Funko Trollhunters toys

These are without a doubt the toys most people think of when they think Trollhunters and are frequently mixed up with the Simba versions despite being very different lines.There is also another issue in that (Particularly on ebay) people use Funko's production photos not the released toys.

They do look fancy just not what you're actually buying:

Below the cut the first image is a production photo and the second is taken from an ebay seller who didn't go the easy route so that you can properly compare them. Because tumblr is erroring about photos again these cannot be placed side by side.

Jim is fairly common.

Claire has a disappearing off the face of the earth habit and is often priced higher as a result.

Toby is fairly common.

Boxed AAARRRGGHH is fairly rare and is often selling having broken confinement.

Unboxed Blinky is very common though seen quite a lot of boxed too. For some reason the Troll Dads keep being effected by colour corrections.

Bular tends to be unboxed and (To make matters worse) often gets mixed up with another Bular that will come up again shortly...

Jim and Bular are unique in the Funko line in that they also had Deluxe figures which you can see at the New York Toy fair 2017 photo below. This is of course production models too but is great for showing the size difference and exactly why they command a higher price.

The dead give away it's the Deluxe models is their blue box which is unique to them. Some are unboxed so make sure to check the heights or look carefully at the photo used to make sure it's the figure you're after and not the smaller or even a Simba toy.

Can you tell a thread was done on these very recently? Later on will post one on the funko pops/blind box minis and the plushies. Might as well cover all bases.

This blog is where you can send in requests via asks as to where you think I should put giant funko Jim. You can also send in submissions of your own edits. It was also inspired by @benrey-where-he-shouldnt-be.

How this blog started:

This blog started from a retweeted image of giant funko Jim by @toa-archive on Twitter where they suggested giant funko Jim's whereabouts were unknown. This sparked a light-hearted joke that he may still be out there, on the loose, and we need to be careful of him. Since making its way to Tumblr, someone suggested people edit images of him in random places to show that he is indeed, still at large.

How this blog will work:

You can send asks to this blog only either anonymously or un-anonymously, giving me a request of either a real or fictional place you want me to edit a picture of funko Jim into. You may also send in submissions of your own edited images.

RULES:

Do not send something explicitly NSFW

Don't send in any gorey or scary images/requests as I personally cannot handle that type of thing

Please be patient when waiting for your request to be posted as I do have a life outside of the internet and it will just generally take me a while to edit the image

Also if you send an image and it never gets used it was probably from problematic media and I didn't want to use it (problematic media includes things like Attack on Titan, Hetalia, Harry Potter, DSMP, anything from Vivziepop, etc.)

Don't send in requests if it says requests are closed (which will be listed in either the description or at the bottom of this post)
