Remember that reddit post that was going around several months ago about the dude who wanted an open relationship with his girlfriend because he wanted to date “hotter” women than his fat girlfriend but then when she agreed she was dating tons of hot guys and he couldn’t get a single woman to date him so he wanted to close the relationship because he thought it was unfair?
Sometimes I think about that and it gives me life.
honestly why does Mr. Darcy, a man from the late 1700s and early 1800s, understand that an independent female is an awesome thing more than people from 2017? also he respects her decision to reject him?
when my cat got deadly sick she refused to eat a single thing and it had been days but when i started crying she ate just a little bit, and upon seeing how happy it made me, kept doing it whenever she could.
now whenever im sad or crying she finds wherever i am with a mouthful of food and eats the pieces one by one, every time looking up at me making sure i was watching her eat it all because she knew it made me happy. and it DOES make me happy
girls dont mature faster than boys, girls are punished from an early age for the same behaviour that boys are allowed to indulge in well into adulthood
I just bought a print copy of a fanfic and I couldn’t be happier. =D I can’t post what it was just in case of copyright stuff, but I will say, I’d love to be able to get more physical copies of my favorite fics. <3
What I thought reading as an English major would be: Ah, let me relax under this tree in a warm sweater and read this classic piece of literature.
What reading as an English major actually is: I have two days to read this 500 page novel about a bunch of horrible people who I think are all cheating on each other but I'm not sure because this writing style is nearly incomprehensible.
