working extra overtime today and all i can do is think about is echo echo echo echo echo. echo coming back with the dad jokes. ears ?????? loml it's been so long since we've seen your ears !!! his determination. his confrontation with [ redacted ] --- being able to face a ghost of his past in a different form ( experimentation ). echo about to become mom of 5 once he rescues the kiddos from tantiss. echo and omega freeing the zillo beast when --- when. thanks for the hand --- echo shut up. i love you. also love how echo stays proving no one in the 501st can lie. they're just so bad at it.

and [ redcated ] screaming constantly, being shoved and pushed around, and just genuinely put through hell and no one caring. the lads really said tragic and kept walking.

i also think there's something to be said about crosshair and trust when it comes to season 3's events, up to the most recent episode. we've seen him slowly go from trusting no one to trusting his former enemy ( who very well may still be an enemy ). the lessons he's learned from bonding with his brothers again --- learning from omega --- they're starting to show. redemption isn't an easy road, but he's trying. he's confronted many ghosts and showed excelling trust in both his brothers, his former enemy and echo. the way he said echo's on it with so much conviction --- so much trust in his abilities --- backed by hunter who said echo won't let us down, he just needs more time. despite how echo may feel about mistakes in the past, they show undying trust in him and he trusts them to be there. and here we are. . . a season about forgiveness, trusting, recovery and acceptance.

the return of the prince aGAIN !!! hE'S BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER ! i saw echo and was immediately excited. not only was i happy to see him, but i was so thrilled to see him helping the batch again --- and i feel like he won't be the only one. ough he was so good in this episode, i swear. arc trooper echo at it again --- with all the skills we needed to see. that's why he's the arc trooper. that sneaking. those power moves. the absolute sass and attitude he gave rampart. the way he just smoothly laid on that cargo crate shipment and rolled off --- uggggghhhhhh i love him so much , ur honor.

okay and i have to say. . . rampart was hilarious. i love how he's just stuck with them --- he's getting tugged along for the ride. it's so funny. echo really called him a hydrosnake. and crosshair was pushing him around and bullying the man. absolute crosshair behavior we love to see. echo getting onto the ship, taking down the shield, getting the rest of the batch to tantiss --- this is it, fellas. we're in the end game now. i'm worried for echo being on that ship alone. . . but i have hope he'll sneak off somehow. he can do it. also i love how he --- how echo used the commando's comm link to issue an all clear using his voice --- i have done this in threads before ! love to see it in canon, too !!!!

He should never had asked for their help. He hadn't wanted to drag them into the thick of the mess, but. . . there was no other mind like Tech's. Looking at the broken goggles, surveying the cracked reflection of his own broken face. . . Echo had wished he'd known someone else. Not because he did not trust them, but because they were now permanently damaged --- nothing would ever bring Tech back to them. And his absence was felt . . . everywhere. Echo sighed heavily, heavy eyes downcast as he tried to sort through the emotions he'd been feeling. The aching pangs of guilt that twisted what was left of his stomach warring against the deep, drowning feeling of loss. Unlike the others, he was not new to the loss of a brother --- nor would he ever pull away. "I've scoured all the data I've stolen and found nothing. Wherever Tantiss is. . . it's almost too hidden."

The mere fact alone made him frown. It was bad enough they were reeling from Tech's death, but they had to accept the fact that the information they'd gathered had been ultimately useless. The coordinates had made little to no sense and all they had managed to confirm was that Crosshair and Omega were likely in the same place. There hadn't been much time to even process. . . before everything had fallen apart. Gloved fingers curled against the backrest of the seat, knuckles popping softly. "I blame them for all of it. Doesn't erase my involvement."

Still, he let the subject filter into the next. They still had a mission --- to locate Omega and, with her, Crosshair. A part of him had hoped that perhaps what Tech had said was true --- maybe Crosshair was trying to contact them to warn them. Genuinely. "From the sounds of it, Crosshair might be in a better mindset now. Well. . . not better, but not theirs either." He shifted, crossing his arms, fingers drumming against the scomp's plating. "I believe in Omega's abilities to fight if she has to. I trust her --- you have to, too. It doesn't mean we won't look. . . but, we have to hope for some type of better outcome than the worst. Otherwise, this search won't go so well." He pulled away, tilting his head as he thought, frown on the tactician's face. It was difficult to say where to start next. Even his searches with Rex hadn't turned up results. A sudden idea caused brows to raise.

"Maybe we're just looking in the wrong places. . . any idea where Cid might have run off to ?"
