People talk about the surprise albums from people like Taylor Swift or Beyoncé that drop with zero warning but I have just been existing in this world where every album I've ever heard in my life has been a surprise album because I didn't know that musicians had schedules that we could see

At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.

If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.

listen, if you want to be with someone that has ADHD and doesn’t / can’t take medicine for it, you have to understand that we just forget. Yes, we know you had us write it down and put it somewhere obvious, we still forgot. Yes, you just said it 10 times, we still forgot. Yes, you literally, to our face, seconds before, told us in detail, we turned around and forgot immediately. we forget, everything, immediately, most of the time.

#not an adhd person but sometimes i forgot whole people #i met them somewhere and we exchanged numbers and met up again #and then i like #forgot they exist #once i destroyed a friendship because i forgot a person and didn't answer their messages bc i forgot #or i will always forget birthdays even tho i have a physical calendar with all the birthdays in it #so yeah #everyone sometimes forgets #so we if we can be kinder to everyone (especially with an ATTENTION disorder) #that would be nice

Aaaaa I love the idea of reverse-age gap Starker! I feel like younger!Tony would be an unholy terror about going after what he wanted in comparison to canon-Peter lmao, and it's super funny/interesting to me to imagine 1) older!Peter's reactions to that, and 2) the differences in the way he would approach superhero mentorship from canon!Tony and how that would change the whole dynamic.

This is one of those tropes that I absolutely love but don't have any concrete ideas for vs vague musings as per above, but that I would 100% write if I ever fell upon the right idea!

I actually have a F/F Starker oneshot bouncing around on my WIP list! I don't think I'd write M/F Starker with f!Peter just because that dynamic doesn't really do anything for me with them-- I'm fine with younger woman/older man but it's not a distinct appeal for me, and "starry-eyed up-and-comer with a crush on their somewhat-aloof mentor" isn't an exploration of that dynamic that I particularly vibe with-- but M/F with f!Tony, perhaps. 👀

#oh my #m/f with f!tony sounds so interesting #tbh i have a shitton of headcanons for f!peter also with starker #because i think that it would be super interesting to combine the topic of body image/body dysmorphia with super heroes #as part of the disconnect f!peter might feel with their environment: #it's sometimes difficult to relate to others if you also have to worry about your viligante persons and about saving people #(i mean waking up one day and having a super strong and kinda muscular body is super cool for a lot of folks but might also be weird) #(and if you add into it that the spider bite might add to infertility - then you have a wonderful setting for the whole #'what do i even want from life - not as Spider-Man but as my own person ' #and i just think that talking about bodily autonomy and the “my person vs my Super-Hero persona” would be a great topic for starker #tony stark literally woke up with a whole in his chest #and suddenly he was a super hero and had some responsibility #but both Peter and Tony are the Backbone of their super hero persona #I'm so sorry for rambling i just get very exited about the stories in my head #thank you for playing ask games :)
