is this just me or is it super condescending and weird when people say “im so proud of you you’re so brave!” and shit when talking to someone gay about them being gay? Like it’s so back-handed and babying. sometimes i think about the fact that i will never have the experience of high school ever again. i do not agree with the idea that high school is the best four years of your life, as i believe there will be far better years of my life in the future. i can not wait for the day i graduate college, or the day i get married, or the day my kids are born, or when i get to watch my own kid's years of high school.

however, what about hanging out with my two best friends nearly everyday? what about laughing in lunch with my friends about the group next to us? what about gym class when i leave all sweaty and in pain but have a smile on my face from playing a game of tennis with my friends? what about making a shitty bird house in ceramics class and having a laugh with the teachers? what about when i get to leave school and see my friends at my high school years job?

what about when i have to leave? when i have to walk down the graduation stadium and get handed my high school diploma? when i have to walk down and scan my eyes over the biggest graduating class of my school?

they are not all my friends. but i recognize their faces, most of them i can name, and nearly all of them i have some kind of memory with. do you just throw all of that away once you are no longer in high school?

My favorite wenclair take is that once Wednesday starts dating Enid the simp gene she inherited from Gomez just like ACTIVATES.

Like people notice that she starts smiling more and while it is extremely unsettling and makes their skin crawl every time they see it, they realize that it only ever happens when Enid is within a five foot radius of Wednesday. Enid so much as makes eye contact with her and the room just drops 10 degrees and Wednesday just has this crazed look on her face, everyone thinks somethings wrong with her, and Enids just like "Aw, babe, you have a beautiful smile!"

People also notice that Wednesday will do absolutely whatever Enid tells her to. Put on these cat ears for a costume? Yes, of course. Let Thing out of the drawer even though I'm mad at him? I can't say no to you. Wear the snoods? Whatever you want.
