Thank you for the tag, @rubyleaf! This is my first game ever~ My first drafts don’t consist of dialogue - just descriptions of what’s happening lol. But here goes... (I copied the rules from your post!)

Rules: Post the last line you wrote, and then tag as many people as there are words in it, or something?

Never Forget

So I’ve been obsessed with isekai (異世界 - “different world”) stories lately. This was supposed to be a short story. But long story short, it became too long so I just wrote the beginning and end in poem form - you can imagine what happened in the middle. I chose this style because I wanted to show how the knight’s feelings change from the beginning to the end.

Synopsis: A newly appointed knight’s first mission is to escort a commoner girl (and next priestess) who will save the ruined earth during a time when all the kingdoms are at war with each other for resources. *Told in the perspective of the knight.

Genres: fantasy, romance, tragedy

My April (a summary)

I tried too hard to rhyme.

Been one(point)five months with one month to go... * -- or maybe a year? Not complaining though. I’m still learning Korean on Pimsleur, Youtube has made all of the days a blur, Darn ol’ Tom Crook won’t let me out of debt, And I haven’t finished my NaNo yet. Baking, napping, and playing everyday, It’ll probably be all the same in May.

*Lockdown in my city started mid-March. They’ve extended it twice. I’ve gotten way too comfy in my house... What is outside? Stay safe, everyone!

New writerblr introduction!

Hello there ! 

I’m Furen Tier (FOO-ren TEAR), an aspiring writer, and completely new to Tumblr lol. I stumbled across the writing community on Tumblr almost by accident and guess what? I’m joining you guys! *excited* I spent the whole day figuring out how to “use” Tumblr (lol, seriously, I had no idea) and customizing my page while also trying to figure out what I was going to post here.

By the way, before I move on to me, I’d like to know: What’s the difference between the tags: writblr, writeblr, and writerblr?

OK. Now about me, I’ll make a list because not every writer likes to read long sentences all the time. (Is that just me?)

I write:  - fiction: mostly fantasy, adventure, fairy tales, sci-fi, fluffy romance - short stories - free verse poems

I like: - reading (books, manga, webtoons) - watching (Disney, anime, variety shows) - music (classical, KPOP, indie… I listen to everything)

Hi SP! Thanks a lot! The name “Furen Tier” is actually part of a name I made for a character in middle school English class lol - it just always stuck to me, and it doesn’t exactly have a meaning :D

Thanks for your welcome! & I’ll say “welcome back” to you! I also started out on the family computer... writing fanfiction in the middle of the living room where everyone can see... lol (o_o)

Hello again, everyone! I’m back from the abyss.

If you followed me before, when I was just linarious, you might remember the way I went hard on a WIP, promptly burnt myself out, and felt the need to cope as I do: by dropping off the face of the earth. Long story short, after deleting my blog(s), removing my WIP from Wattpad, and literally throwing my manuscripts in the trash (yikes), I’ve returned to Tumblr feeling somewhat refreshed - which calls for a certain amount of reintroduction! I definitely missed this community - just let performance anxiety & perfectionism get the best of me. So let’s get started! Please feel free to follow me if you write fantasy (particularly along the lines of dark fantasy/swords & sorcery), horror (I’m dabbling, I guess!), or dystopian science fiction!

About me

I got a BA in Creative Writing last year, which was cool. Can’t say I’d recommend it to any serious writer, but it was a fun ride.

Favorite authors include Poe, Lev Grossman, Cornelia Funke, V. E. Schwab, and Holly Black.

I started out writing short stories about secret ninja organizations (with cool AI glasses, like Tony Stark’s!) before someone let me loose on the family computer, at which point everything devolved into novellas about adventurous house pets & fairies living in tulip houses. There was a fair amount of roleplaying via MSN messenger for a bit there. I drew a lot as a kid (and still do), and had a comic running with a friend of mine for a while, which slowly morphed into one of my WIPS. We do not speak of the Nintendo fanfic phase. Since middle school or so, I’ve been honing my craft; my current WIP started about a decade ago, and one of the early drafts was self-published there for a bit, but we don’t speak of that, either.

I love to help other people refine their work, as I’m a sucker for the technical aspects of writing. I am happy to help you edit if you’re approaching the publishing phase; mostly, I’ve helped clients with developmental & copy edits. Drop in my ask box, and we’ll talk.

I’m not quite ready to discuss what I’ve been working on (as I’m still preparing for it to fall apart in my hands again/don’t want to share much until I have a good chunk written), but I do plan to use this blog as an artblr/writeblr hybrid going forward, so you’ll definitely see excerpts & concept work related to my projects! I’d 100% rather talk about them before I lift a finger to write, so feel free to send asks about whatever! I will say that at this point I am not participating in Storyteller Saturday/Worldbuilding Wednesday/other ongoing ask events until I fully overcome those post-burnout feels, but I do love first/last-line tags and other games, and I’m looking forward to sharing what I can/encouraging folks as we all pursue our writing journeys. Group hug.
