so I’ve kind of been in this mental purgatory for the past few months. I hope all of you are doing well, though!

Just a quick message to anyone struggling right now, I just want to let you know that you are not alone. Don’t let yourself get trapped in your own head because it is such an easy thing to do and it is such a miserable feeling. Just know you are strong and you should be proud of how far you have come!

Here’s a list of things to do if you need some extra motivation!:

- Make sure you eat and drink water! Food is so important when you are feeling out of sorts!

- Doodle something silly on a piece of paper when you feel yourself overthinking. It will force your mind to do something creative to get you out of a negative thought pattern!

- Call someone you care about and talk for a while! Human contact is important!

- Take a walk when you feel yourself getting overwhelmed. Fresh air and sunshine is amazing for a tired mind!

- Listen to your favorite music to get your mind off things. Don’t be afraid to sing along!

-Don’t forget basic self care! Sometimes that is the only thing we have control of, and that’s ok! You should be proud of taking care of yourself!

I hope some of you find this helpful because I know we all need to hear words of encouragement sometimes!

So, I had this idea about a fighting technique Error might use when he is in a battle.✨

We all know that he has horrendous eye sight when it comes to things that are far away (he’s nearsighted). Due to this, fighting enemies can often be difficult if they are outside of his field of vision.

If Error ever felt like he can’t see, whether it be due to his nearsightedness or if it’s too dark, he could quickly create a sort of spider web around himself using his strings. Spiders rely on vibrations from their silk strands to locate pray and deformities in their webs. Like a spider, he would now be able to feel any movements from his enemies from the vibrations through his strings to let him know where they are located, without having to rely on his poor eyesight.

Once the enemy was detected, he’d be able to quickly use that to his advantage and send his strings in that direction. While it may not always be accurate all of the time, it beats fighting blind.

When Nightmare and Dream were younger, their village would celebrate holidays with several festivals throughout the year. Nightmare didn’t care much for them, since it was just another excuse for the villagers to drag Dream away from his duties…

Away from him.

But, there was one festival that the young negative guardian rather enjoyed.

The Spring Equinox festival

This festival celebrated the coming of spring and new beginnings. The town would decorate the buildings with beautiful blooming flowers and the villagers would put up vendor booths, selling bouquets, seasonal treats, and handmade gifts.

But Nightmare’s personal favorite tradition was trading seed packets with Dream.

The villagers believed that seed packets symbolized different blessings when gifted to someone you care about during the Spring Equinox festival. For example, if someone were to give you camomile seeds, they are hoping you find patience in adversity in the coming year. When planted, the seeds would make the blessing come true.

Dream always got Nightmare lavender seeds, symbolizing happiness, peace, and virtue.

Nightmare would give Dream daisy seeds, symbolizing joy, patience, and purity.

The brothers would then plant their seeds around their tree and watch them grow into beautiful flowers as the spring season progressed. They were special to Nightmare. They reminded him that his brother was always there for him as he watched their gentle petals sway in the breeze. He always held his brother’s blessings close to his soul.
