So I have a semi messed up headcanon about clockwork.

Okay so what if he has a glass eye. Like the eye with the scar over it.

What if the Observants forcefully removed it and that's what Clockwork means when he says that they can shroud his vision or prevent him from seeing certain things in the future.

What if one eye can only see the past and the other the future. I think the observants took the eye that sees the future.

The glass eye could be magically linked to his original one but the observants can cut the feed so to speak whenever they want.

But the thing is the observants forgot that when significant things change in the future sometimes it effects the past.

So clockwork often has to use the changing events to try and put things together. Context clues if you will.

That's why he can know so much but still be flawed in his assumptions.

Also given the observants have a whole eyeball theme going on.

It's really not that big of a jump in logic or symbolism tbh.

They would probably have a way to not only preserve the eye but use it too.

Vlad can tell himself whatever he wants as to why Maddie chose Jack over him, but the real answer is that it's because she's just as bat-shit crazy (pun totally intended) as Jack. This right here is relationship goals XD.

One of the things I think that would result in one of those “Villains actually being nice” scenarios is when Danny, either in human or ghost form, is trying to study in some secluded area and the Lunch Lady shows up. Danny’s all “Oh, no, you don’t! I have a test tomorrow!” and she actually listens and goes “Oh, my apologies, dear.” and they just sit in silence instead.

Now Danny has a habit that had already developed before becoming half ghost, a habit called “not eating dinner and staying up later than he realizes because he’s so focused studying”. His stomach growls loudly like he hadn’t eaten all day, and he probably hasn’t, but he completely ignores it. Lunch Lady soon comments on it, but Danny just brushes it off saying that he’ll eat later. Lunch Lady presses on, maybe ranting about how important it is to eat even as a half ghost, and slowly gets irritated until Danny lets it slip that he often goes with only two meals a day because everyone keeps interrupting lunch and he’s sometimes so tired that he sleeps through dinner or just keeps studying and looses track of time, and that this isn’t a new thing either.

Lunch Lady wins in the end, giving him something that’s not poisoned like Danny suspected, and made a promise to herself not to attack during lunchtime anymore. Or any meal time. As a ghost, her obsession is making sure people eat healthy, not just children. Realizing that she was often the reason he missed meals hurt a lot, and she’s determined to make it right. Who knows? Maybe she’ll even try to stall other ghosts so Danny can eat.

What I need of the DPxDC "Bruce confuses Danny for one of his kids and accidentally kinda kidnaps him" is to have Danny's parents go absolute apeshit at someone taking their baby boy! their little guy! the most wonderful, most specialest boy ever!

and now whilst Bruce is just realising what's going on and trying to give Danny back, Jack and Maddie already went through half his rogues gallery looking for who could have taken their son! the villains are in shambles! the GCPD doesn't know if they are supervillains too since they are only targeting OTHER supervillains but anyway they Can Not Restrain Them

Danny sees that and just groans and sinks his head in his hands, defeated, and then hears all the cutesy names they are calling him with and wants to die (again) on the spot "our baby boy! our darling bombon! our little starlight!" (ok, he likes that one), "our sweet, sweet little boy!"

in the end, Danny is reunited with his parents, whom get fined for property damage and attacking cops (it was the cops' fault. acab), and they are hugging Danny and grumbling about the fine ("what did they expect? what parent wouldn't tear down the world for their child?" Jason, looking pointedly at Bruce: "yeah, what kind of AWFUL parent wouldn't?"), but they are understanding enough with Bruce, as it was a mix-up and Danny didn't say anything until later out of awkwardness (they judge his parenting if he cannot recognize he wasn't his kid. no matter that they cannot recognize Phantom as THEIR kid)

they leave, happy and relieved, and Bruce hopes they never really turn to supervillainy

once Jason finds out Maddie beat Joker to half an inch of his life (that clown is hard to kill!), he sneaks into their RV and adopts himself into their home. because i said so

The best thing about 13 was Jack and Maddie and their interaction with Danny. But what made this episode special is how it revealed to me just how similar Danny is to his parents. He got his dad's temper and stubbornness while having his mom's sharp wit. Jack and Maddie may not be perfect parents, but they raised some good kids.
